We have moved house so we have taken this cache off line. Thanks to everyone who has visited and provided our neighbours with much entertainment.
Found GZ despite my GPS playing up in this new
residental area. However, I was reluctant to enter a private property as
some watchful locals found my movements obviously suspicious.

Found @ 4.10pm #194. We weren't to sure about this one as we were driving up the street
We drove past GZ went yo the end of the street and turned around and parked,
got out of the car and walked back to GZ.
As we were walking by GZ we spotted something and quickly grabbed the cache.
Dropped off a geocoin and picked up some other trackables

Good one - enjoyed look at the photos of your. I wish I was there. Took TB and left some trackables. SL. Thanks Harlips
It's my 2nd attempt.. Finally with my daughter (littlecrank) Drop TB found it.. TFTC
This one was fun! A bit hesitant to go into the yard at first, but once we easily identified where to go from the car, it was done and done! TFTC
Feel uncomfortable to get on private property.. I will ask my friend to come with me to get there..
Nice quick find for a quick cache run in the area.
Joint find with Skip2992 and Bigea17
Always feel weird grabbing a private property cache - its harder to be unseen.

Found 15:10, we assume that harlips was not home as we were left undisturbed as we logged our find
TNLN, CSI=2, thanks harlips.
TNLN, CSI=2, thanks harlips.
Had a quick look around, street was fairly quiet but still didn't really like the idea of going into people's gardens. Obviously not bothered if it's the right garden but with my Iphone GPS jumping around up to 10m at a time, going into someone's garden who hasn't sanctioned it is definitely not a good idea. Looking at a few of the logs, had a rummage around in I think the correct garden before chickening out and giving up. Bah!
I presume this is the owners' house, but still question the legality as it's clearly private property. Easy enough find once you summon up the courage to actually trespass. Took Cow TB, dropped off a couple of small items. Thanks.
A nice easy find. we were abit worried about private property but we were lucky we didn't need to step onto the property. The neighbour across the road was busy renovating his caravan and didn't even notice us. Took Fox TB and Left Fihaki TB...TFTH....SL
In the area today to grab a few caches. This one has been on my list for a while. Not a lot of action in the street. Found the cache the first place I looked. Took coin, left Fox.
A fathers's day caching trip with geojunior today and this was the seventh of eight. It's always a bit daunting getting a cache from the front of someone house, but parked opposite GZ and could see where I thought the cache maybe. TJ went over and found the cache no probs. He was quite excited. Took Ben Bugs Slithering Serpent and left Indian Paintbrush Coin. TFTC.
Found this after doing a driveby first. Then went and logged on to geocache.com to read some logs. Realised the co-ordinates are correct and swiftly located the hide when I went back. TNLN TFTC
What a weird feeling getting this cache today. Sorry but I don't think I got the lid on properly as I made a quick dash when a child on a bike rounded the corner. I left the Benjamin Serpent TB as it seemed fitting, took nothing.
We have been looking at this one for awhile but always seem to run out of time to pick it up, but with an afternoon off work today and with the sun trying to shine we made a special effort to tick off a few local caches. The well hidden cache was located easily but with the dogs barking we headed back to the car to fill out the log and hopefully attract less attention.
Thanks for the cache Harlips, even though we missed halloween we still enjoyed this cache

Called in to see my friends the Harlips to drop of their Bushfire Geocoins. Stayed awhile and had a chat and a coffee or two. On leaving I pick up a geocoin from their cache to move along.
Found at 3.35pm GAFF1 - well it was almost the 31st! Went past GZ, noticed a possible hiding spot, looked around and there was absolutely no one around. So a second pass and a quick dive into the chosen spot and voila! a well hidden cache!
Would probably have been better in the night to add to the scariness, but it was good enough during the day.
Thanks Harlips - we gather this is your place, but it looked like no-one was at home otherwise we would have knocked on the door to say hi.

This is where the new version of Melways really earned it bread. Tomtom said park on the main road and start walking
We had been into this new estate before so we had an idea of where to go. Nothing is really straight forward in new estates though.
Nice Hide.
Thanks, Robmc.

