This will teach me to check the most recent logs before leaving home! Visited Hobart from 8-12 November (only for the seafood, of course) and couldn't find it on several attempts. Get back home and find it has been disabled. Bugger! At least I don't have to subscribe my failure to personal incompetence ... this time!
Hmm...someone obviously doesn't like this cache being here lol. WIll disable it until I can change it to a micro and find better spot.
Couldn't find it. Got fish and chips from the wharf and stationed kids on the bench to munch away while I hunted every time there were no muggles (this is the hard bit in such a busy area) but couldn't find it. Feel like I am missing something obvious.
A bit late with the DNF log, but as there have been another couple:
The kids and I searched for some time with no luck.
HArd to find a time when there isn't a car, or kids on the swings, or a schoool group, or residents looking out their windows, or pedestrians....

No luck for us here today. Even with four pairs of eyes checking likely hiding spots, and consulting the hint, we came up empty. Still, it's an interesting location. Our thanks anyway to Roehm.
This was to be our second cache of the day with maccamob on our Hobart and surrounds tour but unfortunately we couldn't find it. There were a few muggles passing through at times but we still had enough time to give what we thought was a reasonably good search. We hope that it was only us today and the cache is still there
On my way back from the nearby TB hotel I stopped off just to get this one and have a rest on the very nearby park bench while waiting for a pair of muggles to leave. As I sat there out from a house close by came a slightly inebriated local. Being in a friendly mood I started up a conversation with him and ended up stopping in his house to see his two dogs, wife and friend. Most in similar condition. Well after being nice for a short time I made an excuse that I had to meet friends at the hotel I was staying and out the door I went. As soon as I got over to the park and was just getting my GPS fired up he came back out of the house. O well perhaps I will get up early tomorrow morning and try again. I am in the area on business for only a few days. Thanks.
Sorry, sorry .. just catching up on our logs!!
What a fascinating trip back into Tassie's early settlement this one was! A fascinating 'Village Green' and we thoroughly enjoyed the history of this area. TFTC

Took company to act as tourists! Easy find in a lovely location. TFTC. Took 4 leaf clover Left car.
Oops, saw the cache from some distance away... Tried to hide it better when I left. Cache container and contents in good condition.
Nice location, not much traffic and no muggles around when I was there. Beautiful spot to sit and relax (and log, of course), thanks for bringing me there.

Had to wait for muggle to leave. Cache is in good condition - Nice and dry - Signed the log. Left Canada Pin. TN Thanks For The Cache.
Didn't realise it was disabled......found it.....couldn't log as didn't have an underwater pen!!!
Cache still present but soggy as anything. couldn't log as didn't have waterproof pen!
Nice little location and worthy of the cache being fixed. Didn't realise the cache was disabled to allow for maintanence when I went back with some Jnr Geo's!

Find #27 on our Tassie holiday. This is a very busy little park in a very nice setting. TNLNSL TFTC

Found it although disabled. Had a pen with me, which can write on soaked paper as well. Log is completely wet, but maintenance is obviously on the way. Anyway, thanks for showing this little park.

Arrived at GZ only to find local muggle sitting near cache. Lucky junior wombats wanted to swing so we waited, and waited, and waited til he left and then had very soggy cache in hand. No way to sign log. replaced as we had no extra bags or towel.
We're from Vancouver Canada and are visiting Hobart for a day and a half on the Dawn Princess. Perfect weather for some geocaching so we let geocaching be our your guide. The cache including the log book are very wet - we didn't have a plastic bag with us to replace the soggy one. TFTC
Glad it was a wet day and I had my brolly on me, was handy to poke in the garden with! TFTC
A super quick finf by Jr Geo. Log book was full but found some room and also a tad damp.
TNLN. A great find and super quick. had to wait for a few muggles (tourists) to go to accommodation before returing cache.

2nd of three finds in this general area this morning. Very grateful for the good hint.....meant it was a quick grab and sign, which is good with so many windows that maybe watching.

