Woohoo great hide - but also a great hint. Found after a short search with HRH54 TFTC- a favourite from us!
Hi there 202, we found your cache Coppabella's first cache at 14:29 today. This is day two of our Nebo power trail" experience. Were caching with Rainforest Cookie and Ratdog. Just like yesterday, our aim is to find as many of the Military" series as we can before we head out on our separate ways. To save space weve just written our initials in the logs. Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where our GPS said we should be looking. Cache Condition: Good. Regards Ian & Penny (Found and logged using Cachly).
A drive down to Moranbah with DiMorgan grabbing the caches as we go. A windy day and slowly warming up as we go. Thanks for the effort for placing.
We are travelling through to visit family and stopped here for a breakTFTC
We pulled over and checked the train coal carrier out. They surtainly have moved a bit of coal over the years.
well got the picture with the hint/ found and signed log at 13.15pm after a wander around, nice TFTC
Fairly quick find less than three minutes with having to watch the geodog without a female. TFTC Was good to have a look and read thank you
Found It!This took a bit of searching but after looking in all the wrong places, I got the right one and found the cache. At least it's not a nano despite what the description says!TFTC
Caching in the area we pick up a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
Enjoyed exploring the area, cache and contents were in good condition. A quick find on this one today!

I am travelling around with TBU1Bikesu.

Coongoola & Geodog are on an adventure after attending the Townsville Mega event in Qld. We found your cache today 3 May 2022 12:06 pm , while enjoying another day out adding to our tally. TFTC 202 and daBuzzard
Elpinstone to Nebo. Having a 3 night stay to resume our Military Series. We enjoyed reading the history of the various armed services as we went along.
We plan to base our selves here & head out to the various locations in the area.We have covered quite a large region in the area. Todays trip was visiting Moranbah area & a few more caches nearer Nebo.
When we arrived at Coppabeela we spotted where we had to look for a cache & thought this is goinfg to be a problem. We were able to locate the location where the hint suggested & not long after this we found the cache.
FP given
Thankyou 202 for placing this cache.
Day 6 of the road trip to Townsville to with LuckyL10n and today it was all about driving from Emerald to Nebo and grabbing caches along the way and then hitting up some of the military units series.
It was slow going at first (and this was expected) as we made our way along the busier highway, however once we hit Nebo and the surrounding areas, the finds were coming thick and fast.
Many thanks to all the cache owners....all caches found were in good condition.
Most logs were signed SdL / L Lion.

#13715 - 11:25:00 AM; Day six of the Townsville Mega adventure with Sol de lune and after spending a couple of nights in Emerald, we are now headed further north collecting a couple of caches along the way, as we make our way towards the Armed Services series around Nebo. Collected this cache as we made our way around that series. The hint soon had us in the right spot for a relatively quick find today. TFTC 202
We are zig zagging our way north with micaparamedic, Papi4506 & Geoturtle37 and are slowly heading towards Mackay today but obviously picking up anything else that turns up along the way.
We pulled up here and had we been playing tourist this would have been a fantastic cache but as we were playing geocacher today our hearts sank as we approached. We all spread out to different sections around gz and before too long micaparamedic uttered the mighty words "Got it" so all that was left for us to do was add our names to the log before returning everything as it was.
We signed as "The Vics" to save room in the log.
Many thanks for the cache.

Fun, adventure, travel, history, geology, mental stimulation, social gatherings, support and friendship are just some of the elements of geocaching.
Out and about enjoying the opportunity to grab a few caches, yours being one of those I targeted on my journey today. Thanks ??
Thanks 202 (F=63 H=12) for placing this cache and adding to our game.

Came across this cache whilst doing the series either side. Micaparamedic came up with the goods after we all spread in different directions. Thanks for the cache.
Micaparamedic chose the right direction and place to search as it was he that came up with the goods. Thanks for the cache.
Found by Mary and David at 10:25 on a drive from Moranbah to Sarina. A quick find and the hint made perfect sense, so a FP. Our thanks to 202.
Heading west from Nebo to Clermont today and picked up the rest of the Military series and other caches along the way.
A great day out with 16 FTF's and only 1 DNF.
Thanks for placing and maintaining these caches for me and others to enjoy.

I met up with Konie again this morning to continue working on a power trail. As we were passing by, we decided to stop by to make a find here.It took longer than it should have to find the cache, but we were eventually able to add our names to the log. TFTC
Arrived and said NO, a mirco on that. Read the hint, couldn't work that one out. Walked around and eventually saw something and the penny dropped. Stamped log and replaced. Thanks to 202.
TFTC,
We left Mackay this morning and are heading to Emerald and finding a few caches along the way.

