Another DNF today. Looked high and low for this one and even followed the additional hint but nothing. Is it gone?

21:10 Stopped by here on the way through. Under the cover of Darkness I thought I may find it, but did not. I'm beginning to think I'm bad at caching Razz

A good cache hide although a different colour may keep it safer? Found easily and the rather nice ponds were admired. Thanks CarfordSearum Cachers.

A seriously powerful attachment mechanism at work here - hard to retrieve this one subtly. Nice spot, and the kids had fun walking over the nearby "cage" and trying not to fall through.

This was cache # 27 of 41 for the day in the company of Alansee on our Frankston,Cranbourne and Narre Warren tour, the cache was found at 1630. I like the design and thought that goes into these new parks and i liked the cache. My thanks to CarfordSearum Cachers for the cache.

We learned some interesting facts about recycled water here while waiting for a muggle and her canine to leave the area. Once she had left the cache was found quickly.

Thanks CarfordSearum Cachers for the cache.

We had to look at the birds and chicks on the lake while waiting for the muggle youths who were hanging out at GZ to leave. A quick look around had the cache in hand. Thanks for the cache in a nicer than usual park.

Another cache on the way home and armed only with the iPhone program it would be interesting to see how things go.
The google map section did a good job and we switched over to compass mode at around 40 metres. Again the compass froze at around 20 metres and after the back and forward toggle of screens i could get around 10-11 metres at the best.
Referring to the hint we were able to find the cache easily and with a quick field note entry we were on our way in no time.
Oour thanks to the Carford Searum Cachers for a quick cache, the coordinates were fine but the iPhone needs some work.

A return visit today had mrs38 finding this one even before I had the chance to show her the spots I’d managed to search during my previous visit! SL at 2:30pm. I pegged most of the houselot boundaries in this estate, and can vividly remember this reserve being just a paddock! The waterplants are so established now, and the waterbirds have certainly settled in! Nice hide. Thanks CarfordSearum Cachers for the cache! By the look of that BBQ hotplate, I'd still give having a fry-up a miss! (see our previous log). Regards, 38degsouth.

Just an early start to the day at this nice park. It was a bit too early for any muggles, so the cache was in hand quickly. Signed, and we were off to Phillip Island for a hard day's caching.
Thanks, Robmc.

First one for the day on the way down to Phillip Island. Just happened to see this on the radar as we trundled past.
Thanks indeed

We found our 1st CarfordSearum Cachers cache at 5:15pm as the 11th of 12 on our Mornington Peninsula caching afternoon. Our 4th cache in this estate. An easy pick up but I felt for the previous cacher who had trouble. Do not despair, every new type of cache hide that you come across gives you a good database to call on in future searches. There are lots of caches that are hidden in this way so once you have this one, others like it will be a snip. Note that the cache page says that it is a micro, which means that you are looking for a cache container that will basically fit easily onto the palm of your hand. Hopefully the cache owner may add a hint as in these types of hides, anyone looking around for a good deal of time will draw attention to what they are doing there which may ultimately shorten the life expectancy of your cache. Thanks for the cache from D & H B-A.

I/We went to the park and found the gazebo and according to my GPS was within one metre of the thing!! I thought about the clue but it really didn't make a lot of sense to me. I don't spend a lot of time with four year olds!?

I/we looked all around but nothing. I didn't want to linger too long so left. Any additional advice?

Thanks,

TeamCGS

Found by Bob at 1135

I was in the area doing a bit of car shopping and thought I'd clean up the 3 new caches that have popped up since my last visit. I haven't been to this spot before (although I think Chookie's old "Stamps" cache may have been nearby) but thought it was a really lovely little park with a lake that shows no sign of being affected by the drought. I found the cache easily, but had to wait a bit before returning it as a toddler who had been sitting with his mother near the water had decided to toddle over and check out what the bikie-guy was up to (I wonder why motorbikes/motorcyclists hold such fascination for kids?). Eventually, his mother called him away and I was able to replace the cache.

Thanks CarfordSearum Cachers - a lovely spot

An interrupted search this evening, so this one will have to wait for another time. I did find that a thoughtless person had put dog poo on the bbq hotplate - you may want to reconsider your bbq plans! Regards, 38degsouth.

Found @ 1610 after finding another cache nearby. A few muggles were lingering about so checked out the lake before settling in at GZ to find cache and sign the log.

Whilst browsing my emails tonight, up popped the notification of a new cache. Knew the area, so we grabbed the GPS and headed out in the pouring rain. Found GZ and the cache OK, then found we had no pen, Arrgh back to the car to ransack the glovebox till we found one. Took Pathtag, left nothing (no room!!)
thanks CarfordSearum Cachers for the first of many new ones we hope.
