No luck for me here today. Had a good look in all the usual spots. I'll have to return another day for a second go !! Pity about all the rubbish in the area. Thanks for the hunt The Morris. [B)]
What a lovely spot. Spent far too long looking for cache and not enough time enjoying the surroundings. Better luck next time.

A very early drive was in order this morning to find this one which had some unloved days to be collected, 199 in total. The road was muggle free almost the whole way and it was a beautiful morning for a drive. The geo family were in bed so I was up early and out with a coffee and the cool breeze in my face. I got to the turn point and I was glad I took the AWD. The road wasn't too bad but a sedan probably wouldn't want to go down here in bad weather. I pulled up about 200 meters short of the cache. I walked in, saw the camp spots and made my way to the steep point. My GPSr was a little jumpy and had me in another spot. I searched the area and soon had this hide in my hands. I took a few photos here and slowly made my way back to the geo vehicle [^] Stamped and returned as found.

What a great camping spot along the bend in the river. There was nobody about today, only the remnants of an extinguished camp fire. I was glad that we had the high clearance to make our way along the track today.
Thanks to The Morris for the cache.
Thanks to The Morris for the cache.
What an awesome location to come and hide out. I enjoyed the rough track into and then down to the cache. I find when I come to places like this I get distracted by the scenery and exploring the area before remembering I gotta find the cache and found it was. Thanks to The Morris for highlighting this secret spot.
A steep point and a bumpy ride, and the final approach would have been a little too bumpy for the Geo6E, so we parked and walked the last couple of hundred metres to the cache. As we arrived, a wisp of smoke rose up from a still warm campfire but there was no-one in sight.
A bit of a scramble and the Geomonkey spotted what we were after. I extracted the log, and was amused to discover that there may be a brand new geocacher in our ranks. The entry before mine was dated with today's date and indicated that "Reggie" had found the cache by accident but was keen to play the game !
I added my own stamp to the log and then with Geohubby, the Geomonkey and Geoboys #1 and 2 in tow we had a look around, snapped some pics and enjoyed this pretty spot before heading off to see some more of the Brisbane Ranges.
Thanks to The Morris for bringing us to this spot !

We parked the car, just as another car pulled up behind us. We jumped out and figured we'd just look like tourists for a bit, then they called 'found it yet?' So we joined the hunt together. Great to meet Tritonz, and we had a good chat with them about things caching. We were glad it wasn't a hot day today, a great spot for a reptile to be sunning itself! Thanks for bringing us here, the beauty of creation is awesome!

Had an early day today, so decided to head out and find this once to make day 19 of the 31 day challenge! Been out here a could of times in the 4wd but there has always been someone camping down the bottom, so figured today with the cold, wind, rain and the fact it was a Monday we figured we SHOULD be OK and to our relief we were! Thanks for brining back to this campground! TNLN SL TFTC!

Was having fun getting the 4wd dirty driving through the puddles, got to the end and thought that sux there's wooden things and I can't drive down to the cache, oh well my dog will enjoy the small walk.. Get to the cache and wonder how many 4wd's have driven into the river by accident maybe that's why you can't drive down? Oh well great cache thanks
Our second on our road trip with sub016. Was easy to find. We had a 2wd and decided to park up and walk the last few hundred meters due to rocks, steep slope and slightly wet ground. Tftc.
A really beautiful location overlooking the river. Took the long way in from the track to the cache - should have come down from the top. Accurate co-ords Leeds to an easy find. TFTC

This cache has had some activity over the long weekend. We decided to find this one on our way home from Geelong today. What's a little detour on a nice day!!! Liked having the turn off co-ordinates thanks and liked having a four wheel drive too for this one. When we went in, there was a little car in there which the owner said he took it very slowly, but he was concerned about leaving in it. We had a nice wander down to the cache and took TB to brmm on its travels.
The geoboys really liked the areas and the rocks to leap over. Thanks for the hide and showing us a nice little hidden spot.