Found on a quiet Sunday morning. I watched Rob Zombie's remake of Halloween recently - it's certainly worth checking out if you're into that sort of film!
Poor old TomTom didn't have a clue about getting here so I had to make use of a little common sense. I was surprised to find nobody out and about here this evening, not even the cache owners were at home! After asking myself "Do I dare"? a few times I bit the bullet and found the cache in the first place I looked. A clever spot, and I'm glad this cache has remained permanent.
Many thanks,

Found with ggkof on our usual Tuesday night caching conjunction. Last of 8 tonight. We parked a little away and walked quietly up the road, then quietly grabbed the cache, quietly logged it, then quietly left. TFTC!

Found @ 22:00 with davroy. Last of 8 tonight in the area. This was the first one I attempted tonight but it was a nightmare here with muggles in the evening around 5:30pm so decided to make it the last for the night instead. Spotted the likely spot as we approached GZ and cache was then in hand. TFTC TNLNSL
I pass here regularly on the way to the Mother in laws. More often than ever lately as she's been a bit crook. Anyway we'd stopped here before but someone was out the front talking then. (might have been you perhaps) Anyway it's now done. Still more to get in the area but I'll chip away at them as I pass by.
Thanks Harlips
Thanks Harlips
Kids burst out of the car, and we screamed "Don't look there - that's someone's house!". Several minutes later, after looking in vain, Mrs Harlips came out, told us the first place the kids wanted to check was OK, and it was in hand. Maybe the description should be changed to say "It's OK to reach JUST into someone's property to receive it", otherwise parents like me will never find it.
Took a skeleton, left some weird creature thing that we can't identify. TFTC Harlips, and we've now got a standing order to return next year

This was cache # 33 of 41 for the day in the company of Alansee on our Frankston,Cranbourne and Narre Warren tour, the cache was found at 1740. Glad to see this one still online, no trouble on this one although I wonder what the neighbors must think. My thanks to Harlips for the cache.
Both Hallowe'en and Christmas 2008 are now just memories so it is time to bid a sad farewell to the Nightmare Before Christmas Cache until Hallowe'en 2009.
Thank you to everyone who visited and shared their spooky tales.
We hope to see you again.

We have down-sized the cache to make it a little less obvious and messy. Feel free to collect as many tb and coins as you wish as it is getting somewhat crowded.
We found our 12th Harlips cache at 5:40pm as the final of 12 on our Mornington Peninsula caching afternoon. Well done, caches like this one always scare the willies out of me as I never know haw many of the neighbours are in the know. Embarrassingly, due to the location of the cache and not reading the cache page all the way through till logging just now, we have moved on quite a number of the coins which we should not have done. Please let me know how the best way to proceed. Sincere apologies from Rabbitto. Thanks for the cache from D & H B-A.
Footnote: On reading back through the logs it appears that although there were a number of visitors, no-one else is moving coins on.

I was out car shopping in the area today and figured I might as well nab the 3 new caches that had sprung up since my last visit. My TomTom has quite current maps - but wanted me to enter the estate via a road that no longer exists, so I had to resort to "manual control" until I was in the estate, after which it lead me to GZ with no problems and the cache was quickly located. The cache would pass for a TB Hotel at the moment and I would normally relish the large collection of trackables it held, but I had none with me to trade and I was a bit overwhelmed by the choices and I wasn't sure when I'd be able to move them on, so I just logged my find and didn't take any.
Thanks Harlips - I always wonder if I'm on "candid Camera" when I do one like this .

