As there has been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it has been a number of months since the last owner note I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact a reviewer (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every month or so to keep everyone up to date.

We revisited the cache area today, as were we passing by the location. Had another look around at GZ, and nothing. As the CO has not been active since July 2012, I suggest that this cache be archived.

After much searching, we were unable to find the cache. Looks like it has been muggleded.........

Search for over 45 minutes. Then we gave up.

12-Oct-12
Okay, GZ had me in the centre of the grass between a tree and a garden. I checked both well and nothing. I thought back to the logan village cache and relooked, noticed what might have been a spot for it but nope. looked and looked and looked. Checked the buildings and the bbq. No luck for me today. Oh and also checked the pine tree further away. Dog clue made sense for possible spot that had nothing on it.

Found it due to helpful hints from logs only. Gps was out, not a mint tin...tricky little hide though. Didn't get the "dog" hint either?? TFTC

Geo Girls were both going to Holiday Programme up North until Youngest Geo Girl said "Dad could I come caching with you today".

Well I thought that was great both that she wanted to go with me all day and I was flying solo today so I said YES.

I thought we would go along the Waterford Tamborine Rd today so we locked in the caches and off we went.

We had success with our first 2 caches and this one was just around the corner and down the road so obviously our next location to go for.

We approached GZ by a very circuitous route to avoid the low ground which was full of water.

We searched around then moved a different area then expanded our search all to no avail.

So we honned in on the original GZ, we looked some more till we spotted the obvious spot where the cache had been, so then knowing the style of cache we were looking for we searched around the area again.

Unfortunately we had not luck finding it but I am very sure we had the right GZ so the cache must have been muggled or dislodged and picked up as rubbish.

Sorry bar-bq TFTH We will try again next time we are in the area.

Found it & the Travel Bug.
Travel bug now on its way to Sydney NSW Australia

24-Dec-11
I got a little distracted by the "attachments" that the previous finders had referred to and searched all the wrong places for a bit.

I looked up the hint and had a bit more of a look around and surely enough there was a nice sized cache waiting to be found.

Thanks for the cache bar-bq. Nice one.

I dropped in a travel bug so that it can continue it's journey.

03-Dec-11
Saw the attachments where it had been, thats if its the same as Village Bend, andfairly sure it has gone.Sorry.TFTC.bar-bq

I am a glutton for punishment.

After reading all the previous logs since my last DNF (my second on this one) I decided I must be blind and returned for another search.

After 15 minutes I still had not found it and resorted to a PAF call. After ringing 2 friends and not getting either of them I then looked again and found the sneaky hide.

I have since heard from both the friends and they gave different descriptions for the cache. It appears that the old cache is still in place as well as the new one so there are two opportunities to find the cache.

Glad to get this one off my list. Thanks bar-bq for the intrigue.

Smile TFTC. Nice easy one - how handy a pub across the road. LOL - we bought pickled onions instead.

19-Oct-11
Yep, you're not looking for a mint tin. This is a screw top container. Found this cache on a nice drive in the country. We spotted the likely spot and went straight to it. Thanks for the cache bar-bq. We see someone else was there the same day as us. We didn't see anyone except a lady leaving the park just as we arrived. Maybe - ??
We saw a pet pig in someone's front yard while out here for this cache. While we observed it someone arrived at the house and opened the front gate. The pig took off down the road. It was the hairiest pig I've ever seen. Do hope the owner got it back, or that it found it's own way home.

19-Oct-11
Must have been distracted by the clue last time and spent too much time looking for where I would hide a mint tin. Brought TLJL with me this time and the cache was soon in hand. Funny looking mint tin tho Wink

Halleluja... After reading a hint in one of the previous logs, I swung by for another look in the company of Kaisho53. I followed a lead and headed to where I thought I might find it and voila, there it is.

Kaisho53 was keen to point out that it was not there when he found it... Must have been the early days I guess.

Glad to have this one ticked off... Big Grin

This was a cache that we couldn't find a couple of weeks ago but after successfully finding one of bar-bq's caches today, we remembered something that we saw on our previous visit here that was identical & decided to give it another go. The cache was not where it should have been but on the ground under some grass clippings so we placed it back in its rightful place after signing the log. Thanks bar-bq for another great cache.

Aaaaaarrrrrggggghhhhh...... Enough Said.

15-Jan-11
Not a good start for the day. Searched for quite some time without any success Sad How could something so simple be so difficult to find? Will have another attempt at finding this one some other time.

02-Nov-10
Like gunnie69 before me this is becoming a nemesis cache for me.

Second visit years apart and still no find. For a cache which others find in seconds I wonder what the difference is in my approach?

The facility over the road was doing a good trade today as it was approaching start time for the Melbourne Cup.

Probably a couple more years before I get to come back again.

10-Oct-10
Grrr, my second attempt at this one and another DNF. Why does a 1.5 / 1.5 continue to elude me... Red Face

It was raining on and off as I hunted this morning and after about half an hour, I gave it away. Coords put me in the middle of the grass. I tended to stay away from the garden bed this time in the hole that this cache resembled some other bar-bq containers. I guess that was probably not the best idea... Twisted

Almost two years between visits. No idea when I will be in the area next... But, I will be back...

25-Sep-10
Found this one after a fair search due to co-ords having me about 10m out. Might also be worth noting that cache is no longer a mint tin. TFTC.

Bought some unhealthy lunch, found the cache and made a picnic of it. There were a lot of drinkers on the pub verandah, so I was glad to have an obvious excuse to be hanging around in the park. TN/LN/SL.
