Logs

16-Mar-13
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

14-Jan-13
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every month or so to keep everyone up to date.

Search for a long while. We stopped because we knew it was allready a long time since this one was found.

Should have read the logs before going to search for this one. Certainly not there, or if it is, it is well hidden in the prickly bushes, which we didn't try to navigate.

01-Jan-13
We searched the area today and the cache is definitely not there. There have been DNF's on it since 2011 and the CO's caching page seems a long period of inactivity. This cache needs to be checked on quickly or needs to be archived.

04-Jul-12
Geo Girls were both going to Holiday Programme up North until Youngest Geo Girl said "Dad could I come caching with you today".

Well I thought that was great both that she wanted to go with me all day and I was flying solo today so I said YES.

I thought we would go along the Waterford Tamborine Rd today so we locked in the caches and off we went.

With 2 DNF's already we were hoping that we could track this one down despite the previous DNF and note.

We searched around for a while but unfortunately did not come up with the prize.

I agree it must hav been taken (Unless we have cache blindness)

Thanks bar-bq Maybe you could check it out when you're replacing The Lion Park

04-Feb-12
We tried for this one again today - any chance anyone could check if this one is still in existence? thanks

13-Jan-12
We did find a plastic "sistema" klip it lid and wonder if that formed part of the original cache. Few muggles around so we did not want to start digging around...

20-Nov-11
sorry about the delay, we found it acouple months ago, but geodaughter found it in the afternoon SLTNTFTC

03-Nov-11
Found the log book first, then some trinkets and then the container, neatly closed. Not sure where it was previously, but I rehid it in the vicinty of GZ for my GPS.

Quick find in a new area for me. No trackable in cache, I will post a note for the owner. TNLNSL Cheers bar-bq.

08-May-11
Sent eatmorchikin down for this one. If I had gone down I would have rolled down the hill and landed like a big fat pregnant beached whale. Luckily he found it and didn't call me for my assistance. TFTC.

22-Mar-11
After Geoff Philps it was good for the geo-hounds to free-range while we looked for this, especially as we came in the long way from the bridge.

Took Garfield in exchange for a shiny ring

20-Feb-11
Found today. Extremely hot today. Had big plans to do some caching but gave up after too long and went home for a swim. TFTC

20-Feb-11
We really picked a scorcher of a day to go caching, later found out it was the hottest day so far this year. This area is really set to boom. TFTC

31-Dec-10
Another find with fellow family geocachers. The kidlets were very excited to find this one, especially after being house-bound from the recent rains. Even though there were people living in the houses across the road, the cache was shielded & they didn't seem to take any notice of what we were doing.

02-Nov-10
Second attempt at this. Last one was back in Jan 2009 and I was muggled out by some kids.

Today I had the area to myself and found the cache in seconds.

The area has not changed since then. TFTC.

10-Oct-10
Seems to be a theme here as like Herbz, I too spotted this one on approach... Surprised Completely out in the open and I suspect the rain will continue to plague it for a while yet...

After business, I dug deeper and tucked the container in a little better. THen planty of natural camo to keep it out of sight but as I said, I think the rain will be a pain.

Nice spot here, thanks Bar-bq.

25-Sep-10
Nice little spot here. Found very easily. Picked up traveller to take to a geo event tomorrow. TFTC

A bit of a geotrail led us to this one. Container could be seen easily from path so we covered it up much better. Nice location by river. TFTC.

16-Jun-10
I remember when Logan Village was considered "a long way out". It is amazing to see urban sprawl at work. It is a nice estate, I certainly wouldn't mind living here (if I could afford it!). Thank you for the hunt. Signed Log. TFTC!

10-Oct-09
Ah this was easy. Am getting to know how geocachers think. No one could see us - below the road. Thanks and now where is that bar-b-q?

10-Oct-09
Found this cache on a nice afternoon outing to hunt for caches. Perfect! Shouldn't have to worry too much about muggles as the location is hidden from houses by shrubs. Thanks for the covering. That helped. Left a few trinkets. TN. TFTC.

30-Sep-09
Found at 1550Hrs. This one could become much harder as more people move into the houses that are being built across the road. But no such concerns today. The short cut is fairly slippery. TNLN.
Thanks Bar-bq

25-Jul-09

This is one of those, "surely it's not there, but it is" caches. Happily, I looked "there" first. TN/LN/SL. Some very nice homes around here, too.

25-Mar-09
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga at 3:15pm. Not too hard to find once at GZ. TFTC

01-Mar-09
A new development in Logan Village with some interesting parkland opposite. Mrs Ink and I walked down the steep sloped garden in search of the cache when we heard a scream followed by a blurred flash going past us. The oldest Mini Ink had decided to follow us down the slope and couldn't stop. She was last seen heading for the river. Big Grin

07-Feb-09
Wound our way through the streets until we found a path to GZ.

We ambled slowly to the cache, taking in the scenery as we walked.

Once at GZ, the cache was fairly obvious - as it was quite exposed.

We hid it better when we left.

No swaps - thanks for the cache

Second find for the day. Nice easy one. TFTC TNLN.

The last for the day. Yet another set of streets not found on my gps. Smile An easy find. TFTC

04-Jan-09
Easy find for this one because the path had been laid.

04-Jan-09
Followed what looked like geotrack through the bark and it led right to GZ.

04-Jan-09
I drove past and there were muggle children playing on the road and footpath close to the area so I parked around the corner and walked back on the low side. I got to within 10m without being seen but I could hear the kids no more that 10 m the other side of GZ so I aborted my attempt. Came back 30 minutes later and they were still there. Another day..

28-Dec-08

28-Oct-08
Not a bad little view from here and a pleasant short stroll to boot Smile
Approaching the coordinates I noticed some tell tale signs of others having searched before me. Scanning the area I wondered, where oh where would the cache call home ? Big Grin
There did seem one obvious place to search !! Maybe too obvious, so I ignored it at first Red Face
Will I ever learn? [:o)]
TFTC.

A fairly easy find after a bit of scrambling.

Triumph! 1755hrs. Took the attitude of a slightly longer walk and not risk falling down. Very easy find. I wonder how this area will go if there is ever a flood in the river again. TNLN TFTC.
