Having arrived at GZ and with previous experience at a past cache nearby, I was confident I could succeed where those before me had failed.
having searched high and low and followed the clue, I think this one has been muggled, can the CO please check.

If you have no response from the cache owner after 30 days then I'd suggest using a Needs Archive Note. Except for in the most extreme cases, it's normally best to give the cache owner a chance to fix the issue before alerting the reviewers.

Loaded this one on to my GPS from the map view but the last two DNF logs weren't on my device when I checked after two of us searched this site for 15 minutes. Rather frustrating.
We went to the bridge today and looked everywhere but could not find it.
I have sent an E-mail to the owner to see if they can check if it is there.
We had a perfect day to be out caching.
There was NO MUGGLES around.
The grass was very long but we got through it.
Just couldn't find it...May have been muggled.

Spent a while looking for this one, even resorted to checking field notes for further clues. The place is really overgrown from all the rain we've recently had. I fear muggle tampering we searched high and low for a long while
Finally was going past this one and there was no cars parked in the area, seemes like a popular swimming place under this bridge. Today there was no one around so parked and found cache easy enough while sighning the log a couple of cars went over the bridge it is rather noisy sitting there right under the road. Thanks to vk2nen
a short walk down the track and a pretty easy find. the cars driving over ur head was pretty cool TFTC
A nice quick find, a car went over head as we were retrieving the cache, it certainly gave us a fright.

Found with GrimRaider who helped me to GZ. Nice cache but scary went traffic went by - yikes! Left a silver car tftc
TFTC. Great book and movie. Thought the bridge was going to do like in the movie as cars went over! ??
We did this cache enroute to our new location. We have friends living nearby to this historic bridge which we are visiting so getting this cache was easy.
Thanks to vk2nen.
Thanks to vk2nen.
Had to come up to Greta to pick up a bike so thought we would grab some caches on the way.
Last one on the way home. A quick find but log sheet was missing and previous cacher lad left a slip of paper as temporary log. Had some printed log sheets with us so we put one in. TN left koala keyring and toy giraffe. Left just as some muggles arrived to have a swim in the river. Good day for it too. Thanks VK2nen

Found this one in a good little hidey hole. While I was there, I took my daughter down to have a look at the river and found a young couple on a rendevue Took a little figurine and left a button.
Found this one together with Enhaneuzig

0909 GAFF1 On way to Lithgow for an Event, from Taree. And having found Qrubicle thought I'd get least a couple in Newcastle/Singleton on the way through. Think the Terrain rating is fair enough!
Had a slight drizzle happening, but clear enough here.
Was hoping to get another one while in the area, but not sure on how to use the borrowed GPSr.
Through: Coins - 3Bros, AustLighthouse, Iconic Bridges, B2B ingot, Baa, Neigh and Oink, SummerLovin521TB, and trackable shirt.

Really enjoyed the pair of caches at this bridge - it is quite spectacular. It gave me quite a fright when I was close to the underside of the bridge and a car or two zoomed overhead. It was a gorgeous winter's day and the views from the bridge were marvellous in the afternoon sun. I also enjoyed reading "The Cash Man's" extra historical info about it. It's all very interesting.
Thanks for the cache, vk2nen.

Coordinates were very accurate and a quick retrieval took place. I didn't see the TB listed in the inventory in this cache. However, I did find something I thought was inappropriate for this family activity, so removed it. Thanks vk2nen for the hide.

Lots of people around. Looked like thet had accident. Will come back another day. Jobar29
I went past this one yesterday but there were too many people at the river to look for it so I returned today and soon spotted the cache location lucky I didn't try yesterday as motorcycle boots are not made for walking and climbing to cache would be out of the question.

We were invited up here to the hunter valley by the local commercial balloonists.
It was their 30 anniversary of flying in the valley so 30 balloons were invited.
A fantastic weekend was had and some caching thrown in was an excellent way to fill the day.
If this is the cache I think it is, when the car went overhead we nearly wet ourselves in fright. LOL
Cheers for the Cache.

Found it. Make sure you wear long pants and enclosed shoes as the weather gets hotter. Snakes love the long grass. Don't let that put you off, just make some noise. Oh, and make sure you walk down to the river. Lovely spot
Nice spot. Thanks. It gives you a bit of a start when a truck crosses the bridge!! TFTC
Great hide, interesting location. Very scary under there thanks for the cache
Followed the trail through the long grass and it led me right to where the cache was to be found. SL under the noise of all the traffic on the bridge.
Quick find ....TFTC Left my calling card.

