Nice warm day thought we would go for a walk to find a few caches

It's Day 8 of the GCLOGAN events.We left our camping area to search for some more caches South, before than turning direction to go via Daisy Hill Koala centre North.We found many, but not all which we tackled, but that happens.We decided to get these 4 caches in the Bushland. Tftc A J Junior

This cache was nice and easy to find. Container is not waterproof anymore, but the log was dry enough

Out for a day of caching with CuriousQuest. Next up, we headed to this cache. A quick find was made and our names added to the log. With everything returned as found, we continued on our way. TFTC

Out and about with Selva Girls today. After a quick look and the cache was in hand. Log was signed and replaced as found. TFTC

Found it! Slightly off from the GPS

As two english girls geocaching in the southern hemisphere for the first time, navigating the australian bush is rather different than the english countryside. After a immediate mistake going down the wrong path we eventually set ourselves right and watch the metres count down. Our excitement quickly faded when we realised that this cache was off the path. Gritting our teeth we ventered into the bush swallowing our petrified screams after getting caught in various webs. Pom decided she would go no further and would navigate me from the path. I soldiered on and quickly found the cache, after which I persuaded her to fight her fears and come see what treasure lay inside. Sadly we forgot anything to trade but great cache thanks! With our southern hemisphere geocaching virginitys taken, we go onto the next! Happy caching:)

Struggled to find this one even with the hint! Had to check the photos to find it. Must have just been us though haha

Fourth find on this rainy morning in the bush.

This one had a community of insects and arachnids living around it at GZ. Tried my best not to disturb them. Another lovely spot just off the trail.

Found it another good one just off the beaten track.

Heading off to an event down logan village way this morning and decided to pick up Triple Turmoil on the way. We had hatched a plan to grab a few caches before the event as it had an unusual start time. She was given the navigation duties, which is always scary but I cannot do both when in a hurry.

We saw this one when passing and had to stop. For several reasons, for me it was a large and for triple turmoil, it was a large that will help complete a challenge she has been doing. Hmmm, but wait there is more. There are three other caches in here that are helpful in my challenges. Oh gees the dilemma, we are going to be slightly late for the event if we get all four. OK we are going to be late and off we went madly racing around to find these caches. Luckily they were all very easy finds and the area was easy to navigate around.
All good with this cache, I signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Then we were off, on our way to the next. Thanks for placing this one here.

Chamad and I were off to an event nearby later in the morning. We are both early morning people, so the night before we hatched a plan to get a heap of caches on the way to the event. I needed one more large cache for a challenge cache up near maryborough, so I was very excited to see that this was going to be an easy possibily to make this happen today. We were running late for the event (should have started even earlier) and were tempted to just get the large and come back later for the other 3 in here. But we are fast cachers, so we quickly walked in and grabbed all the ones in here

Down this way for a party, but left with enough time for T4mmmy and I nab a few caches. This was as far as we went on this track - apparently there are caves out here somewhere - we shall have to come back. Places to be, people to see.

My final find in this cluster of oldies…

Once again it looks like a patrol of scouts has been through collecting firewood… not so much a SPOS, more a SMOS…

The firewood may have distracted me enough that I didn’t notice the HUGE cache guardian that managed to get into the cache before I “grunted” and dropped the container… no need to worry I dropped the container about 10 metres away…

Returned everything as found (sans guardian) and left DuckTales - Webby Trackable to carry on… tftc…

Decided to check what was close and in the area whilst taking dog for walk. Did not take anything because I did not bring anything to swap.

We needed a larger size that was visited regularly and not too far so I chose this one. I had read the logs and knew it was in trouble so I decided to ignore protocol and do some repair work.
so the term ammo can is a little untrue although part of it remains. It has a new log in a nice new bag, some new swaps for kids and as of today 4 travel bugs. it was a pleasant walk for an easy find and I hope others get to enjoy it too.

Found more cammo than anmo here. Looks like a fire has been through and time and weather have done the rest. Log book is still dry so the absence of the rest of the tin doesn't seem to be an issue. TFTC

Monday mayhem for those of us lucky enough not to have to work Perfect weather for a ramble through the bush and pub lunch. Happy to ride shotgun today and do the navigation duties.

Located easily but never seen anything like this before and obliterated is an understatement. There is a rusty base seared to the earth and the lid sitting on top of the logbook. So what happened to the sides?! Can see that Humbug has already logged a Needs Maintenance on this and, surprisingly, the plastic baggie and logbook are bone dry