Find # 2632 and 36th for the weekend at 1:09pm Accompanied by Feathertop and Alansee on a weekend away for our "Not Drowning" phillip Island assualt. This cache took a lot longer than expected as we didnt have any maps of the area and we approched from the wrong side and couldnt find a way in, but after a bit of driving around we finnaly made it. TNLN, Signed Log, Thanx Harlips....
Took us a while to get into here including going to the same dead end twice! hmmmm.... A nice big cache and I already have a number of tb's to move on so didn't load up with any others. TFTC.
Last cache of the trip with Oenze and Alansee. We had a nightmare trying to find our way into this cache arriving at the wrong side of the tracks on a number of occasions!
Anyway after 30 minutes and many km's we turned into the street for our next surprise.
What a great sized cache and a good repository for a coupl eof coins I was carrying.
Thanks Harlips

Well, being big brave cachers, we decided to tackle this one in the daylight when there was no threat of zombies, witches, vampires, werewolves, fairy princesses or any general monster. However, we didn't figure that the daylight guardians would call up reinforcements when we arrived at GZ.
Not put off by their presence, we tracked down the evil box of horror, carefully rifled through it & were almost away when the crypt opened and the guardians sprung their attack. So we ran with defensive plan Alpha and managed to survive relatively unscathed.
Took Har's GeoPick Geocoin, TFTCSL.
Find #383 for Echo & Spice.

This is the second of two of Harlip's caches found today. Both within easy walking distance from home. From the location of this cache I am guessing we are almost neighbours.

Left: retractable key clip

Thanks for the fun afternoon, my son is enjoying "treasure hunting"

Well, we didn't make it for Halloween, but rolled up this morning to see the Swaggies and Hi Pressure already there. An easy cache despite Mr Swaggie's diversionary tactic. Harlips supplied a lovely cup of coffee, and we all had a bit of a chin-wag before heading off again to our various destinations. Discovered quite a few geocoins, took one (a geocaching key) and left our Truckie geocoin. TFTC and nice to meet you!
Logged at 1250 hrs.
On the way to meet Rigger64 and some others for an informal BBQ, we dropped in on Harlips and collected this cache. What a booty did we discover. We left our Swaggies Aussie 2008 geocoin, Riggers 100th find geocoin and collected a Micro GPS geocoin and a Bus TB. Also dropped our Geotalk coin in for a visit. After that Mrs Harlips invited us in for a coffee and a chat, which we did with Squalid and Hi-Pressure.
Thanks for the cache.

Found at 1900 hours. How lucky was I? Didn't even need my GPSr to find this one, no the owner did not tell me where it was. I was attending a party at Harlips, when I pulled up out the front, looked across and said to myself, there it is.No I'm not going mad, this is the geocaching way,(use the force hi pressure) you know it's there.Well I've seen the font of the house so many times, this was out of place.
Took skeleton, Left a strange looking unicorn & Leonies 16th birthday travel slug.

Had a great time at the party, Thanks heaps.

Dang It!! Went there around 5:30am this morning, not realizing it would be where it is. Poked around a fair bit and even in what I thought the clue would be referring to! As it was just coming into light and people were going to work, I decided to leave this one.
Mrs. went this afternoon around 1pm to find it.
Didn't quite get FTF, but should've. D'oh! Oh well, 2TF
Thanks Harlips for an adventurous cache, made me feel like a kid again hehe...took 1 little spider and skeleton for caleb.
Being from Texas, Halloween was always one of the biggest times of the year. And it was my generation that they changed "Halloween Holidays" at school to "Fall Holidays" so certain individuals wouldn't be upset at the Halloween reference. Sheesh!
Since I've been here for 10 years, it is pretty neat to see Halloween being more and more celebrated even if it IS a marketing ploy from candy companies!

I noticed this cache had come online this morning and decided to jot down the details. Around 9.30am I was fortunate enough to be passing so after a few minutes of struggling with the Colorado I was able to enter the coordinates.
Fortunately the works were away from the cache area and after parking as close as possible to the cache I was unsure if I was in the right area.
I decided to wait for the guard to move away but he seemed intent on just sitting and watching the views, however after a few minutes I was more than confident that he wouldn’t see me and I quickly grabbed the cache log book.
The bonus for this cache was a nice FTF and a cache stocked with goodies and coins.
Many thanks to Harlips for another great cache and a excellent theme, unfortunately I didn’t have any swaps, but did grab a coin to move along.
