DNF; and of course now I see it has been archived, so it's good to know we didn't just overlook it. I hope you are able to replace it some day. It would be so nice to have a cache or TB hotel near the airport. I appreciate how much maintenance they can be tough! My husband ORNITH maintains the TB hotel near the Portland, Oregon airport.
Happy caching,

Disappointment -- no Cache to be Found and as my Wife, Queens Blessing, already commented, "Now, we know why!" It is great to have a Cache close to the Airport as they see a lot of use and give a chance for someone passing though to Nab a new location, maybe even a new Country!!
Strongly encourage a replacement Cache at the Airport. Perhaps the Owner could contact the authorities or one of the Vendors and get permission to place a "Meter Box" Cache (We have one in our front yard) on one of their properties?? It could go, quite easily, down by the fence at the start of the walk from the terminal or ??? At that location, there would be a slight amount of concealment for accessing the Cache and should not cause any security concerns. If not there perhaps the Meter box could go somewhere along the path to the Archived Cache (Near a fence, under a bush in the landscaping, against the foundation of one of the buildings with their permission, of course, at the Billboard base ????). What will your local Reviewer approve?? Whoever maintains the landscape for the area ought to suggest a place and perhaps even monitor its security on an informal basis. The Hotel Manager at the EMBASSY Suites at Portland International Airport in Portland, Oregon, USA, gave permission for the Cache to be placed in their landscaping and has been absolutely great about it being there It is enclosed in a 3-sided concrete enclosure with a bottom and is covered by a large landscape rock in the corner of the property. It is quite Active [GCKQXQ]!
Good Luck!!
Cache On and CITO as you Cache,

If you eventually decide to replace it, let me know and, if it meets the guidelines, I'll unarchive it.
I had a couple of hours waiting time at the airport and decided to give this one a last try. But no luck. Sad about all the TB's!
Had a good look for this one....however, i didnt have my GPSr with me and was going by the satellite map and description. I couldnt find it.
I live close to this cache, so if no-one objects I can head down this weekend and replace the cache.
EDIT: Haven't quite got to it yet. But will try to do so soon.

I was at the airport but the logs suggest that this one needs maintenance. Thanks to all the Auzzies for hidding so many fun caches.
I had a TB to drop into this cache, but given there have been a number of DNF's recently I decided to place in the TB hotel across the water. I hope this cache is still there, looking at the number of TB's that are listed as being in it. Perhaps you need to get and check it out Woyboys?
Cheers.

had a good look round but was getting late for my departure so gave up search.
no luck despite the clue.

This was our second attempt. Didn't log the first one as it was on dusk and we may have missed it. This time it was the middle of the day so no excuses.
I agree that it seems to have been muggled.
Woyboys please investigate.
Definitely needs a cache check. I went to the GZ. Had a good search around for possible locations. Found a suspicious pile of rocks near a tree but no find after extensive digging. If it is there, it's been hidden essentially by being buried or has been muggled/washed away.
I'm not the best at this game and was in a hurry but thought I had a reasonably good look. After the storm I certainly got pretty wet from the surrounding vegetation.
Didn't find this one in the dark, that may have been due to the many fallen leaves from the overhanging casuarinas, the lack of moon or the excessively high tide.
There was also some fencing and eco netting around what appears to be a new pump or something only a few metres from GZ.
It would be great if the owner could do a cache check, just to show me how unobservant I am. I'd hate to see so many trackables gone

The first of hopefully many caches on an overseas trip. With a few hours to kill until my flight I couldn't let a close by cache go unfound. Had a quick look through the TBs and coins but didn't take any as the weather was not too great. I didn't want to sit on an airplane for the next 24 hours or so soaking wet. It will be bad enough cramped up in that little seat with no leg room!!!!
TFTC! great idea!

