Have looked in every fork in every shrub around the spoiler photo and cannot be found! Hopefully no ones ruined this fun activity!
Up this hill again for an event.....Easy find this time as many pairs of eyes to help .
Many thanks....
Many thanks....
I was also here for the Lunar Eclipse event, so ducked into the bush with the others to make a quick find, TFTC
Up from Dunedin on a roadie from Auckland to Christchurch to get a good number of North Island PWGT caches and some others.
Out for a nearby event for the lunar eclipse. Had to grab this near cache as it will help with a challenge. A small group of us headed into the bushes and soon had the cache in hand. Thanks!

Found a container on the hill with only a log in it, no identification. This could be your cache, I covered it with dead leaves under a tree about 1/2 way up the hill right side. If you cannot find it contact me,PeLi8.or [email protected].
Managed to scale the "mountain" again without collapsing. Thankfully the new cache was there which was signed and replaced. Thank you for replacing and happy to change this blue to yellow at last.
Pretty sure someone's taken it. Looked in the spot, couldn't find it. Great view though:)
Nice brisk walk here. I'd like to comment on the accuracy of the co-ords as requested by the c/o but it was at the start of a morning of geocaching, so I can't really remember - sorry. I know that I didn't think that they were grossly out or I would have remembered that! TFTC
Took nothing left something easy to find nice steep walk up good views once at top

Have replaced in a slightly different location and added a hint picture. Should be a give away
Can users please comment on the accuracy of the new co-ords used an android app called GPS averaging
I found a rock with paintings on it, but it wasn't in a container and I'm not sure if that was it
The trouble with caches that have not been found in a while is the risk of them being muggled. If this is a tricky hide, then it just increases the risk of a DNF. Sadly the effort involved in climbing the hill and poking around in the woods just wasn't worth it. A good 20 minute search that could have been used on caches that could be found just turns up a DNF.
Found without a lid. Didn't have a replacement cache on me so just dropped in a new waterproof log. TFTC.
See Crusaaderwoman's log. While searching for this, we found it, quite by chance, on semi-open ground amongst rubbish lying about. The tin had the top missing...
We couldn't find a flax bush with a geocache, but found a mint tin without a lid in the open. The tin had a geocache log strip in it with the cache owners name on the top "psychrn" and the logs tied up with some of the 2017 finds. Signed the log and placed nearer a tree. Unfortunately we had no replacement container.
We found a brown lid but no sign of anything else for this cache, lots of rubbish hmm wonder if it has been deatroyed
We didn't find the cache. Perhaps it has been pinched, from being so obvious or maybe someone has moved it and hasn't posted the move
I have set myself a challenge for this year to have at least the same number of caches on each day of my calender as the number of years I have been caching.
Today the target is only four. This has to be the best flax bush I have searched in so have to give it a favourite point. BTW the views isn't too bad either.
Cheers for the cache.

A night mission to Hamilton with Philip.Perry and ApacheD. We only decided tonight to come over so didn't really have a plan of attack other than to start at one cache and just keep going for as long as we could. I did have a 7 am curfew which I made just in time then I sleeped half the day away. We learnt it's so much easier to cache at night no traffic no parking issues no muggles we had a fairly successful night and I look forward to our next night attack.signed logs PAD

An impromptu all night affair with no muggles, no traffic and all the parking we could want! Set off with ApacheD & Davidsonclan around 7pm with a couple of sneaky Tauranga caches before starting the 'Hamilton Assault' It was a productive 10 hours in spite of the weather & DNFs. Signed our logs as PAD to save time and log space.
Cache found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward placement. Unfortunately the flax is on its last legs so the cache is quite exposed - we thought about moving it but.... well that's not good form is it. Just letting you know, Cheers psychrn, TFTC.

Gorgeous view!! Was a bit hard to find as the flax bush isn't really a flax bush any more, but have moved closer to what is left of it

No luck. Didn't want to dig around too much, homemade bongs and used condoms made the area not somewhere I want to dig around.
I didn't rush the climb, but still had to stop a few times before I reached the summit. The hide may have migrated a bit sine I found it near the hinted at spot in an unexpected place. TFTC.
A climb to a beautiful view. Took us a lot of hunting but perseverance paid off.
Nice hide with great views. Once again caching has taken us to another unknown part of the city.
The end of 2015 saw us take on a big couple of days of caching. At the beginning of the year, we set a goal of reaching 4000 caches by the end of the year. Towards the end of 2015, it wasn't looking too promising as geocaching got put a bit on the backburner for us as life and things happened. Come two days to the end of 2015 and we realised we were much closer than we realised, so set off to Hamilton for some binge caching to reach that milestone! Today was a day with a lot of more DNFs than expected and less numbers than we wanted, but regardless, it still brought us that little bit closer to our goal.
A nice steep climb up, but the view was worth it. Quick find of the cache at GZ. Thanks for the hide!

in Hamilton for the holidays so found a quick cache. Nice view from the top of the hill.
Cool spot for a cache - nice walk up the hill and well hidden in flax bush. Very accurate on locator. Good work Floss who found it!
Was a nice wee walk today and a lovely view from the top. Cache found and signed but the container has a split in it.
original log seems to be missing, reciept in there instead. cache container has a crack down the side
Fourth cache I ever found hard walk up a hill but alot of fun. It took me a long time in a flax to find them.
Not so real fan of caches in the flax. But the walk was a real challenge for my feet today. Dogs didn't have any problem with walking up and down
