As there's been no cache to find for some time, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

It hasn't been found since April 2009 and the owner hasn't visited the site since December, I think this one is goneburger.

Unfortunately this cache has been muggled and no sign of it -will aim to have it replaced and up & running again by the weekend.

As I am logging late, I see the reason I couldn't find this cache. Spent a good 20 minutes here - people's 1st caches sometimes have some very poor coords as they are only just starting out, so the search area was therefore significant. Got the cache name about 10 minutes in, but - as we all now know - no cache. I think I know where it used to be, or at least I found a good spot for it Big Grin. Pity it was gone, I was determined to get it so spent some time! TFTC.

We were flagging after a days caching on a hot norwest day and were ready for the homeward journey back to ChCh, but a cup of coffee revived us sufficiently to get a few more WPs of a couple of multis, and find this excellent cache. (Was really slow with understanding the name).
TFTC.

Yep - good name and hide. I was worried that one of the cricketers would get a bit suspicious of me... Interesting that there are 2 ways of replacing it - I did it wrong a couple of times, and it fell out. Maybe could do with a nail? TNLN, Thanks.

Easy to find when in the hands of a fellow cacher who arrived a few minutes earlier. An unexpected bonus on a night out with fellow cachers attending the Great Southern Sleepover caching event.

2319. This was a bonus cache that we hadn't been expecting. It was good to be out at night with a large group of cachers - something that only comes every now and then. This was a cleverly hidden cache that we appreciated.

Thanks

[Nice little hunt. Left the GPS at home for this one but found it reasonably quickly anyway.

Went off on a bit of the wrong direction for a start. I took what Mrboss said a bit far.] He said something about getting it down so I climbed up the trees and was dangling from their branches trying to see the middle. [Some passing muggles made us quickly duck out of sight . . . . I saw a location and thought 'thats a good place to put it' . . . .and there it was.

A great cache for your first placement.

-Geocoin ( I will take it to the up coming event this weekend)]

Found it with simpsonsrgr8 without too much trouble considering the search was spur of the moment.

Would have found it earlier but have been in Auckland for a week. Perfect day today so headed out to find it. Swapped geocoins. Well done for your first cache, I like the spot you found.

STF - well that will teach us for not checking out notifiaction emails properly! Almost a week to logging a cache practically in our very own backyard. This is a very good hide and it required determination to achieved success. TNLgeocoin TFTC

Well, well, if no one else wants it... I Claim the FTF Big Grin

Got up this morn and decided to call in on the way to work, on the off chance no other locals braved the dark for the ftf. I actually saw the "X" clan last nite as they were on their way to place the cache (I was checking a new version of my Wherigo). They did a good job of covering their trail as I headed off in the opposite direction to them. Upon reading the listing last night I scatched my head for a few minutes trying to think of the significance of the cache name, then the penny dropped [^]. Knowing the area reasonably well I knew it could be hidden in one of numerous locations. When (in the morning) I arrived at GZ I knew there would be a sizable hunt ahead of me Surprised So I hunted "High and Low" for about 15min before finally laying my hands on the cache Smile Thankfully being 8am the school kids hadn't started making their way through the area. This is certainly going to be a highly muggle populated area at many different times of day and week, some luck is going to need to be on your side.

Great first cache hide Smile I look forward to the next. TFTC
