No response from owner. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
With no finds in over a year, and no answer from owner for maintenance, perhaps it is time to be archived
Due to structural changes in area maybe a check if GZ is still relevant please bar-bq ..
No finds in almost 12 months by 6 different cachers

OOP's a pattern developing here find, no find, find, no find...
Second DNF on this cache for me today...
Previous finder who I'm caching with today advises original cache location no longer in place (and is definitely different from my 1st attempt)
Ads cache hasn't been located by previous 5 cachers maybe a owner check may be required
Thanks bar-bq for the challenge

Great hint. Here is Where? We couldn't find it. Sorry but seems like this one is either so cleverly hidden it is alluding us all or perhaps it has gone AWOL. Thanks anyway. We had afternoon tea in the park and let geobub play around on her trike which she enjoyed.
We found two of bar-bq's caches today & thought we knew what to look for when we decided to give this one another go - and failed! This one will have to keep until some other time. Thanks for keeping us guessing bar-bq!
This one was not to be found by us today. Kidlets were not impressed Will be keeping an eye on future posts to see how others go finding this one.
unluck find today as searched everywhere no cache there, previous log two geo unable to find, please checking if still there or gone,.... thanks
Second try for this one. 4 of us spent nearly an hour looking. Tried to think outside the box. Used previous logs and couldn't figure out the clue. No joy for us today and we cannot think of where else to look. Will keep tracking this one and go back until it is discovered!
I'm heading back to NZ WITHOUT this one.
Phooey. We spent a lot of time at GZ yesterday . . . . debris, tree, other structures . . . reading thru past logs . . . . standing at a distance, stooping, but stumped. Kids did pretty well considering the frustration.
Will anticipate news from Smithzonians of a find on this one some day.
Thnx for keeping the standards high and not making them all a walk in the park.

No luck for me today. The tree at GZ was full of bees, so I think I looked everywhere else. Maybe not. Will probably try again next time I'm travelling through.
It's been 15 months since my unsuccessful visit to this cache. I've seen the icon on the map page often enough, but all the DNFs kept me from returning. Only recently, did I notice the replacement note. Today I gave it another go and came up with the cache after a very lucky event. Can't say much, or I'll give the game away , but I can say that I didn't look "there" last time. Ah well, you have to be lucky occasionally . TFTC
Ok this was more look outside the circle and not the square. Still read the plaque as a local slowed down as he drove pass. Interesting place and strange tree.
JABs.

I was a bit daunted when I approached GZ... started the hunt.. and eventually came up with the beast. TFTC!
The bean counters and i had no joy here..but now i am thinking mr bean actually saw the spot..we just did not realize it.
Might head out there tomorrow to check.Anyways ..and enjoyable afternoon caching with the oz_bean_counters..all three of them:)

Had a fairly good look - but no luck. I cant say that its not there though as I may not have brought my "right" set of eyes.
WARNING - There are USED SYRINGES and other drug related stuff close to GZ so please take care.

I tend to agree with L&LJ - Yuo've upset our run here Bar-bq...
& yes your Cache description is correct "The cache could be hard to find." turned out to be very very true for us .
Searched hi & lo but to no avail - but this one was not to be found today....
After 20 mins (including upsetting an ant's nest for real we decided to leave this one for a return bout.
Thanks for the challenge Bar-bq..(although 8YO daughter was not amused )

Curse you 'bar-bq', I was having such a good day, too. Gonna have to return with reinforcements, I think.
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga at 3:40pm. What a great cache. It took several minutes to track this one down. We thought we knew where it had to be but when we didn't find it there easily, we looked everywhere else and wasted a lot of time. Once we were back looking where we thought first, it was tracked down. TFTC
A very clever hide that was almost to good for us until we sat down and read the other logs. With the new information we attacked this one with renewed zest and came up with the cache.

Hmmmm - you won this round [^]
Spent about 20 minutes looking for this one, but gave it away as the light was fading.
We'll be back!

Fiiiiiinally found it. Very clever hide. It took me 2 visits and dealing with muggles. TFTC.
Sneaky hide. I had done my scan of where the cache was eventually found without finding it. Then kid J from KidzJCT said "what's this? Is this it? No its nothing"
I went for a closer look and sure enough. Log was a bit tight so had to use a tool for extraction.

As I got out of the car at gz some muggles arrived. Thought I'd wait them out which was a good call. Once they'd finished their smoke they were off again. Checked out all the obvious places before trying the leaast obvious. Very clever. Thanks bar-bq.
Yep, we got there in the end........ should have trusted the GPS in the first instance. TFTC
Yes, it is there. I couldn;t believe my luck on this one. Found GZ, squatted down and voila, spotted within 10 seconds. Not too often that happens and esecially not with a micro of this nature. Nice hide.
Sad story on the momorial though. What a tough life.
Cheers

Back to this one today with gerrynewgirl. I didn't even bother with the GPS this time as co-ords were good last time. With one hand on the bull bar, the cache was soon in hand. A clever hide indeed. Thanks for the cache and the hint!
Visited this cache with weroamin on a return visit, weroamin found the cache after a short search and I signed the log. Tricky tricky! I really liked this cache. TFTC.
Oh dear! I'll log a DNF this time even though I thought that I was on the right idea. I will be back............
Tis a lovely little park to take a break in
Finding the cache sounded like it could take a while so I cracked open a fizzy cola and donned the broad-brimmed hat for some shade
A quick look around
and no cache was found.
Time for a think,
as I sipped my drink.
With the mind doing flips,
and after many more sips,
I saw the light,
and had it in sight

Triumph! Found 1745hrs. Quick easy find however it is a great idea for a cache hide. Congratulations on your ingenuity. SL TFTC
Easy to find... not so easy to retrieve, but we finally got it! Awesome cache, looking forward to more from Bar-bq.

Entered into the book of LEDGIN'S. Took about 10 mins to get this one. Nice hide. Looks like I have been following Silky Seekers around all afternoon. Thanks Bar-BQ.
Surprise, surprise. another FTF. Pirate is slipping or is that sinking. Very good hide. Had a feel but was unsure until Mrs Diesel got hold of it. A bit more tugging and there it was. TFTC SL
