We were passing by this cache with macgyver08 who had found it earlier. At first he watched as the rest of us tried to find it. When we did not make much progress, he started giving us hints and then finally joined in the search. The four of us kept searching but finally had to give up. We enjoyed the spot and climbing all around the wonderful tree. We wonder if the cache has been muggled since the last find was recorded.
Found while staying at nearby camp.. What a great plane dunedin is... Thanks...

An easy cache, early in the morning! Most of the campers that parked nearby were still asleep... T4TC and greetings from Switzerland!
Went on a caching marathon today, trying to see how many we could get in one day. Number 11 for the day, nice cache. Thanks!
Today S-L-P (a.k.a cousin Sarah) and I attempted a bit of a caching marathon, the aim was to get at least 50 finds in 24hrs. Our efforts were hindered somewhat by a later than expected start to the day, meaning we missed out on a good four hours of caching. This cache is where we started our marathon effort (which hasn't yet finished, we are just home at the moment throwing together a few logs while we wait for a delicious pot roast to keep us going for a few more hours) so it was number 11 for today. We had a mega scrabble round in the bushes for this and had it stamped with our mega uber stamp on 17 January 2011 at 13:32:00.
Found on 12 Jan whilst on holiday. What a tangle - but we untangled ourselves and found it!!! TFTC.
Finally found it! Mind you, this cache is not for the stiff-legged, or stiff-bodied person. Flexibility is required. Nice wee hiding spot. TFTC!
Found with meekamax Wet day so easy find. Staying at motel not far from GZ. Here for national bowls champs. Cant play bowls in rain but can go geocaching.

Down from Chch to buy a boat, no luck on this one despite the whole family looking for this...wonder if it still here
Found on a sunny winter's Sunday. Plenty of muggles around, but none interested in me. Quite easy to locate. Would be pretty slippery when wet though. tftc.

Back up with new coords, and updated description. Would be better to access from the top, especially as the Ark has sailed away.
Cache owner needs to review location, co-ordinates and hints as they are very out of date.
[Glad to get this one off the list after many looks. An hour spent looking while Guwapo riding his bike in the neighbouring area.
The location of this cache needs some serious review by the cache owner, as commented on in previous logs. At the risk of providing spoilers to future searchers it is not at the published co-ordinates, it is a green container - not blue, it is wedged between trunks of a tree rather than hidden under leaf cover at gound level and it is a lot closer to the road than two thirds up the bank, as well as being nowhere near being between the described vegetation. If you want to go looking I'd start at the] retaining post [at co-ordinates S45 54.475, E170 30.621.]

Nope, I was out of luck as well: even using the clues there was nothing in that area. Perhaps a check for cache creep by the owner at some stage?
Ah well, thanks for bringing me back here. I did find an empty kid's wetsuit in the bushes. Do they grow new ones after shedding the old?
Cheers,
G.

Returned with Old Boots and entered from above and dropped bag where it wouldn't fall and moved down further to begin the search. Old Boots clambered around the most but we couldn't find it. Calling it a day went up to collect my bag and saw it partly exposed mere cms from my bag as I reached in to get it. Do not believe all the clues. Coords out about 10m. TFTC.
Had a good search within my physical limitation. GPS coords suspect. Clues are out of date.
It was quite easy when your on the right place. But you would probably get very dirty.
We had to bring a torch to see in the dark at night. You will have to go through alot of branches
to get it. Not much good stuff but now a lost pen to be found.

Found this some time ago, but forgot to log it. Was about this date I think. TFTC
Found from clue and google maps even though our gps is not on holiday with us.
Took TB and coin. Will find a nice new spot for them.

Tricky find until I ignored most of the clue and look around further afield. Dropped of 2x TB (The CITO Tag particularly apt for this location) TFTC
Hard to get into this one after a bit of searching ready to give up then found it yay
No. 463
Grabbed this with the kids after a serious bit of scootering...

Having spotted someone else finding this recently I thought I would give it another shot whilst in the vicinity. Was a quick and easy find as the cache had not been recovered and was in plain view near the top of the bank. When I opened the cache I thought it might have been a new placement - it was in such good order! I even checked the log book to be sure that I had the right one! Covered the cache again where I assume it was suppossed to be located. TFTC.
Finally found it after searching across the road in the wrong location.
Picked up TB & will decide where to place it soon to help with its travels.

[TFTC found at 3.43 pm] Found using the part of the clue which mentions top of bank. It was really at the base of a very large Coprosma![ TN SL left a yellow ducky]
Visited this playground without knowing of this cache so had to come back. Thanks, left TB
A nice big playground here with plenty of picnic tables. Good thing the place was not too crowded at the time of our arrival. Figured out where to look after a bit of head scratching. Nice driveby. Thanks us04 for the cache.
Visiting from Canada. No luck for this one. Lots of kids around, and we had no idea what a HEBE is.
2947. There were no muggles close by so it was an easy search and a quick find. We have always loved the set-up here - it is a mecca for children. It looks as if some changes have been made since our last visit and it is still very popular.
Thanks

Well, this one took us on a little detour up the dunes on the other side of the road before the GPS settled down - or at least before we stood still long enough to let it settle! Never mind - we got a nice view out to the sea. Annie did the scrabble down the bank with PB giving hints from above and soon the cache was found. TNLN TFTC
Not many people around for a monday. Certainly would be an easier cache during a normal working day when less people are around.
I found it no worries it was hiden under dry leaves one muggle was hanging out washing, but I was quick and he didnt see me. lol
This visit, no muggles. Vicky spotted the unconcealed cache just by looking down from the road. Left it fully concealed by leaf litter.
Arrived at GZ only to encounter an endless stream of girls running past, so couldn't even attempt the cache. There was Wonderwoman, and a cow, and girls in rubbish bags, and fluoro outfits, and facepaint, and cardboard-box-and-foil armour, and... Tardis Chick, sauntering along with a bunch of friends. It was the OGHS senior cross-country!
We went on a sunny afternoon of a long weekend with or secret caching weapon for parks - A TODDLER. After we preyed him of the swings, the slide, the tunnel, the other slide, another slide we left - too busy.
Back the following evening and found in 10 seconds flat.

Were intending to go cycling, but forgot the helmets! (Arrgh!) So we went caching instead, and had no success. Tried to find this one without the info sheet, and failed dismally among the unkempt shrubs and leaf litter and rubbish. Now I read the info, I see there is an explicit hint- we will be back.
Switched current container, now in a cammo 1L sistema. Updated information as the cache seems to have moved slightly (don't think it was tidal drift). Today was the hardest time we've had getting to the cache as there were a couple of muggles who kept going to play in the bushes whenever we went near the cache.
After a freezing cold long night at the nearby holiday park I found this cache. Easy find, first on my 2 week trip to NZ! TNLN, TFTC!
We stayed in the holiday park over night so ate our breakfast and wandered over to find this and have a stroll along the water. No muggles at this time of morning! TNLN Thanks.
Eventually found it this time, not an easy place to hunt for a cache when the park is full of people,
Thanks
