Good Day,

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).

I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.

Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

GeoCrater

I arrived here hoping to make it a clean sweep of the hill. I spent a good half an hour searching GZ for this Cache. I couldn't find the Cache or the throw down that the last person left. I had a good look through the structure and couldn't see it anywhere. I also had a pretty through search in the grass below thinking that it may have fallen from its perch.

The CO may want to check on this one.

I'll keep an eye on this Cache to see if the next searcher has more luck than me. It give us an excuse to revisit this area again.

After reading last couple of messages, realized it is probably missing. Found the location where cache should be and left a new container in its place with paper. Now in a green eclipse tin, head height.

Found @2:23:00 PM.

We ran most of this series today. This cache was part of our unique D/T challenge today that we succeded in completing. time was of the essence
There is no lid on the container.

Thanks to bar-bq for the cache

What a great place to hide a cache. As the previous logger noted, there is no lid and the log is wet and unusable. I replaced the bag and just added a small piece of paper to log my visit as I didn't have a notebook small enough to fit in a film cannister. Perhaps the next person can add more paper?

01-Aug-14
Log is mâché. Take a small one with you and a small bag. Stick is in place. This is a lovely trail, well maintained by the local council, Big Grin

14-Jul-14
The hide is great but was so hard to retreive as someone pushed it in so hard. Take a sturdy long stick along .

cache find # 1542.
what a lovely pleasant walk with geohubby and geoson. Just after the rain from the night before and the freshness was welcoming. Found GZ quickly, and was surprised by the cache position. Clever. TFTC.

22-Jun-14
rest a while and we did, what a great view I didn't think this part of town had such a high spot. love to idea of a mown track to makes it easier of a hide. great spot good cache but no lid oh well all was dry and safe thanks for the cache

07-Jun-14
Looking up from the cache below I thought I knew where GZ would be. Goldielover looked up and I could see her eyes widen. OH no. Anyway off we headed and were pleasantly surprised that GZ was not where I would have placed it. Another great spot and a little rest. Now off back to the geomobile.
Thanks for the nice plesant hike up here bar-bq. Loved it.

07-Jun-14
Found with stairman1. This was the last one up here. The log book was falling apart but we managed to sign the log. TFTC

26-May-14
We found this one easier enough but it took a little while to get log out to sign, and yes we did rest a while after the climb up the hills. It was very nice of you to provide such nice seats to rest on!! TFTC

17-May-14
Nearing GZ there was a shirtless muggle wandering around the track up further, not sure what he was up to but we the Nugget Clan and I kept close together (to keep safe). we sat down and enjoyed the view while scanning the area with the geokids having a closer look and we discovered the small horizontal object wedged in ready for our discovery. TFTC. Smile.

17-May-14
Good clue.. Needs maintenance lid missing. Very tight squeeze. Great cache.Smile

08-Apr-14
Unbelievable,I didn't know before I left home, but only two days prior a good friend, although have never met her, done this exact trail ,and I have to say I agree its a great walk with some great views, and I have to give this one a favorite point for the series.TFTC.

06-Apr-14
This was a great walk and I didn't find it very hard at all!! No beetles in the container today. Thanks bar-bq. A favourite point for the series.

20-Mar-14
A quick find. Cache lid appears to be gone but log is OK. Noted a family of beetles have made it home so was careful not to disturb them too much. TFTC Big Grin

26-Jan-14
I got an early start so that i had pkenty of time to enjoy this walk and grab a few caches along the way.

I arrived at this lookout and decided to find the cache and have a cuppa here before heading back to the car. Found the cache, but the log had fallen out. A quick scout around revealed it on the grass, but the bag was damaged and the log very wet. Signed and replaced back in cache. Enjoyed the view for a while with my cup of tea, then headed home. TFTC!

Nice hide but tough walk TFTC

06-Dec-13
Easy find. Thanks for the new logbook. Great views, clear morning. TFTC.

06-Dec-13
Nice but tough walk. TFTC

06-Dec-13
Beautiful area, tough walk! Almost threw up at the rest stop so the rest of the geogang found it (Jogjakarta, seedacache and Geo-Avenger). Nice hiding spot though!

01-Dec-13
A beautiful clear, sunny Sunday. Cool
So I decided to go caching and 'clear' an area. Big Grin
Loaded the GPSr with the appropriate caches and away for a relaxed day driving with the occasional small hike thrown in for good measure. [^]
A couple of caches in here that require a short walk along some 4WD tracks. A quick find here. Big Grin
Asthe previous finders have said there was no log book here. Sad But I did have one that is suitable and a bag to put it in. So now there is a log book here. Big Grin
Thanks for the cache.

Well this one threw us for a bit of a loop this evening. By the time Nyssaflutterby and I had wandered up and down along the path to this one, we had minimal photons available left in this day. A nice place to see a vivid orange sunset from though. I read through the cache page and we wandered accordingly. I wasn't seeing anything but Nyssa spotted the devil. Ah, that's a bit different. As has been noted, there is no logbook, but it is unmistakably a geocache. Photos were taken as proof and what's left replaced. +1 for the 'Needs Maintenance' log. Otherwise, a nice hide, now to get back to the car before total darkness. TFTC bar-bq Smile

04-Aug-13
This was a quick find for Captain Terror and myself after a quick read of the hint. But like the previous finders we found the cache damaged. The lid is missing and the log has disappeared. As we were far from the car we had no means of helping to fix this one. Could definitely do with some TLC from the CO. We took a photo of the cache for proof of find.

26/7/13 found it but contents are missing. Needs maintenance.