Lovely little neighborhood right down the street from our hotel. Sure appears that the locals enjoy the gardens there. Log was damp but all intact. TFTC TNLN.
Enjoyed seeing the buildings on a beautiful afternoon then off for fish & chips on the quayside. Thank you.
A definite circus of camera's and muggles. Me and Craig_appz made it out that we were looking for a kid's toy that was dropped.. Ever so sneaky we thought..
Found in the dark late at night. Were just about to give up when we found it logged it and ran off back to the warmth of the car.
Great spot, I've been meaning to walk through here for 6 years but never have. Took frog, left evil head. Log book damp, let it dry in the sun for about 5 min sheilding it from muggles eyes with a magic cloak.
I absolutely loved this little circus, what a brilliant location. There was no-one around when I went there, which was really rather fortunate. Thanks for bringing me here and TFTC.
Great day caching with my family. In Tassie from USA. Enjoyed watching the kids play in the park. TFTC TNLF.
A lovely spot to see in Hobart and there was a yummy bakery close by that supplied an early afternoon tea. Cache was still a bit wet but I guess that's what happens after 19 weekends of rain in a row.

what quaint little cottages! though I suspected that there were people wondering what the strange man was doing, lurking around the bench in the rain...TNLN, cache was wet. Thanks for the cache.
Like a clown I romped around trying to wait for the mugglers to leave. Found it at 1318hrs as my 4th today and 161st o/all. Then it became muggles circus and it took about an hour to put the cache back under the big top. However, loved the circus ring and will go back for another visit. TFTC OldSaint.
There were the occasional muggles on foot and in vehicles that had to be dodged today, but eventually I was able to seize the moment and the cache. Dampness prevails inside, and although I was able to remove some of the water I didn't have anything suitable for giving it a really good drying, sorry. Thanks, Roehm; a pretty little spot.
Nice easy find just had to look innocent with the muggles playing on the swings. There was water in the cache and the log book is wet. TFTC
Having helped Bkj97 to find many of his caches since May 2009 I thought it was time that Bcj97 (previous name) should evolve and register my finds to date as Little Blue Hen. Grabbed on way to market. TFTC
Found at 21:00 in the rain, after two other abortive attempts to get here when the sun was still up. There was a small slug guarding the cache!
First find of the day after bagettes at bakery in Battery Point. Cache a little damp but secure. TFTCSL
yahoo, this is our first ever found cache, a nice easy one to find. We were really hoping it was NOT under the pile of doggy doo in the shrubbery, thankfully it was another foot away. Took donald pin to move him to the next cache we find. TFTC and in such a cute place too.
An interesting little park tucked away nicley. Although it was very busy with cars and muggles walking by going to the local establishment. Patience and an incoming phone call diverted a bit of attention away from my presence in the area. Found at 1910hrs.

A bit of a "circus" was this one. Found it at 1035 hrs after a few laps to settle the Garmin and to dodge cars and muggles. A great location we would not have visited other than through geocaching. Lots of quaint and historic houses. TNLN Thanks Roehm for the great hide and excellent location.
What an efort this cache was
It took me 3 visits to avoid the muggles and about a 30 min wait to put it back.

What lovely houses full of character. Didn't realise the 'fame' of this circus until after we had left, which was a shame, but glad we saw it. With my Dad G4CXQ. Took 50cents and left 5cents. Thanks For The Cash!! (Wet and muddy Cache)
Great little area which read about in Guide to Tasie book. Thanks for taking me here. TFTC SL
17:25 Found on our Touring Tassie and Beyond 2009 Trip!
We loved this place. Picked out a couple of houses that would be perfect to live in. A really cool place, that we even had to ourselves as muggles vacated the area just as we arrived
We'll have that one, that one, and that one thanks

Hurray! found it. This one has been on my list for a while. And it's quite a while since I've been here, I think the last time was a grade 6 school trip (and now my youngest is in grade 6 ). Finally the planets aligned - with a few days off for the Easter break and a promised trip to the pictures I finally had the right camoflage - geoson and geodaughters. But there were plenty of muggles around today and we had to wait it out. Eventually a break in the traffic (pedestrian and vehicles) and the cache was found. A quick log in the car where all the kids noticed the rather strong aroma of the cache - perhaps the plants have been fertilised recently? The cache was speedily returned to its hidey hole. TFTC
Took a while because of looking
on the wrong side of the hedge!!
(doh!!) found it and logged it
took balloon and left 50c

Found inbetween muggle appearances. TFTC. Kids had a nice swing while we retrived the cache and logged it.
Found with Jeanette. I'm sure this cache kept moving around GZ, as I'm sure I checked this spot a few times before I caught it. Finding this cache was difficult with all the muggles homes & some muggles using he park.
My first Tasmanian geocache find!!! Whoo hoo! Team Snuva picked me up at the airport and seemed to know that I'd want to find a cache right away. It was dark but fiarly quiet. Got to GZ pretty quick but took awhile without a flashlight. Snuva snagged a flashlight from the car and then we made quick work of it. Neat little park. Nice to be here in the evening when we wouldn't have to worry about the little muggles! HA! Thanks for a great Tasmanian caching start! TFTC #2277 for us.
Great place. Left stickers, took pirate ring and geopard.
Found it a little uncovered, tried to hide it a little bit better.

