I am archiving this as there are really no redeeming features in this area to make it worth while visiting except for another cache-so am freeing it up for someone else with perhaps more imagination to have a go.
went past-yes it is gone -trees cleared etc, why?? who knows. will replace soon -somewhere close.
If I happen to beat the owner, I'll check up on this one when in the area. Shouldn't be too difficult to find.
Encountered the same situation as the previous log, branches everywhere!!! Searched for about half an hour then had to gave up. Could you please check on this one.
We pulled over here on the way to IKEA but a quick survey of the GZ revealed this would be no park and grab. Seems gardening crew have cut lots of lantana and dumped it in piles. The cache could be underneath them or not, but without decent gloves on, we were unwilling to explore for very long, I fear. Perhaps the next party will be better prepared. TFTC anyway.
Didn't spend too long looking today as we were dressed for a Christmas lunch and didn't want to get too dirty. Well try again another time. TFTH.
What a great spot! Cache was out in open but suppose that was good seeing the grass was so high! I did sign log and I put in the log that we left a cup from Holland but I was a bit premature before I actually tried to put the cup IN the cache! DoH! Blond moment... Took TB to move Overseas! TFTC!!!!!!!

I went past and removed an old cache which was basically unusable. Not sure how it got to this location.
Should get you to the correct location- The clue is still the same

#310 - Eventually found the cache with 2 Shadows. Was very disappointed as the cache was extremely wet and the log book was a soggy moush so we couldn't sign TFTC!!
This one took a little finding. The cache was very wet when found. The log book looked new but was very wet. We were not able to sign the log. We placed it back in its original spot but feel attention is needed asap. TFTC.
We were right on top of it, so close - yet unable to find Will try again one day . .
At long last I have returned to fix it. Although the name no longer seems appropriate ( the adjacent bat colony has moved on) I replaced the cache if only to view the turkey mound and if lucky to collect a feed of passion-fruit which are growing a bit wild in the area.
Well -it took me long enough to check this out-It is definitely missing in action-There is a large Brush Turkey nest about 2m away-I am thinking it is in amongst the treasures found therein. I did manage to collect a whole bag of passion fruit from here though.
I will now replace ASA Practicable.
I will now replace ASA Practicable.
Till I get to do a check. Rain does that -make things grow rapidly and hide caches.
Had a really good look around. Grass and canes were chest high but we battled through to where we thought the cache should be. Checked 3 possible sites and ground between ( when we could see it!) but nothing like a cache container could be seen. Suspect this area has had a lot of rain, the ground has been washed clear especially around trees. If there was a cache here it is either (1) gone or (2) buried out of sight. The area is not very welcoming, overgrown with lantana, thick weedss and long grass. One positive was the wild passionfruit vine we raided for some big fat passionfruit. Could be time for a check up visit to this cache by owner?
Radnoski suggested I find this while we were in the area. My GPSr was pointing off in a different direction but I came up with the goods. TFTC Culture 50
Found by Mary & David at 1705. having read Quasar's log, we were a little apprehensive, but nobody else appeared while we were there. Thankfully a quick find. Our thanks again to Culture 50.
Oh lantana how I love thee... GPSR was laughing at me for a few minutes.
Tracked it down. TFTC

I could hear why this is called halloween.... just couldn't see them.
Took a bit of searching, so was glad when I finally found this one.

Well...this should have been an easy drive by cache. I had just finished working at Logan Council and changed into my casual clothes, then saw this cache near the road and decided to grab it on my way back to Brisbane. Stopped on the side of the road and found the cache easily, was just putting the log back in the container and two police approach me from behind. They escorted me out of the bush and gave me the third degree about what I was doing there. I had to provide all my personal details, including a next of kin and contact who could vouch for why I was in Queensland! They searched my bag and questioned me about all the swap items I had. I don't think they believed me that it was a harmless game! It took about 20 minutes and they phoned the report back into the office, and rang my council contact to confirm my identity! I've never been questioned that hard when geocaching and really thought they were going to arrest me at one point! I wonder if this location (which you must admit isn't the most scenic!) is a known place where people do drug deals or even grow drugs? Anyway, it made an otherwise boring cache quite interesting! After all that, TNLNSL - thanks!
Charlie and I are here from Oregon, USA, touring the east coast in a camper van. Q&EZ find after a short walk. TN L-Celtic good luck charm TFTFun
Found it ok - but no sign of the James Cook Coin
T - Traka Bulldog TB
L - London Bus TB
Got a strange look from a Truck driver who saw me come out of the scrub, but when I said 'When you gotta go you gotta go' he laughed and didn't think anything of it...

