Had a look, but missed this one. Thanks anyway...

US14 ET Highway Trip with Sol de Lune and Mtrax. Day 6. Based out of Twentynine Palms for the day we set out to attack the HMD series as best we could. A dust storm restricted out eastwards starting point, but we still had a solid day along this road, even though the edge was pretty soft most of the time. Having finished the HMD we could get to, it was time to spend the afternoon caching around town. Quite different from all the desert micros. Feeling a bit exposed, we had a look, but not in every nook and cranny. I hope it is there somewhere. Thanks.

This certainly wasn't where I expected it to be, but after investigating several spots that I thought were likely, all of a sudden I was looking right at it. It likely would have been easier if the rain hadn't wiped out all the cacher tracks that must have been there before me. At least the shipwreck itself didn't float away. Smile

Thanks for a nice hide, and some Gilligan flashbacks, In Pursuit of Cache. The log is prety soaked, though. I think I managed to make a discernible mark with my Sharpie, but it needs a good drying out and probably a new container, this one has holes in it.

After finishing the Heart of the Mojave series with [red] Red Ryder [/red] over the past two days, we decided to grab a few local caches then spend the day enjoying Joshua Tree National Park. I really enjoyed our day and was surprised by how beautiful the rock formations in the park were. Thanks In Pursuit of Cache for adding a smiley to my day with your cache.

Having finished the HMD Series, [Purple] BoydChicks [/purple] and I decided to make day 3 a leisurely cache run around 29 Palms before heading to Joshua Nat’l Park. This was our first time to this Nat’l Park and was blown away by the sheer beauty and diversity of the area. While in the Park, we took time to enjoy the many virtuals within the park boundaries. Thanks In Pursuit of Cache for adding a bit of fun to my day [^] Glad the coords were good as the cache wasn't where we expected.

Caching the day away with Team DNF 999 members actualsize, Hmnbrdlady, jshults (Rally Dude), and Smoochersmom. Interesting sights in the desert. And there we were singing, ""The weather started getting rough, the tiny ship was tossed..."" Big Grin!! SLTNLN -- thanks for the fun, In Pursuit of Cache…

Day 7 of the great western adventure.
Today was a light caching day around Twentynine Palms.
Most of the caches were easy hides, while a couple were not found.

Interesting hide. Fooled by all of the beacons.