My housemate and I decided to go for a bush-walk in the Brisbane Ranges today which means less geocaching and more walking It turned out not to be a bad choice after all. This one was almost on the way so we took the little detour which wasn't a problem for the Xtrail. Thanks for providing the turn-off position, this was an easy find. Lovely location for our Sunday picnic! There were a group of highly interested muggles camping here and we had a long chat about the fun of the game. They may be cachers soon ...
Left Tassie Devil TB to help spread the message about its predicament in the wider geocaching community. (The resident muggles also studied the info accompanying the little devil!)
Cache is in excellent condition and still well stocked.

Dropped in here on my way down to Geelong from Ballarat, a couple of families camping here for the long weekend, but I met them higher up the road road in so no problem with the muggles while I hunted for the cache. Great little spot I wouldn't have gone to unless there was a cache there, no it's on my list of nice places for a camping weekend. Thanks The Morris for the cache.
Great little cache. Take the time to drive in and find this one. Great view. Dropped off a TB. Thank you morris.

Another delightful spot revealed thru' geocaching. The birds were singing and there was an abundance of xanthorrea. Would it be possible to see platypus here?
Cache located after GPS'r settled and was then recovered from behind the thistle guard.

Cool view over the creek, although it's a bit covered up owing to all the foilage. There was a muggle family just arriving as I walked in, they were friendly people so no harm in poking around while they set up down at the campsite.
Decided to park 2WD a fair way from GZ and walk the rest as not sure if track passable for such vehicle. Passed some mugglers camping and continued on. After a bit of a search cache was located.

Found by Roma and Max.
As with our previous find we have had this one on our radar for some time but lacked the opportunity for a search.
However on another geo related mission today we rectified that omission!
On the track in it was evident that it had rained overnight but we only had to dodge puddles as the rocky surface posed no problems for our vehicle.
Max made the final approach to GZ for an easy find.
Thanks again The Morris team for bringing us to this lovely bush setting.

Ironically I started the day on a The Morris cache, how fitting to end the day on one too. Met up with Bogonghazy for a day to Geelong and surrounds, and to share in his 1000th find. Was nearing dusk when we hit here, and a few Roos on the way in. But a fabulous spot to end the day on, and nice to see some water running too. TNLNSL. Many Thanks to The Morris for bringing us here.
Wow, beautiful camp spot but the drive down was very rocky and steep, almost 4WD-only although we made it okay in our wagon.
The cache itself took some finding too, eventually the geowife was excited to make the find.
A classic place for a cache. Thanks!

I enjoyed the drive in to GZ and the area was fantastic. I loved the creek at the bottom, and I imagine in summer it would be a great spot for a swim. Followed the GPS for a few minutes until the cache was spotted. Thanks for the cache, and for showing me such a lovely area.

As I'd come out so far and there was a cache from the Morris so close I felt I'd better attempt it lest they scrub me from their Christmas Card list! The road in wasn't too difficult in my 2WD and when I got to the end I found some campers set up and eating their dinner (it was quite late in the afternoon!). I looked before me and saw rocks, lots and lots of rocks. I crossed my fingers that the coords would be spot on and sure enough they were. Phew, that was a time saver. I took a couple of minutes to admire the terrific location. It reminded me a lot of the Organ Pipes National Park, minus all the organ pipe structures!

This was cache # 19 of 36 for the day, in the company of Alansee. As we arrived at the track entrance there was a sign that said happy Birthday and some balloons, as we got close to GZ the party animals were just about to leave, I am sure that if they blew in to the bag they would no longer be driving, thankfully we found the cache with out to much trouble, it looked like a great place to take a swim if it was not so cold. My thanks to The Morris for the cache.
Found on a surprisingly cool summer day caching with Acts2YouthGroup. A really interesting spot here. As we drove in there were balloons and a 30th birthday party sign at the entrance. Once we got near gz it became obvious that the do had been the previous night, and that a good time had been had by all. To their credit, the stragglers were cleaning up and when we left all signs had been cleared away. Happily the cache was away from the stragglers and found easily. Thanks The Morris. A lovely spot.

