Cache is no longer here. See previous log. We've recovered all the debris & emailed the owner via GC.COM.
Alas this cache has met with a serious accident. We traipsed past the small cemetery and were pleased to see that the grass had been recently mown, making the going quite easy to GZ. Oh dear, the grass was not the only thing that has been mown. From a distance we could see what appeared to be rubbish around the base of the tree, however as we neared we recognized the detritus to be that of a Systema container plus assorted bits & pieces scattered all over the place. At first we thought it had been muggled, however we’re pretty confident that the muggle was of the motorised slasher type. The log book is damp & a bit mangled but still legible – and I suppose useable once it dries out. We gathered all the stuff we could find and removed it as it no longer constitutes a cache, but rather litter. The Mountaineer Mark TB listed to be here was not amongst the debris we recovered. Hopefully it’s been picked up by a recent finder and not yet logged.
After getting through the long grass and lantana i found the cache quite fast. TFTC TNLNSL
Heading up to Mt Wilson for a weekend away. Stopped here on the way. We parked in the shade near the church and walked the rest of the way. A nice easy find, took the TB.
Thanks for the cache!
best wishes,
Wal, Jono and Beth

Have always been a fan of caches around grave yards so to get to number 747 today was the target and in a graveyard makes it better.
747, whats so special about that. Here goes.
The 747 is my great mates favorite mode of transport. The beauty of this for budokan is that he is the one who gets to fire up the big Pratt & Whitney engines which develop around 60000 lbs of thrust each and get this beauty flying around 900 kmh.
He gets to cache in some sensational places which I do follow. He is about to get to the winter Olympics, and in March, much to my disappointment he gets to see Dave Matthews live in concert in London. Oh well a t shirt has been promised. That will have to do.
The cache was found quickly, after a slog through some very long and wet grass. 17 caches in two days to get to this number.

Darkness had descended by the time I got here but I knew it was a must do on the way up the mountains as I couldn't turn right into this road on the way back. After negotiating the long grass the cache was soon in hand. Nice view of the city lights from the cache. Thanks!
Found on the way home after a weekend of caching in Lithgow.
Would have been top views from here at dusk if it was not for the haze.

Thanks to event organisers, cache owners and and fellow cachers that we have and are yet to meet. We look forward to catching up at the Geocaching Association of NSW Nurragingy Christmas Party GC1ZCCX December 12 2009 or the Oz Wagga Wagga Mega Event (April 2-5, 2010) GC1Y5R if not before.
Happy and safe caching.

Its not often that Hoojar and (mainly) me aren't too tired to stop for caches on the way home from a canyon, but today we (I) didn't seem to be.
If we weren't on such a time restraint we would have looked closer at the graveyard. They always fascinate me.
Cheers

On our way to the mountains we stopped off here and had a wander through the graveyard before venturing into the very brown-snake-infested looking grass to find the cache. Took 0, left 0. Thanks!
Found this cache at 1:20pm on our way to Katoomba for the weekend. What a lot of history and old graves in this cemetary. The views from up at the church overlooking to the east and the river flats is spectacular.
Took: nil. Left: Bear magnet.
Thanks Acko for the hide.

Signed log. Very nice hide. So astonished at the age of some of the graves, so many who were borne in the late 1700's. Tks Acko. GazMag
Acko, we learned a lot about the Kurrajong tree thanks to the name you assigned this cache. We found it and had a nice walk around the cemetery too. We took a funny looking little orange spiky pig and LN. SL TFTC Cheers.........Gaztek
Found while I was still one half of Argeisia a Ca.. was told by the "higher authorities" I can still log these as my finds so TFTC!!! (not much else to write as I originally wrote half of Argeisias comments)

My GPS went absolutely spare about 20m from GZ.Only by reading the clues and posts was I able to guess the location.TFTC
This one must have seen some recent activity as the trampled grass led to the location, nice view.
Easy find, just follow the tracks in the grass!
I thought that Brachyton populneus was a Kurrajong tree, so why is the cache hidden under a Grevillia robusta, a Silky Oak?
Thanks for the hunt, TNLNSL.

Cache was found without any problems. The sky was finally clearing, and although it was to close in again, the sun actually shone as I filled the log. Thanks Acko.
Nice easy find this one today, 2nd visitor for the day so just had to follow the trail. TNLNSL, thanks Acko.
351 Found on a run to the Big Smoke! Trekked down to find it and then back up again! TFTC
Easy Find. (Hate the long grass). Took tape measure, replaced with a deck of cards. Found at 4.20pm.
This was just the cache I needed for the blue Kombi who wanted to visit Kurrajong. Great view up here, TFTC
Not being a fan of treading through the long grass in the heat of the day I certainly made plenty of noise to ensure my route was clear of creepy crawlys.
Nice views. Thanks
Nice views. Thanks

WOW, you really are up quite high here! A quick walk down the old road from the blacktop and a short stroll through the long grass and I had the cache in hand easily.
Cheers

Nice cache. Nice view from there, never realised it even though I've walked up there many times. Its also my first cache. Thanks
Got the geo-wife to stop by the church for this one. I scrambled up the embankment and found the cache after the 100m walk. Signed log and replaced cache quickly as we were on a trip west to the 'in-laws'

Nice view, after a trek through the long grass, we found the cache. I can't believe how many bucketts and bottle's there were laying around here.
Our GPSr was having difficulty getting a good fix at first, but we got there in the end. TNLNSL We took in the lovely view, and just as we got back to the car, a family of Kookaburras began calling from the trees in the field - seems they were just waiting for us finish our business and leave! Thank you for the cache and the view Acko!
#16 Nice outlook from this site and a nice area. Easy find.. took geo-family along for the hunt after Xmas get together at a local restaurant... yippee.

Found at 12:40pm whilst the Geokids were on the look out for any geosnakes in the long grass. The geowife caught up with her grand parents in the nearby grave yard. TFTC
I wandered down the hill to GZ looking out for snakes while admiring the view and when I got there I found the Cache within seconds. Nice spot, private but still easily accessible.

This was a nice & quaint cemetery. The long grass was very wet after all the recent rain so we got soaking feet!

What day not to do this cache would be Sunday we thought as we got closer, but gz was far enough away for Mrs R to do a lone run for this one bringing home the bacon in quick time as I rested in the car, it's hard work this driving you know
thanx for another quick cache fix

Well, not too many namesakes here, but found some Ligustrum and Grevillea with a cache nestled thereunder!
A little late getting my FTF log in it seems? Nice views from here we took out a toy car and left a toy snake, also dropped a coin Thanks for the cache.
