Thought I was close to GZ. Rock and rolled in what seemed obvious area but no luck. Didn't stay too long in area as the mosquitoes were ferocious.
Took a bit of a hunt but finally found it once I realized that something didn't look quite right. All good at GZ and TFTC. Greetings from Wellington New Zealand.
Straight to it this time. Last visit, I looked in all the same places but did not see. Funny that.
An event on the Sunshine Coast is enough to lure me up for the afternoon and collect a few off my ever-shrinking "to-do" list. Given simple geography and distance, most of that list is up here. This is on that list, and so after the event, I head here.I park up and follow the track into the bushland. My timing is off in multiple ways. Namely, it is late and it's kinda hard to see much in here. Also, it's dry meaning the creek isn't flowing, and even the little pond is sadly small. And lastly, seems there's been works here since the geocache was placed. The boardwalk is lovely (and impressed it seemingly didn't affect the geocache) but if there's still rollingstock and rails remaining as perphotos on this page - I couldn't find them. But I did walk up and down a fairly long way, having a look and reading a few information boards before I bothered to check my phone and realised the geocache was way back there. No worries, I wandered to the right spot and identified a few likely holes. I jumped down and with phone torch, peered into a few spots and came up with the hidden beast.Convenient to have the boardwalk here for a little table to open the container and sign my name. All in good condition, signed and replaced at 17:10. I do hope there is remnants of the tramline and I just missed it. So many small lines have come and long since gone and been forgotten. Thanks for this geocache, Konie
Accio 12:03:54A great weekend away with T4mmmy, but time to go home. The solid rain seems to have set in, but always time for one more - one last one and a lovely little walk in along the old tramway path, and after a short hunt tapped plastic. Log all good here. thanks. Thanks Konie for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12110}*
Time for one more cache before heading off to meet a friend a few miles away. Took a bit to locate ... had to work my way along ... as distance was very bouncy.TNLNSL. TFTC ... another lovely walking area ...
Headed out in the geo-car for a few caches today.
Decided to hit a few around Buderim since there was an event nearby that I was attending.
This is my 2274. Cache was found on 10 Sep 2023 at 1:14 pm.

This was a quick find by E_Smiley in the first cave she looked at. AtTheLakeHouse and I were no help at all on this cache. That's the benefit of caching as a group. Three sets of eyes are always better than one. We've had a lovely day of caching and found ten caches altogether, plus had lunch, coffee and a chat.
Pretty successful day all round really. Thanks for the cache, Konie

This was sad because I could not find. Really sad . Looked for 15 minutes and then left. Think washed away from all the rain. Hope to find it again if I find it really sad but this happens.
Could not find it on our previous visit last year but better luck this time. Not exactly helped by the installation of the new elevated walk way but it does look good. TFTC.
Konie I found your cache Buderim - Palmwoods Heritage on 25/7/2022, 10:15 am. This is my find 3837 and find # 2 today. Found it after a brief search. No workers today, sneaked in. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
On a Sunday morning, we checked the situation from both sides of the walkway. We sneaked in from one side, and found the cache.

On the Sunshine Coast to visit friends and bring our puppy back home after a staycation up here… I was allowed to go caching for a couple of hours and I’m making my way to target cache near Woombye…
I’ve never been here before so quite enjoyed reading about the tramway…. Even though the full display isn’t visible I didn’t regret my visit…
Oh, and there was a cache here too… tftc…

Had to extend my search area out a few m’s and the first place I looked there it was. For one that has been hiding more then 10 years it is looking in good shape. Thanks for this one
Continuing a lovely walk in the park bought me to this cache. Really quiet and peaceful here today. Log signed and cache returned as found. Thanks Konie
10/6/20 Find #3758
A Wacky Wednesday out with wombles and co today finding caches our partner in crime NyssaFlutterby had already found as she could not join us for the day’s adventures.
We decided to hit up the Botanical Gardens and Buderim area.
Having completed the gardens, it was time to head this way. We found a spot to park the car and made the short but interesting journey in.
Funnily enough, we found the cute carriage just past here before the cache - we had made it to GZ (and just slightly past due to some bounce) but the carriage had caught our eye, so we wandered over to check it out first, before turning our concentration back to the job at hand.
It didn’t take long to uncover the cache as well and add our names.
Thanks for the cache Konie.

Out for a wet Wednesday of caching with 1minniemoo.
What an interesting place! We enjoyed the walk through here and the cache was easily located.

Lovely park, kids had a great time finding this cache. Used my geosense to find this little hiding spot. Thanks!
We’re out picking up gems and solving all mystery’s, after a couple DNF’s we were happy to be back on the board.

What an absolutely delightful spot. All with a little heritage. As usual, smallwombat pounced on it. Tftc
Found with sunshine58 while out riding around buderim. Thanks konie for hiding a cache in this beautiful out of the way historical location.
Night time difficulty = 8.0
Great fun and introduced a first-time geocacher, he loved it

A day of caching with stortigirls. Searching by torchlight, stortigirls located this one. TFTC
walk in the dark with our torches through what we were sure would have been a lovely area in daylight saw us close in on this one. Selva Girls stopped where her numbers put her, and I followed mine; today it was my gps playing nicely and I found the container. Tftc Konie
Out and about on this chilly morning, taking the geo-pup for a stroll along a well known path, I decided to actually bring a pen this time...
nice and quick find, next time we go for a walk I’ll replace the ziplock bag on this one...
Thanks for the quick find!

TFTC. Lovely one overflowing with swaps. Australian World Cup soccer sticker swaps added
Found. Container had an ants nest inside . Cleared out most of them. Loved the walk
Out for the day with Miss Direction, at first I ducked into the area hoping for a quick park n grab as geobub was asleep, but during the search I realised it was a not to miss place, GPS was really jumpy and when I returned with Miss Direction and bub and explained where the search could be she proclaimed she found it - I swear it must have jumped out at her great find and no need to lose your footing in the garden. TFTC and bringing us to such a tranquil spot.
The tramway was beautiful and a lovely walk i would have never known existed, after a bit of wandering around johnwillems and i located the cache TFTC
Took us equally long to find as the other one in this park but we didn't mind. Apart from the mozzies this is a lovely spot. The container is wet and log was soaked so couldn't sign it.
This one may have been moved from its original cave because it was quite visible from the pathway and I went straight to it. Have left it though where I found it. Was quite wet inside.
Found it! Good spot It’s definitely camouflaged well. This is my first geocache and it’s in a place I frequent quite regularly.
Found it, I'm out on my own today. I've been visiting a muggle sibling, but she's off working this morning, so after a rather long ramble I came to see the tram and enjoy the park. Thanks for placing the cache, as I wouldn't ever have found this lovely and interesting spot without it. All is well here. Well, I'm off to have one last one sided glaring session with gz at the Lion's park up the hill. I know that darned cache us there, I just can't seem to see it Thank the deities of caching, this one is a nice ego soothing cache to visit.
Nice easy find. Loved finding this area and a bit of history about the tram. TFTC.