I couldn't have wished for a better cache to mark my 50 Milestone. I found this today in the company of MrSnoop and as we haven't been caching long, we just loved this spot and challenge. We also greatly appreciated the co-ords for the track to get us started. Wildlife abounded and we introduced ourselves to Mr Echidna & took his photo (but he was a little camera shy). Kangaroos were abounding and it was a magical walk in from where we parked the car at the first fireplace area. It took us a bit of searching to find GZ but we were determined we weren't going to log a DNF. Took ladybird keyring and left clogs.TFTC The Morris.

Some caches make you want to say "this is what caching is all about", and this cache is one of them. I would never have found this fantastic place if it was not for caching and The Morris. We parked up at the top and walked down, loved all the grass trees, we soon worked out the name of the cache. God, we hate em in rocks, but we were lucky to find the cache under the 113th rock we looked under !!!!! (only joking). Enjoyed the peace and quiet as we signed the log.

First off, thanks for the waypoint marking the start of the track - it's a little easy to overlook! I was expecting (from the logs and name) that this would be pretty steep but, although it was very rough and there were some prominent rocks waiting for anything with a low clearance, I didn't think it was all that steep (not like a GCA cache I did earlier in the day "[CATS] - Highway to Nowhere") and rather enjoyed the bouncy journey to the parking spot near GZ. I must say I was very impressed with the river views from here and was even prompted to get my camera out and take a couple of shots. I get a bit nervous when faced with a hide in rocks, but all was good with this one and it was a quick find.

I appreciated having the turn off. Not sure I would have made it otherwise. I drove in to about 250m from the cache, and the track looked to drop so I walked from there. But I would have been able to get in and out easily enough.
Great little spot. I can see why you like coming here. The hill on the other side looks interesting, but I presume the old sign says, or used to say, private property.

Found late in the afternoon on my way home from Buninyong. I only drove half way in as my geomobile is fairly low to the ground and didn't like the look of the rocks and ruts. Soon after my discovery I heard muggles above, so a quick log and re-hide was made just before they came into sight. A great spot that I will certainly return to! TFTC.

Found today by Mr Emu & Demon Boy @ 12.35 p.m., GAFF1 http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/GAFF .
Like previous finders, our car was close to being quite impressed (literally) by the rocky final downhill section near the carpark. Careful driving got the company car through - a Subaru Liberty with "ouch" low-profile tyres and "double-ouch" stiff suspension. Besides, it wasn't possible to either turn around or reverse by this stage.
Found the cache nicely hidden, and also removed a dirty old broken beer bottle a few feet from the cache while we were there. Had a quick look at the river from our location - a somewhat surprising oasis in the otherwise dry bushland. Then it was carefully back up the track to the main road again - quite an adventure.
Our thanks to The Morris for this off-the-beaten track cache. Took: Nil; Left: Nil

Muggled JACCK66 didnt get the chance to look as a group of kid's were camping (partying) there will try again soon as it looked like a nice spot.
Found by Mary & David tat 1125. We always enjoy the back roads. The GeoCalais handled the track well, although we had to be careful over the rocky bits. Surprised to find plenty of water down below, although it didn't seem to be flowing. So many areras along the way are suffering in the drought. Many cypress stands are showing great sections of dieback. Great to have an excuse to drive through Steiglitz along the way. Took mini kaleidoscope, left a koala badge. Also collected TBs 'Spice loves sparkles!' and 'Red (Phillips) Head', and dropped off TB 'Katherine'. Our thanks, and Happy New Year, to The Morris.

I was surprised this cache remained unfound for so long.
I love this side of the world and even though it was blowing a gale and overcast.. it was still a lovely drive.
Unfortunately I was not feeling too adventurous today and took the turnoff co-ordinates and am glad I did.
A hint for future finders.. if your Geo-transport is at all lowered in the suspension.. then take it really easy down the track.. especially towards the end as there are some rather large rocks protruding from the road to whack the underside. [B)][B)][xx(]
But.. we made it in the Geo_Ute without too many hassles.
After a quick search we soon had the cache in hand and log was duly signed.
Be careful of loose rocks under foot as you are searching.

Thanks for another cache in a lovely area.
