It's Day 8 of the GCLOGAN events.We left our camping area to search for some more caches South, before than turning direction to go via Daisy Hill Koala centre North.We found many, but not all which we tackled, but that happens.We decided to get these 4 caches in the Bushland. Tftc Bar-bq
Out for a day of caching with CuriousQuest. Next up, we headed to this cache. A quick find was made and our names added to the log. With everything returned as found, we continued on our way. TFTC
Out and about with Selva Girls today. After a quick look and the cache was in hand. Log was signed and replaced as found. TFTC
What I find! Great walk through the bush I think we took the hard way but we found it! Tftc
After finding the other three nearby caches it was time for this one. A bit of an off trail stroll got me to GZ and an instant find. All is well with cache and contents. TFTC bar-bq

A light bush bash for a few hundred metres with a big cache at the end of it. A really enjoyable walk through some nice scenery.

Heading off to an event down logan village way this morning and decided to pick up Triple Turmoil on the way. We had hatched a plan to grab a few caches before the event as it had an unusual start time. She was given the navigation duties, which is always scary but I cannot do both when in a hurry.
We saw this one when passing and had to stop. For several reasons, for me it was a large and for triple turmoil, it was a large that will help complete a challenge she has been doing. Hmmm, but wait there is more. There are three other caches in here that are helpful in my challenges. Oh gees the dilemma, we are going to be slightly late for the event if we get all four. OK we are going to be late and off we went madly racing around to find these caches. Luckily they were all very easy finds and the area was easy to navigate around.
All good with this cache, I signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Then we were off, on our way to the next. Thanks for placing this one here.

Chamad and I were off to an event nearby later in the morning. We are both early morning people, so the night before we hatched a plan to get a heap of caches on the way to the event. I needed one more large cache for a challenge cache up near maryborough, so I was very excited to see that this was going to be an easy possibily to make this happen today. We were running late for the event (should have started even earlier) and were tempted to just get the large and come back later for the other 3 in here. But we are fast cachers, so we quickly walked in and grabbed all the ones in here

Down this way for a party, but left with enough time for T4mmmy and I nab a few caches. This was as far as we went on this track - apparently there are caves out here somewhere - we shall have to come back. Places to be, people to see.

Time to start working on some challenges and today was dedicated to finding some older caches prior to attending the Logan catchup event with geo friends hatzofff, RoddyC & grannysmith1947.

I managed to extract the log without upsetting the tepee built around it. There is a constant low buzz of bees in here or my tinnitus has taken an interesting turn. Thanks for the cache
My third find in the the Plunkett Regional Park… after claiming a FTF earlier I wanted to test Cachly as I’m still learning how to drive it and this group of oldies seemed ideal…
It looks like a patrol of scouts has been through here collecting firewood… I’m not sure the amount of camo here helps or highlights the cache… tftc…

Good little hunt off the beaten track! Love these ones. Log dry but has clearly been wet, plastic bag starting to fail- worth a maintenance check soon
Rather daunting bush walking for city slickers. After cache find realised no path or GPS to guide us out, so used instinct to try to retrace our way back to our car. Stumbled across the main bush track, thank goodness! A lesson learned to log GPS start of bushwalk if venturing cross country.
Nearly gave this one a miss today as I wanted to get another couple of caches a little way off but then I thought that I would have to rewalk this area again so I went for a find. The only problem was the Spear grass that I had attached to my socks and clothes but I did get the cache even thought I was looking for a burnt log. Signed the log in a sort of a fashion as it was very wet and replaced cache as found.

Found this one flare box log needs repair as u cant sign. Male sure ur phone os charged of u are here at sunset... was interesting getting back to the car hahah- team skully
Found without too much difficulty. I could see it shining like a beacon from a long way away as it wasn't covered much. It was also a bit of a swimming pool inside although the log book was still dry because its bag had been sealed properly.
Drained and dried container and everything i could and took what couldn't with me and put other goodies in their place. The gel pack was satched so have left it and the pen and pencil under the container as I couldn't dry them. Took some care to cover it so it can't be seen. TFTC

Monday mayhem for those of us lucky enough not to have to work Perfect weather for a ramble through the bush and pub lunch. Happy to ride shotgun today and do the navigation duties.
Really enjoying the walk though the reserve, but the steep stuff is still to come. Cache was located with ease.

Out collecting a few caches I had kept reserved for possible MTB fun. Seems it has taken a few years and still no MTB so given my CB for the day picked the location I had no choice but to follow. 
So good to get back to some 'real' geocaching even though we took the wrong path to this one...lol

This was our last one here for the day and a little off the track. This was an enjoyable walk and it did not take too long to make the find and add our name to the log. TFTC
On this side of the track, the bush was largely untouched by the fire which ravaged the other areas along the track. Even so, our walk through the bush this afternoon has been pleasant. Team Benders made a bee-line to this cache and was rewarded with her first find of the afternoon. Nice large cache almost hiding out in the open, sort of. We all signed the log then headed back to the road, where we passed the ants nest I stirred up on the way in.
