Thanks for bringing us to this spot, we did have to look a wee while as there were a few five fat finger possibilities- had our muggle friends helping out TFTC
After playing a round of golf with mswilby and some muggles friends, I persuaded them to come here to get this multi for a dot day. Got the numbers and headed to my GZ but it didnt look right. Had a search but nothing. Decided to leave but spotted something and it was the cache! Re looking at the description- I believe I misread one question so my numbers were a bit out. Thanks for the cache, Bitsprayer#5933 ** Make your way to Dunedin for New Zealands next large multi-day event. GCA7ZHD Geo Toroa will be held on NZs Labour Day long weekend 26-27th October 2024 **
On an adventure with busy paws to explore Danseys Pass. Packed lunch and drinks for a big day. We enjoyed going to find the plaque to get the info. The hint was awesome for finding the cache. Thanks for this multi Bitsprayer.
Drove to the spot to get information. What a little bit of treasure that area is!! Found cache with good hint all safe and dry, found with coconuts3 on a great little break away. TFTH
On a Saturday mission around the district to tidy up all those unfound and dnf caches. Have bike in town to speed up the day .. and maybe get a few clues along the way
Nice straight forward multi tftc

Heading to Kurow for the long weekend. A bit of a detour to get this one and a few others. Nice quick find here and decided to carry on up the Danseys Road for a bit. Got the numbers easily enough and spot on so was a nice quick find at the final TFTC
Decided to make a trip to Duntroon over the Dansey Pass. Lots of logs to find and sign and this one was one of them. TFTC
One car parked up when I arrived. Car door hastily closed as I pull in so I thought they were enjoying the solitude of the place. But then another person walked up the track after a swim and hopped in and off they went leaving me to gather the data and have a good look round before heading off to the final. Thanks for bringing me here Bitsprayer - it was a really nice spot early this evening. TFTC # 11,531
Geofest Oamaru is over but our (The Seagnoid, Toby, Zara & I) epic adventure continues - Day 4 Danseys Pass - another 'must do'. The weather is drizzly, so its raincoats and gummies for the day.
Finally found the plaque hiding behind a large camper, that kept watch on us. Grabbed the info and off to GZ or not. Hunted and hunted but no joy. Returned to the plaque to recheck out figures. Bummer - one wrong - now things may make sense. Returned to the new GZ for an easy find. Cheers.

The Geofest ended yesterday, but Taybeedragon and I are still going strong. It's raining - just light rain, and so rather than walk or cycle somewhere, we are driving Dansey Pass, the slow way.
The tree at the plaque has been removed, replaced by a big campervan. Owners where not too concerned about us, once they saw we were after the plaque. Found nothing at the final, hint made no sense, so we went back to the plaque again. Ahh - Changed one value, another short walk... and suddenly the hint makes sense.
Two large toilets here - this must have been very popular once. Aside from being overgrown, why is it not popular now?

A nice little multi. Plaque is no longer behind a fallen tree. It must have been a popular spot in the past considering the toilet block. cache is in good order.
Nice and easy thanks once I found the plaque which was hidden behind a recently fallen tree.
Granville86a and I figured the puzzle and made the find enjoying the apples off the nearby tree, TFTC
Found with Chosen1978. Worked out the answers, grabbed a couple of apples off a nearby tree (nice) and then headed to final. cache soon located and logbook signed. Great spot.
So much fun.love quizes that are easy to work out. Amazing swimming hole with toilets. Didn't want to go home. Going to have to go back!!!!!
Great spot - awesome swimming hole, and interesting info on the scheme. Had to rescue a hedgehog from a slow death in the cattle stop. Happy ending.
Day 2 of our 5 Day end of year geocaching trip. A very quick PnG at our new calculated coords on the way to our accommodation. We actually spotted it immediately. Thanks for the cache

Had some trouble with one number, but found if (of course the second number we tried). TFTC
We found the plaque and calculated the numbers quickly. We went to our proposed GZ and found something matching the hint but no cache. There did seem to be geotrails around and signs of searching but we had to move on. Now that were home I do see another possible answer so we may have been searching in the wrong place.
Nice place to stop and have a cuppa on a sunny anniversary day. Also time to give the geo mutt a walk & swim.
Fun multi.

A nice little multi which gave us a chance to tidy up the van, feed and water the dogs. Calculations completed quickly and the final was soon located and we were on our way again. TFTMC

We had a bit of trouble with the secretary but got it sorted in the end. Nice area. Thanks.

What a cool spot for a multi.

I visited your cache as part of a week-long self indulgent Geocaching trip from Nelson to Bluff and back again. I apologise for not leaving a completely personalised log, but I do want to thank you for the time, money and effort you put into placing your caches. Without people like you who place caches, there would be nothing for the rest of us to come and find. You are fantastic

Another lovely spot we would miss except for the cache, which had been discarded, but now hidden as per hint.
Found at 07:15 on 13/11/2011.
Found during a tour of South Canterbury and North Otago whilst on an Orienteering weekend.

Cool place for a swim before the recent rains and flood came through, but before they did there was all trees and shrub n the other side of the river and now there is nothing, just rocks. Amazing. Took a while to locate the cache, being lazy, and kept changing co-ords because thought it was wrong. finally found it and left it better hidden than the last Cacher to find it.
A nice straightforward multi plus a bit of history of the area, I enjoy these ones.

It pays to read the instructions carefully, our initial offset was too short, easy find once we figured out where we went wrong with the numbers. Nice spot for a cache, found with Yeetrees.

Missed turn off on way in but found location on return from "Needs a Lick of Paint". Did the maths and located cache after a car load of muggles left the area. Neat Hint. TFTC
A cold morning. Heading back to Central Otago today via Danseys Pass so thought we would complete this cache along the way. Tricky clues, especially the last but aj had a Eureka moment just before he froze! It was 6 degrees on top of the Pass! Very clever hiding place. TNLN.
Walked across the river when returning from 'lick of paint' - a great excuse to cool down on a very hot day. Decided to drive to the final though Thanks.
There are two good possibilities for the clue - fortunately checked both and bingo.
We went the wet way wading through the stream. A relief on an extremely hot day it was 34 degrees. We too wondered about whether to count initials and did so which worked.

We were not sure if initials counted in the name or not. Luckily the wrong answer ot that is not too far away. Nice clue.
really nice multi in a lovely spot to rest and enjoy the quiet, cheers recovered cache as it was exposed
Second again to the man from uncle - we must be Kuryakin (please excuse spelling) Took furbie Left geocoin TFTC
FTF. Been sitting here for a little while. Surprised to get FTF. Picked up after coming across Dansey's Pass.