This was a nice easy find and i must say i didnt have to park too far away. Didnt take any travellers but discovered a few.
Thanks
Thanks
Don't you just love airports with free internet - with 4 hours to kill I just new there'd be a cache I could grab in the meantime. Added bonus was picking up a few trackables to go on a trip with me and getting to leisurely sit in the sun as a browsed through what the cache had on offer!
Thanks for the hide - much appreciated!

Dropped of 2 TB's I've had WAY to long.
Finding the cache itself was easy.
Finding a place to park (other than the Airport carpark) less so.

Thanks Woyboys for placing this cache in an easy-to-get-to, secluded location. Hopefully this cache will have a long life.

Nipped out after checking bags in. Dropped off 2 TB's and picked up one. TFTC.
Found with the wandering womble woman after checking bags...took nothing as all TB's seemed to want to go to NZ! Last cache of a month travelling Oz and caching on the way...TFTC
We were camped across the river from this one waiting to catch a jet tomorrow, so dropped by to pick up a couple of travel bugs to move 16,000 km in one fell swoop. The river was beautiful in the early sunset. Thanks for the fun.
It was raining when I arrived and I already had a fistful of trackabls fresh fron S.A in my hand so no pickups today.

First of my lunch time caches, very easy find as the cache was partially uncovered but perfectly safe.
Took no trackables as not leaving the country and no new arrivals, however did leave the Sydney Eternity Geocoin that is looking for a ride to London.
Cache now well hidden again, TFTC.

First cache I've done in a while - we couldn't go to Oz and not grab at least one! Thanks for the convenient cache next to the airport. We took the Jack the Jumping Giraffe travel bug and will get it across the Pacific on it's way to New York.
It was a nice morning for a stroll along the Cooks River. With muggles walking past every few minutes in both directions though, we had to make a quick dash in and out (with plenty of diversionary “pictures†taken in-between ). TNLNSL Thank you for the pleasant walk and the cache Woyboys!
Dropped:
“Fruitville, United States of America†Unite for Diabetes Travel Bug
and, Geocoin Lord of the Rings

Such a useful cache . I dropped off Jack the Jumping Giraffe in the hope that he will get a quick trip to the USA and win the race!
Picked up the Travelling Euros which had been dropped in a hurry before gettting a proper tour of Australia so I'll see if we can find some nice caches for this TB.
I must say the instructions were very good and the spot was just gorgeous by the water on a sunny autumn aternoon.

After reading the hint, I dug through all the rubbish for 15mins. Then I decided to give up, so I grabbed my backpack and saw that I had placed it on top of the cache .

Good spot, but there was the occasional airport worker wandering along this path, and we felt quite self conscious loitering around waiting for them to pass. Most of the trackables in there are waiting for lifts to NZ, so didnt pick anything up, but dropped a couple off. One wanting to go back to the US.
on my way back to austria i had a short stopover in sidney. and how can i use my time better than go caching. easy find, thank you for that.

A much better hide than the previous TB hotel across the water. Still one needs to be aware of the security. Dropped a Diabetes TB headed for Denmark.
I finaliy stopped in to grab this one a nice easy walk from the golf club on a nice morning a quick easy find it seems as though some one has decided to keep my matrix coin for them self, very selfish I think thanks for the cache tnln.
Heading home to Brisbane after a week geocaching (& a few other things) in Sydney. Dropped off a Kiwi wanting to get to NZ.
Thanks for the cache so close to the airport.

#490 - Dropped in as I headed off for Austria. Bernie Gnome TB was looking for a lift to Europe, so he stowed away in my bag. TFTC
The Merekat Meanderers TB dropped in before heading to Europe. The journey was spent in the company of Bernie Gnome, Eucalyptus Koala and a few other TBs.
Found it... was after sunset. Not as close to the water as some of the other trees near there... so no need to look along the tide line. There were no TB's in cache.
Have added three that need to travel abroad, destinations:
- Jhemp's last chance ... China (prefer Beijng)
- Smiling coin ... Canada (Vancouver island)
- Bernie Gnome ... Europe (anywhere Gnome-like)

Went here to drop off our TB 'Laughing my way to Emil' which we had picked up in the Transit Lounge close to the Domestic Terminal. We reckon he will have a better chance to get to Emil in Sweden from here.
Picked up two TBs not listed in the cache: 'Boomerang the Koala Bear' and 'Euro on Tour'.