Got this cache OK. Two geocoins listed as being in the cache are not there. I left 'The Dog' TB. TFTC Culture 50.
In Logan for Softball Masters... The trail is indeed convenient. Cache was hardly covered so I placed a few more leaves on top. Took the TB. TFTC
revisited and put in Pilsen Geocoin PC8R8A I picked up from the owner in Czech Republic. Please make it travel to as many countries as posible!
Very handy trail leading to the cache. Lots of animal noises in the bush but nothing too scary.

We were finding it hard to find as GPS had us to the south of actual GZ. But as we spotted muggles entering the area we had to abort the mission and in doing this almost tripped over the cache
Waited until muggles left and then resumed the mission.
Took Tiki TB and left Karloff's Signal TB.
Thanks for the adventure, definately got the blood flowing

Had to drive up to Springwood so we took the chanch to look for the cache. With a quick dive in and find to add to the list. No locals around this morning. TFTC Left Good Luck Tiki TB and took nothing. SL
Found after a quick search while collecting info for a new cache im putting nearby. left james cook GC. TFTC
A nice quick drive by while in the area. I was at the nearby furniture outlet a couple of weeks ago and was going to grab this then, but it was raining and I had less than enthusiastic inlaws in tow...
Today was a perfect day for hunting and I had this in hand nice and quickly. I grabbed a couple of TBs that are not in the inventory.
Cheers Culture50.

Just driving to nearby location . . . GPS shows a cache is near! A glance and a nod and we're off! Thanks for the fun diversion in an otherwise gorgeous day!
New to caching. Nice to find one at a place we pass almost daily. TFTC. Saw no bats and that's quite ok!!!
No sign of bats on this bright, sunny day. Found the cache surprisingly easily, though.
Took glowstick, left snow boarder. TFTC

Out and about today with Mrs HappyHarries to nab a few caches while the kids are at school.
The 'locals' were not too happy about us searching for the cache in 'their' vicinity. Once we located the cache we could not get out of GZ fast enough.
Thanks for the hunt (I think) Culture 50
Cheers,

Out today with Mrs K-six. We were glad to be visiting this cache during daylight hours. However the residents were not so impressed with our presence TFTC.
DNF today as there were hundreds of brown and black bats squawking and fighting overhead and squirting everywhere; not too healthy an area, I would have thought.
Found this after a short search, plenty of flying foxes in here today. Some even within a few meters of GZ. TFTC.
Found just on dusk this arvo, had a little trouble finding it at first but cache was soon in hand. There were plenty of the local inhabitants about, and they were none too happy to have us amongst them. The kids and I were interested to see them though. [^] TFTC
Found this one on a day out with QldFlash & Co. TFTC

Found this one one a day out with Snowflake& Butterfly. Had to get out of there as the Geobrat was going batty. TFTC
Entered into the book of LEDGIN'S. Could smell the animals. Not too bad but. Of course I disturbed them when going for the cache. They were not happy. Cache is still dry after the storms. TNLN. TFTC.
Well I never. I have ridden the pushbike past here numerous times and never noticed the inhabitants before [:o]
Walking along the footpath this morning they were hard to miss though. Just a few metres away were hundreds of flying pumpkins
I tip toed in toward the cache location so as not to disturb too many of the residents and filled out the log book with one hand while holding my nose with the other [xx(]
TFTC and fun.

As I walked in, I felt like I was being watched. And what was that odour. A movement above me had me ducking but then I realised what was going on. They weren't all that happy. A short hunt around and there it was. TFTC
When I walked to the closer cache... I noticed something up there were flying.. I looked up to see what are they.. aahh. fruit bat. There were heaps heaps of them. Damn didnt bring my camera.
Thanks for bring me here.

Found this one with gerrynewgirl as an elderly couple were disillusioned with us disturbing the colony. An easy find and good co-ordinates. TFTC TN left token.
Arrived at GZ at the same time as a muggle couple who had come to photograph the batmen. Whooa, the colony took flight as weroamin and I began our search. weroamin found the batcave and I signed the log. TFTC.
Yicky, yicky, lol........... a quick, careful grab while caching with Claeton, TFTC, SL.
Packed the 'wet-ones', waterless soap, paper towels and didn't need any of it. I can see how it might be necessary though. Mrs Lat&Long hates these places, so I think I'll just tell here about this cache [:X]. TN/LN/SL
A joint expedition with Smeeagain in to the wilds of Woodridge resulted in hundreds of scared animals one cache and two pairs of soiled shoes which we had to scrape off before getting back in the car

YUK!. Luckily I didn't take long to find the cache. I didn't want to hang around for too long.
TN Dropped in GIN51E's Aussie Coin to enjoy the experience. Hope it doesn't get too dirty.

Well it was the middle of the day and I was still spooked !!
I saw the cache being published last night and I was sure quite a few visits would have been logged,
but 17 hours later when I arrived I was plesantly suprised FTF