This was fun. Geoteen took lots of photos while I looked for the cache. Great little hiding spot, although I got a shock when I heard a very loud noise all of a sudden. Great place for a cache. Thanks.
Lots of traffic on the bridge at 5pm that makes for an eerie feeling at GZ.

Tried this one before but even at 6pm on a Sunday there are workmen on the bridge. Used geodog distraction technique and retrieved cache. TFTC SL.
1st find of the day and of course Mr Stevens couldnt drive lol. Easy to find...TFTC...GO TEAM_STEVENS
This was our second one of the day on a nice caching excursion. No rest for the wicked - a worker was hard at it even though it was sunday. We all decided that Mr horsey would do this one solo, so as not to attract attention. Luckily there was a pencil in cache - SL. TFTC
Hot day, long grass, construction workers and black snakes. Perfect day for caching. Found quickly. Great hide. SL Thanks Left calling card
Reperio at 0630. After stopping by the nearby cache at one side of the bridge, it was time to stop by the other side. Parked a little further up the track and walked back along to find a small geotrail leading to the cache.
Gratias.

The kids got a DVD "Tomorrow, When the War Began" for Christmas.
Just finished watching it and the star of the movie is the Luskintyre Bridge.
Well worth a look to see the bridge being blown up and how they did it.
There is a special feature on the DVD of how they built a model of the bridge to blow up.

My 4th cache for the day. Found with dibbler2.Great view of the swollen river after the recent rain. Grass is a bit long getting to this one but there is a little bit of a path from previous cachers. TFTC. TNLN. SL.

3rd find for today. Definitely worth the view of the gorgeous rolling hills. TFTC!
thankyou for that the muggle that stole the logbook called me on my mobile no. at 3min past 12pm whilst at the pub and they were having a good old laugh with there drunken mates there may be a posibility of retreving some of the items fingers crossed anyway thanks again was going to have a look after getting the phonecall
Found the cache open & upside down under the bridge. The TBs and log were missing. We replaced the log in a zip seal bag & left a pencil. It more than likely has been muggled. We searched the long grass but could only locate a few small swaps. Have replaced the cache back in it's hiding spot. It's a shame that people who don't understand what we ate doing just destroy it. TFTC
it was nearly sundown as with debacno and geoteen we made a dash for this one. interesting spot! TN LN SL. TFTH
Here just on sunset with Wombatjo and her geoteen. Well the cars running me over were a bit scarey but managed to SL and leave Fraggle TB no sign of Waddler wombat who we had hoped to collect.
We were out getting some hours on the Geoboy's "L"s and we came across this Cache. It was cool to see that one of my Travel Bugs was it so I garbbed him to give him some miles. No swaps today

We drove past GZ to check out the area and noticd a tour bus of oder people parked on the other side of the river with cameras everywhere taking photos of the bridge so we took some time to tour the area and aloow them to move on before hitting GZ. Yes that is a very large spider but it stayed out of the way. We grabbed Snoopy TB left donsaur TB and swapped a pony for Kangaroo. TFTC vk2nen. [577]
Note to cachers..........walk along and then down, not along and then up, to find cache. Makes sense when you get there.
There are just too many high weeds and spiders to do the "up" route.
Anyway, after going in via the "up" route, and swearing and cussing and generally carrying on ( have I ever mentioned before that I hate spiders?? ) and battling man-eating spiders, and climbing a stone wall in very unsuitable boots, cache was found without dificulty.
Left TB wombat. TNSL. Left marbles and spinning top. Left via the "down" route. Much easier!! TFTC

Found this one whilst out for the day with the kids.
This is why I love geocaching, seeing place like this make it a great obsession.
I think it would have been nice to tell us a bit of the history of the site. It is always nice to be able to stand there and read about the history that you are experiencing.
The Luskintyre Bridge is of great historical significance. Built during 1902 – 03 the bridge was the largest road bridge of its time in the state of New South Wales.
So much historical significance that whilst we were there signs were being displayed about bridge closures so they could film a movie.
Thanks for bringing us here vk2nen