Wow had to find and loads of traffic but I did do it at night shift change good hide signed and put back new log still good.
Have wanted to find this one for a while but never got to it. The mimi geocacher dragged me down and we logged it together. TFTC!
On my way home to the coast and thought i would pop in and try and get another smiley. This one has been on my to do list for a while and I am happy to have got it. Of the 3 possible hiding spots, I got it on the second one. There is a bit of room on the log but will need a new one soon. I will try and remember to bring one with me next time I go past. TNLN SL TFTC
Woo hoo! Third time lucky! This one has had us stumped. But finally got it.
May have converted a muggle, to become a geocacher!!

Hi there 202. While on holiday in Queensland we found this cache after a short search - and the container and log are in good condition. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to 202 for this cache - our find 7204
Travelling from Clermont to Mackay on our AdVANtures around Australia today, we paused at Copabella to get a closer look at how the other half live...
We drove all the way to the end of town to find the only shop and had a bite to eat, and after exploring a little, stopped here on the way back out to the main drag...
The info on this 'monument' was really interesting, and gave us even more perspective on the economy of mining jobs out here....
Once we had taken in all we could it was down to the cache - the "right" spot was found quickly, but it also didn't take long for us to assertain that there was probably multiple possibles, so we shifted perspectives each taking the opposite route round, finding another "right" place, and I was the lucky one to lay my hands on the cache quite quickly...although I was super surprised that what I paid my hands on was NOT a nano as described, rather a larger and common container. Regardless, my name was added to the log and the cache was replaced as found. Thanks for the hide to mark our visit to Copabella 202 and daBuzzard.

We came across your cache, 202 and daBuzzard, on our way with youngoldfella, caching towards this year's QOGM in Barcaldine.
Took some time and eventually a PAF helped.
Log signed and cache replaced at 4:32 PM on September 19, 2018. TFTC.

On our way to Barcaldine for QOGM 2018 and Caching our way there. Met up with RoddyC and Mrs RoddyC in Rockhampton on Monday and have been heading North slowly before turning west.
Stayed in Carmilla last night and today we head back towards Rockhampton a little bit and started the day at Clareview. A big day and had to back track about 100 kilometers cue to the Sarina Range being closed. So have to go to Nebo the long way via Mackay as RoddyC could not get autogas in Sarina. Oh well, those are the breaks. Tonight we are staying in Moranbah and tomorrow on towards Clermont via a very tour of the coal fields towns.
This took a little and in the end contacted the PAF network. There are three of these, Nippon 1965 Sharyo: on the railway wagon but which one do you use. Use the rock and reach for the sky.

Looked for it a year ago and had no idea what the clue meant. Left without a find. Returned with my partner today and as soon as i read the clue out he went straight to the hiding spot. Its not a nano, its a small.
Starting to not like nanos. I guess once we find one we will know what to look for. Concern is that the caches are simply not there
TFTC. On our journey north last year we had stopped to search for this cache and came up,empty. This year we stopped again and with a n]bit more searching we found the little blighter.
Hello Coppabella
The 'Entry Statement' is a good 'un [^]

The boy was looking forward to smoke now and having forgot to have it at the last 2 stops , this was the one to have it at. Who cares if we don't have a table and he left his hat at home , he can use the tailgate and should have parked in the shade, aye.
Ratdog sorted the hint so we started our search. Boy2 called "Got IT" nice one.

Looking for a 3,000,000th cache, well not for me, but for the world.
We chose to head west away from the rain and to explore areas some us have never been too.
Lots of finds, Lots of fun, lots of laughs too. A few DNF, wrong turns, oops and not going back moments were had but a fun day over all.
Its great to get out and about in our back yard with the Boys and Rainforest Cookie too. It was a big day where we covered may kms, used a tank of fuel, visited so many great places.

On no. Not another piece of large equipment. Really appreciate the clue. Thanks. Even with the clue it took a while. Don't go by GPS. Tftc.
This time would have to be my 8th search since 2012. And I've used 3 different helpers. Coordinates out. I've attacked this geocache with different perspectives each time. Checking previous successors comments and analyzing the hint. What am I doing wrong.
Geo hubby found this one on the 19th May while on a pajama day but I just noticed he forgot to log find. Lol.

YES YES YES, i finally found this one after many days and many searches.
I went for a drive with Geowife, Geoteen and his friend to check out the creeks with all the rain we are having and decided to keep going onto Coppabella, we had a bit of trouble with all the meat ants around but after about 15mins Geoteen's friend found it.
I am so glad i can cross this one off the list cause it bugged me every time i drove past it on the way to Mackay and didn't have time to pull in for a look.