Found on my 4th go! It's not that hard - just muggles all the time! Even then I had to wait. Lovely spot though thanks Roehm.
Found at 3.28pm. By coincidence my second visit to this park in just a few days. The first time was for a feed at one of the local restaurants but today was a geocaching day. Found OK, it seems that there is always someone around to keep an eye on. Took the opportunity to have another snack at the restaurant as well. TNLN TFTC.
Circus is right. 8:45 on a Sunday night and round and round the cars just kept coming. I'm sure we must have looked very suspisious waiting patiently for a chance to not only grab but return as well. Beautiful spot to live though
What a beautiful area ta res' in after bikin' in from tha S.S.oD from Blackers Bay! Nice an' restful.
Discretely poked around while keeping an eye on the muggles playing on the swing. Thanks!
I rolled up, rolled up, to find the greatest cache on earth [:o)]
Well it was the greatest cache in the vicinity
Upon arrival I decided a bit of stealth (ie: suspicious behaviour) was in order so produced my GPS camera from my bag of tricks
With a few muggles wandering by I poked my size 9 boot around a few promising spots till I heard the distinctive 'clunk' of plastic
Hoping it wasn't another drink bottle I dropped my hat and retrieved both it and a cache [^]

Chip and I were on foot checking out Hobart and followed the arrow through some back streets to get here. Another lovely hidden Hobart gem.
Cheers!

Found with Hoojar.
We were walking for this one so luckily we didn't have any of the hectic directions to get up to this cache.
An amazing part of Hobart. Its beautiful here. And the local dog parks put NSW to shame.
Thanks for leading us somewhere we would normally not see.
Pity about the bogan neighbours who were doing smoke outs on the street.
Loved the park.

on a one day visit to Hobart while cruising "Down Under". thanks for the hide! signed log, took flag clip, left recycle pin.
Lovely tranquil spot and enjoyable find. Elz Rocks & Dan enjoyed the swings. Need to be careful of potential muggles watching though.
(There must have been odd people at the location when thistlecat logged it, as no-one else has logged it since). There were a few people around today but they seemed intent on their own business, and I don't think they took any notice of me. I enjoyed having a sit in the sun. Thanks Roehm.
This cache amused me highly as I suspect we were sitting right at cache (trying to pretend we weren't caching) when some other cachers arrived also trying to pretend they weren't caching. If that is not the case, then some very odd people visit this location
In an evening walk around parts of Hobart near my hotel, this was just one of two found. All the others were Multi-caches with GZ or subsequent waypoints too far away. It was a lovely little park - a bit of a hidden treasure - and a nice place to rest for a while. Thanks for bringing me here and for the cache.
Our last find on our Prime Caching Weekend. Yes 23 finds in a weekend. Found this one in the rain, so no muggle worries. TTE even took the time to have a swing. TFTC Cheers Quilter
Found this one on a lovely sunny Hobart day - my ancestors owned two of the original houses you will see here - wish I owned them now!!!!! TFTC Sarian
you must have the same navigator to me or do they change the street directions regularly.
Easy find on our Hobart Invasion sortee.

Found it fairly quickly. It's in a good spot in a famous part of Hobart. It has fairly heavy traffic though, so one needs to be careful.
Amy's mum works at the pub just around the corner here. While waiting to pick her up from work I checked the GPSr and told Amy I'd be back in 5 minutes. No problems with the cache, it is still there. A beautiful little area, how curious!
It actually took me 7 minutes to get back to the car!

More Christmas shopping - ended up finding a park right on the edge of the Circus, so it'd be rude not to grab the cache while there was no one around. When it was obvious not a magnetic hide decided to go for the clue so as not to destroy the foliage - good move I think, got it straight away. Thanks.
Logging a bunch on coins and bugs in and out and grabbed Neophiles pathtag thanks. Dropped off Wavendon Williams' TravellingAngel of the North Geocoin.
A quick and easy find at a picturesque spot and something to sit on. What more could you want?
