Over from NZ visiting and trying to get in as much caching as other commitments allow. I did most of the rat plaque back in 2017/18 but there were still a couple left to get.Today I walked a loop from our accommodation to try and clean up the Cornubia area. Did 8.5 km with 215 m elevation gain per Strava. I spent a good 20 minutes here inspecting anything that was likely to conceal a cache, but unfortunately no luck for me today. Found the hint beacon, found the golf ball, but not a cache today.... Thx anyway.

A last minute discussion sees me travelling over to the southside to meet up with two of the triple turmoil's. We had a plan to grab some target caches that we both did not have around springwood, slacks creek and daisy hill areas. It was good day and some great caches. It was also good for me as I got another cache for a challenge I have been working on, just one more now. It was an early start and nice and cool, however as the day went on it did get up the on the temp scale. The turmoil's took off and left me to continue on my day. This was my next cache and just a short walk from my parking spot. It was a simple walk and after a long search around I finally found my prize, a very appropriate cache. So happy to grab this one as it was my target cache for a challenge. Thanks for the hide and the placement.

Found quite quickly. Cache is missing its lid. We added new piece of write in the rain paper but it may not last without a lid.

Love this cache! So creative!! Unfortunately the log has gone missing and needs replacing.

Out and about collecting smilies to gain some elevation to help "Reach the Peak" for this month in the new souvenir series. Fun container, no problems locating this one.

So many muggles out today while I try and find things within the area. Glad I found this one though. Log a little wet.

Out for the day with nikid1 targeting some specific caches & whatever else we come across. I’ve managed a hole in one on the putt putt course but nikid1 made quick work of this hole in one today.

Out for a day of caching with KerriMG. There was a cache out this way we were targeting then it was just a lovely day of caching. This is a lovely area so thanks for bringing us here.
Quick find of the cache but couldn’t see any evidence of a golf course ever being nearby except for a stray golf ball.

In the area chasing a couple of old caches and this DNF was taunting me…

Even though it’s late in the day, and I’ve learnt it’s easier to redeem yourself in the morning, I was still determined to find the cache…

I don’t know how I missed it… really… the lid is missing, but apart from that the cache was unearthed quickly… the dog walking muggle didn’t even seem to notice me… that or she could play possum really well… tftc…

Catching up on some logging today, so a bit of a generic log, I'm afraid.

hatzofff decided I needed to get out.

For me this was about 10m from geo location. Cool container...expect to find this on a golf course instead! Clue is correct. Don't let this get you STUMPED. TFTC.

First time in this reserve and am loving it. The generous paths are a welcome change and am hoping they continue throughout.

This cluster of tradis looked very tempting at just five minutes away from my lodgings in Cornubia. This was the first if my circular route I'd planned. Navigating off the path and into spiderweb territory was a bit uncomfortable for me but I made it and didn't have to search very long for the cache. Unfortunately the logbook was wet so I've sent a photo to the CO. Tftc and utv

The obvious hide at GZ presented a quick find. I had to take it back to the car for some tweezers to extract the log. Thanks for the cache

Came by this cache while walking in the area. Took a bit of looking to finally find this nifty hide.
SL then returned as found.

look like missing

After reading previous logs I wasn't sure if I should waste my time today or come back when I have more time. Parked the car and off to search, GPS flapping around like a kite in the wind so I stopped and thought about where it could be. So a quick find resulted and I was able to leave my signature before returning cache to the place I had found it. TFTC

We searched high and low but couldn't find it.

Not sure if it has been misplaced but we couldn't find it?

Well with the day washed out the previous weekend, we were greeted by a sunny fine day, so we set off and collected some great smiley's around Cornubia!

This really is a nice little walk along here. It was very quiet and surprisingly, Muggle free! This was a nice quick find and a very apparent cache container!

This cache was part of a little Sunday mid-morning forest run.

It was one of those days... You know the ones. Where you just wake up and a have a craving to grab a few caches. And not only that, but a need to get out into Mother Nature and detox from the week just had.

After waking up, a quick check of the map was had, and this area stood out as a great little pocket of caches to grab. It was not far from where we were staying and with the Muggle Partner out and about, it allowed me a few hours to do a little hunting.

Cool very suprising

I had a ball getting this one. Loved it! One of my all time favourite vessels for a log. I didn't have a pen, though, so couldn't sign the log. TFTC

I have obtained a suitable container to hide the cache more securely and will replace shortly.

Currently out of the country. I will check on my return in October.

Did not find it after 1+ hours searching!

Four of us searching here and we couldn't find it. Given the difficulty rating, the photos and comments in previous logs I'm sure we were at the right spot but there was nothing there. Could the CO check on it please.

13/9/15 Out for the day with Rhyssa6, Marina 25 and Zardecoh as we work to getting Rhyssa6 her 25 Unique D/T challenge. Unfortunately a DNF for us today. We searched pretty hard. I even managed to get a stick through the sole of my shoe and into my foot, but still no cache. Hopefully just a case of cache blindness and not muggles. TFTH Straddie Heaven

Rhyssa6, KingKeyLocksmiths, Marina 25 and myself headed out today with 25 Unique D/T caches in mind so Rhyssa6 could complete a certain challenge. Even with 4 sets of eyes we couldn't find this one!

Think it's muggled as we searched and searched and read the previous logs and I think we found the spot but alas no cache, hate logging DNF

Lizard gave a sigh of relief when I pulled this cache out!

Wow, what a nice little patch of bush surrounded by the burbs. The locals are lucky to have an area like this to stroll through. I went past GZ at first and thought I had to be on the other side of the creek but I back tracked and realised my mistake. I soon spotted the geotrail and the cool hide. Log signed and replaced while hiding from a morning walker.

We were busy discussing our plan for the caches when DiamonJS decided to look for the cache and jumped 3 feet in the air. I gave a bit of a chuckle when I had a look.
I dived in and grabbed it and soon had the log in hand.

This one took us to another area we had never been. A nice walk along the path and we arrived at what we thought might be the hiding place by the hint. It was quite a surprise as to what we found there and totally appreciated. Soon had our name added to the log and replaced as found. TFTC

Our daughter (Coucho90) and her partner (Jarred86) are up baby sitting for a week and were free today to do some caches with us so there was no stopping us!!!

They were staying up this way so we arranged to meet up and grab some caches in the area most that we (Couchmen) hadn't found yet.

Having read previous logs the conversation on the way to GZ was amusing and all subject focused>

There was on thing that Geo Daughter was going to do was be first to search for this one!!!

Geo Wife spotted the likely hide location but let Jarred86 go in to find it (Maybe she was a bit put off too!!)

What we found was very pleasant and not half as bad as what had been suggested and we even had a laugh about it, thanks for the cache design SH.

Wow! Even being a bit prepared, my heart skipped a beat! Geo-kids and Flocki the mascot loved this find!

A lovely sunny Friday morning and who could resist a caching outing Decided to do a bit of a clean up in this area Can't get enough of the scent of eucalyptus oil as it warms in the morning air.

A quick find after parking nearby. The cache guardian was staring out at me and I soon found the prize in the belly of the beast No longer tethered but seems safe enough.