Found 7:30am arrived early to pick up the boss from Melbourne. Had a nice morning walk from "April 27th" which I was unable to do due to workman close to cache on construction site. Took TB-550828 Kurly Giraffe to start his Australian adventure.
After a few DNFs on our midday bike ride, Tina found this one in a much easier place than we had been looking in for the preceding 20 mins or so.
Did log duties in relative privacy and made some swaps. Took Gum Drop TB and My First Log TB. Left Sode Louise geocoin.
The following were not in the cache:
"Arcoverde, Brazil" Unite for Diabetes Travel Bug
For the Love of Caching Feb 08 GSC&P Geocoin

Back again to check on our Cache, and put lots more trackables in. Have fun, Woyboys
Happy to report that this one is alive and well. Quite an easy find at 1030 while visiting to put my daughter, son in law and Granddaughter on a plane to Canada. Left Marlin Finding Nemo TB, Only one other TB left in the cache, Blackbeard.
Thanks Woyboys .

#321. Found with Fred6603 before hopping on a flight back to Canada. Despite previous log entries, this was perhaps one of the easiest finds I've come across, we could see it for several meters away as it was completely exposed. Thankfully it hadn't been muggled. This was our last find on this trip to Australia. Unfortunately there was only one TB left in the cache. Fred dropped the "Marlin Finding Nemo" (TB5C5E) TB and I grabbed it to take to Canada with us. TFTH!
This cache is almost certainly gone or at the very least destroyed by water, Deputy Dog and I walked across from the park on the other side and spent considerable time checking under the 300 mm's of rocks above the water line but came up empty handed we checked about 15 metres worth of waters edge from the perimeter fence. The water now full of storm run off water has just about broken the banks in many parts, I'm all for a TB exchange that's muggle proof but unfortunately there's other elements that should also be considered prior to placing a cache, time this one was checked.
Dropped my Wife and Mother in-law off at the airport to go to America and started the free afternoon off with this cache.
Took nothing as I wasn't sure if they were coming or going.
Left Diabetes TB going to Brazil.

Found this one with Moneydork, Tofska and Rediguana during our Australian caching holiday.
No problem finding this one, and nowhere near muggles so should be a secure cache for the intended purpose.. nice one.

Good spot. Took Colorado GC. Left WWFM III GC. Hopefully someone will take it overseas to other Flash Mob events.
We wanted to put stinky skunk near the airport so we found this cache. Picked up TB as well. Nice area and we found a bikepath we might use for rollerblading one day. We will come check this cache out before we go overseas in a few weeks. There seem to be 2 in there that want to go to the US.
Per email exchange from previous finder, I understand that the Gotta Go Quilt has been placed in this cache. Hopefully I'll get to visit this myself at some point. Cheers.

Well thought this would have been my first FTF but was just pipped at the post. At least it was nice to meet up with a fellow Geocacher. (1/2 of andreaandcarl) .
This is certainly an excellent, unexpected spot and very handy to the International Terminal for swaps.

Was in the area doing my rounds of Desal pipeline works and saw this pop up on my email. So I closed down the my pocket outlook and fired up Oziexplorer and made a straight line for the cache.
I parked over near the entrance to the golf course and walked over the bridge. As I approached GZ I was getting the usual "am I the first" jitters. Scratched around and found the tree. Saw the odd formation at the base and I was soon CIH (Cache In Hand ).
Just opened the lid and I was sprung by Pipes-Down-Under. This is the second time I've meet up with a fellow cacher. Exchanged greetings and then it was down the business of signing the log.
