Checkedit out, and it would appear muggles can find stuff that is very well hidden.... will replace with appropriately safer type soon. Sad

A mere year after we had sussed out the puzzle and been given the green light with the co-ords, we were back to seek out our prize. Alas, no sign of it. Pretty sure we were looking in the right spot, it seemed to agree with the cryptic hint.

Glad it was a nice day to wander around. Took quite a while to sort it all out and eliminate the unlikely. Nice little hide at the final too. Thanks.

Having visited the plaque a number of times it has become a cache that we just had to solve on this final visit, and we were very pleased to do so!
Only one left to do in Ashburton now Big Grin

Yay 2TF after all this time.

The puzzle was the tricky part, its definitely open to interpretation.

The ones we had the most trouble with was number two, we came up with so many answers but got it right thankfully.

Also be careful with number 3, the large stone one reads differently from the small metal one in front of it.

Number 4 is also different depending on which one you read, however there really is only one solution, which is the one we tired first but wanted to check by trying a few other interpretations of what it could mean.

Over all a very good puzzle, the cache itself was exposed and easily visible from a few meters away, i muddied it up a bit so it isn't too obvious but should still stand out to cachers.

Went and saw and discovered all well still. So its still running. Happy hunting. Added some hints.

It would appear the local muggles have a penchant for attacking nature. we will check it out and if not alright, relocate it slightly.

We came, we hunted,
but our brains were munted,
so photos we took
to take home to look.
On the clues we pondered,
Some answers we wondered.
So an email dispatched:
Have our co-ordinates matched?
In a blink of an eye,
Came back the reply.
To our delight,
our numbers were right!
On the next visit down
to Ashburton town
foremost in our mind,
patient soldiers to find

We could not work out what Q2 was on about and Q5 resulted in an argument so we moved on. Had a nice picnic lunch nearby however.

Tricky puzzle to solve as well. don't plan on completing this one in 10 mins! TFTC, well done on a great cache
PS be liberal in your northerly direction!