24-Apr-13
Out to finalize this quad of caches. We'd come here some time ago and found the first and third of them. Today was our opportunity for the 2nd and 4th. We made a bit of a hike of it by parking at the cul-de-sac beginning of the walk near the cache 'What a Rippa'. We walked up, and up, and then along with a few ups and downs until we got to this cache. I'm thinking of something slightly further away than what the GZ is actually, and while I pondered the walk through the long grass my muggle friend said to me: "But what about that?" It turned out she was spot on! We then decided to walk a little further on and before we knew it we'd walked right through to the end of another cul-de-sac and she decided we should then walk around the road back to the car. This MAY have saved us some hills, but there was a steep climb back to the car nevertheless. An enjoyable walk for some caches. Thanks bar-bq.

12-Dec-12
Out to enjoy the trail and a few caches. Found it quite easily. Needs maintenance though. Something large and alive had decided to take the opportunity to move into the container and the log was on the floor.

16-Oct-12
Nice area! Great place to relax! Thanks for the cache! Smile

04-Aug-12
We are getting a good workout today, but loving it...the views are great, taking it all in...Thanks again bar-bq Big Grin

02-Aug-12
Sat down to admire the view for a while. The clue was not making sense and I had read the previous log :-/ Decided to trust the GPS and bravely made my way to where it wanted me to be. Ah, now I see Smile

13-May-12
no luck with this one toady, we found all the others in the series, but this one evaded us. We didn't go hunting too much in the long grass as we had spotted a snake sunning himself on the concrete and he took off into the grass

27-Aug-11
A quick find for me. The clue makes sense. I've no idea what type of film the canister holds, smaller than the 35mm expected.
The log has been soaked and fading.

Thanks.

03-Jul-11
found it eventually...Smile

Gunnie69 & I searched & searched for this - read hints - red & re-read the logs with all the contradictions included as the cache seems to have suffered various miss-adventures in location relevant to the hint & description.

bar-bq's ears may have burned as we discussed the logic of hiding micros in this type of environment [?]

As Gunnie mentioned resorted to PaF but no answer there...

Having decided on 1 last scout around before giving up Gunnie69 stepped on something - we have it at last... Cool

Signed log & relocated to what we believe to be correct position (at least it has relevance to the hint anyway)Smile

TNLNSL

Thanks bar-bq for the cache

Kaisho53 and I spent a long time hunting this one and were on our way back to the path to head out. We had taken in the clue but could see nothing that matched. A read of the previous logs suggested to look for something different... Still nothing... Twisted

After about 30 minutes hunting, We opted for a PAF. Unfortunately, F was not available... I needed one last hunt and said to Kaisho53, "I'm heading back in". I trotted off to where I thought the cache should be and stepped on somthing I didn't feel before. There, under the growth of thick grass, was the cache... Big Grin

So, not where it was supposed to be but, it is easy to see why. I don't think it is what it used to be and has nothing to hold it in place. I reshaped one end and placed it back in a position that resembled the hint. Hmm, that has been done before right... Surprised

It won't take much to dislodge it from the spot but, it is there for now. I won't enlighten you on how many times I cursed bar-bq for placing a micro in the bush... Wink

Thanks for the challenge and for showing us this patch of bush. A pleasant stroll to and from GZ.

Cheers bar-bq.

searched for quite a while in the rain for this one my first attempt at a micro and unfortunately no success after looking under various rocks and round trees

cache wasnt where it was supposed to be but found it and put it where it should be good hide TFTC

[Mr Straddie Heaven found this one while we took Chester the Geo Border Collie for a walk. As previously stated hint is no help.] Try diagonal and on the ground not horizontal and off the ground. [TFTC]

27-May-10
Number four on this trail with Fangsoki. 2 Finds and 1 DNF so far.

After spending a while searching, this one was on it's way to DNF-ville. We re-read the clue and widened the search.

After rethinking what the clue could mean, I started looking for something else. It looks like the horizontal item in the clue is not horizontal any more. (it has had a bit of a fail)

27-May-10
Looking high and low - getting all manner of grass cuts on one's legs - this wasn't showing itself to us. Took into account the hint to no avail. The size made us change our tact a bit. After more of a hunt Radnoski came up with the goods. It would appear the hint does not really apply anymore on this Sad TFTC Bar-bq Smile

20-Feb-10
Help needed to waterproof the log, or replace the paper as it is very damp after the fall dislodged the cap.

20-Feb-10
I had some trouble with this one, I found it on the ground eventually.....well at least the lid was in the open. The ants have eaten through the water proofing and the log is now rather damp. I removed the ants and signed the log placing it back where I thought it should be. This cache could do with some work. I did the best I could with what I had on me.

03-Oct-09
A great walk to this cache. Found this one pretty easily. TFTC!

wow clever hide..............

17-May-09
Just as well we had run into Agape2 today, as we had not loaded these coordinates into our GPS. It took us a little time to locate this tricky little cache and we were beginning to think it had gone missing. TFTC Bar-bq

17-May-09
found in the company of JAT (Just a triffle), and they have undersold their find... not only did they find this on the ground (perhaps a strong wind to blame) but they helped remove a trillion ants, and restore the cache to the likely original position.. well done... great cache maintenance. feel like I was just along for the ride on this one.

TFTC.

16-Apr-09
Tried twice to find this one coming from either direction, ran out of time, had to start work ,will try again next week.

27-Feb-09
Over here from Perth on a geocaching/visit-the-family holiday. Read the hint and still took a while to find this one. Cache was infested with ants which were making a feast of spider's eggs in the lid. Great views - took some more photos. TFTC.

31-Jan-09
Sneakly little hide - we would probably have struggled on with without the clue. Log was damp but it was raining so couldn't dry it out. Great views - enjoying the walk so far!
