Searched for in the company of MtbikerOz (Dad) on our week of Touring and caching around Tazzie.
Have only been able to log these once we got back to Melbourne.

Tried this without the disabled notice as we had an old PQ.

28-Feb-11
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

06-Feb-11
Please Archive. Owner is not maintaining and gz is suffering from searching.

30-Jan-11
Looked at every possible place, but no results, we couldn't find the cache.
The wall was already damaged around the search area.

09-Jan-11
Climbed the rocks, searched high and low then decided to read the logs for a possible hint. Doh, wish we'd done that first! Looks like it is AWOL.

01-Jan-11
It was interesting to look at the old bridge and see the different construction eras. Had a good look, resorted to hint, grumped at tall people setting tall caches. From past logs I'd say this one is gone. Cheers Quilter

21-Dec-10
Would have to concur that this one has gone. Checked all possible hidey holes with the torch, and while there has been some serious excavation by presumably other cachers, no hints that this could be anything other than missing. Sad

28-Nov-10
We spent about 20 minutes looking around the spot our GPS indicated and which was consistent with the clue. There were quite a few possible hiding places but, unfortunately, we could not locate the cache. Givern the number of recent DNFs, it would be appreciated if the owner could check whether or not the cache is still there. Thanks

07-Nov-10
Had a good look in all the obvious spots but couldnt find it.

27-Oct-10
Had a pretty good look, but couldn't find this one, even with the help of redtag.

25-Aug-10
Spent quite a bit of time looking for this one and could find nothing.

08-Aug-10
We have combined our accounts and are re-logging under our new account name. Smile

(Previous find as 'Rainbow Daisy' will be removed)

08-Aug-10
We parked at the other end of the river walk and took the geokids for a late afternoon stroll. There were heaps of muggles along the river fishing, but fortunately the closest to GZ headed off just as we were arriving. An easy find. Took star, left key chain mini pen. TFTC!

31-Jul-10
Good to get this one out of the way after a previous DNF. Walked straight to it and it was in the exact location that we had 'pinned' before. Thanks.

16-Jun-10
Found in an obvious location.
Must have been a massive bridge.
TFTC.

16-Jun-10
Very dark down here, but not dark enough for the cache to hide from us Wink Cheers Gav [6054]

06-Jun-10
Whoa its chilly down here! We had just about defrosted by the time we got here after camping the night. Glad we used the clue as we would not normaly look there as both of us are at a disadvantage! TFTC

25-Apr-10
it was a great walk from the last cache to this one, with a little drive thrown in Big Grin ..... definitely a great area down here, at this time of year at least... located the treasure without drama but the little bugger is a hard one to replace.... but got there... only one couple walking their dog down here, where was everyone on a fine sunny sunday arvo?

cheers 4 da cache scotty&lochie!

29-Mar-10
found approx 1100 hrs

nearly gave up, then found it - it always seems easy after you have found it!

22-Mar-10
Nope, no luck for us here. Looked as best we could without disturbing any blocks. Enough damage has been done. It could well be there, I just didnt find it.

Cheers
Bundy

Hi Scotty & lochie, Got this cache this morning at 0926hrs on the way to golf at New Norfolk GC. This was my 420th find. Quick find, no mugglers so some success here but not on the golf course. Hate Golf; LOVE geocaching. TFTC and cheers OldSaint.

I came to look for this cache back in November 2009 but it wasn't there. I had the opportunity to try again today and it was an easy find. TNLN. TFTC.

01-Mar-10
Lots of dog walkers in the area but we think that no one spotted us. Took nothing - left a US one dollar golden coin. Thanks for the hide.

28-Feb-10
I wouldn't want this lot to come tumbling down upon me so I was careful where I looked and what I moved.
A neat little hide.
Thanks Scottie&lochie

22-Feb-10
Nice quick find in a beautiful spot. TFTC

21-Feb-10

12-Feb-10
Found this one the way back after a work meeting. Showed this to a couple of prospective cachers. T4TCSL Smile

07-Feb-10
Found after quite a search after almost giving up, thinking it had been muggled again. We subtracted 1 foot from the height and 1 rock from the left and found it! Thanks for bringing us to this pretty spot.

29-Jan-10
Back in place and ready to go.

27-Jan-10
Needs Replacing

26-Jan-10
Seems to be a few around the area that might be missing - Fishy, Fishy was another. Certainly not six feet above and third rock from left! Nice spot tho!

26-Jan-10
Cambria49 climbed the wall for this one, but no longer there it seems??

25-Jan-10
This is the one cache where I didn't check the logs before looking for it - and of course, couldn't find it either.

23-Jan-10
From recent logs looks like it's gone - could not find on inspection

13-Jan-10
Made two attempts, second with reinforcements. Alas to no avail, however, on the second visit found large screwdriver and other items below GZ with other evidence of more local disturbances around site.

25-Dec-09
Looks like the stone wall has been disturbed, missing some rocks and if the cache is supposed to be there, we had no luck finding it.

17-Nov-09
No luck with this one. The GPS locked us onto a spot that fit the clue beautifully but couldn't find anything resembling a cache although we did find a billfold full of cards most of which were dated 1986. We'll keep an eye on this one and come back and try it again next time we're down south if it gets a successful find.

14-Nov-09
I dropped in on my way home to look for the cache, confident I knew where it was. GPS and clue took me to a point I felt sure would hold the cache but nothing was there. Either it's gone or I let my preconceived notions over-ride a proper search.

01-Oct-09
Great spot KipDog and Son's first find in Tassie easy enough to find we left a freo dockers sticker may be a collectable one day......

11:32 Found on our Touring Tassie and Beyond 2009 Trip!

A nice quick stop for us on our way north toward Strahan. The cache was located quickly, though we did stop to enjoy the views

Unfortunately with a tight schedule we couldn't stop here for long, but what we did see we enjoyed

27-Mar-09
Found this one when I was Mrs Cheesy Pig. I have struck out on my own and am now logging the caches I found in my previous persona (but not the ones found only by Mr Cheesy Pig of course)! Let me know if you would like me to find it and log it again but under my new name.

27-Mar-09
An extremely easy find.

The cache was on it's ledge with no cover at all, in full view of the public. We were surprised it was still there.

After filling in th log book we replaced it and concealed the cache.

TNLN thanx Scotty & Lochie.

09-Mar-09
Well there isn't much left of the old bridge.
Just enough to hide a cache in Big Grin
But it is a nice spot down by the riverside,
early morning before the muggles rise Smile

So after I log the cache and replace, I look out over the water and think to myself, 'so, where is the remains of the bridge'.
Then I turn around, then feel just a little bit stupid! Thanks for the cache.

Great spot, love these old bridges. TFTC

02-Jan-09
I love visiting these old structures, the stone has a more beautiful quality about it than steel. I also like observing the methods of construction, such skill is required. Thanks for showing me this great spot, it was quite a beautiful walk so early in the morning.

Cheers,

When we drove to the end of Bridge Street and I read out the sign saying 'Dedicated Dog Excercise Area', Lottie because VERY enthusiastic and called out 'I'm a dedicated dog!'. She and Scott headed off to excercise the dedicated dog while I logged out find and dropped in hi_pressure's CoinPal Blue geocoin. We took a couple minutes to look at the building around the corner, and the new construction being build to reflect the style of the older building. Nice.

Thank you for the cache!
