As previous finders have noted, the machinery is gone, but the cache remains. A quick find for EsromL and I this morning. Thanks howie_sf for the cache.
Not sure about what type of structure I would find, I headed north this morning. The cache page has some wonderful photos but none of those machines were encountered. All that’s left at GZ are bits of wood, metal and stone strewn over the area. I doubt whether this Phoenix will rise from its flames. Despite the amount of undergrowth, I was lucky enough to make a reasonably quick discovery and found the container in good nick.
Tftc Howie_sf, another ‘mystery’ cache added [:p]

This was a clever hide. this cache may need to be relocated sa it looks like the there is a clearing of the site. pity the machinery has been removed. TFTC
Found on my way home from work,

Clear skies.

FOUND IT!
Would never go near this site in the middle of summer. This is SNAKE territory especially where this cache is hidden.

Found the cache - the log book was soaked through and needs replacing.
Glad i did the cache now instead of snake season though.

Have been back to this one many of times and always felt yuck trying for the cache, nearby buisness kept watching us and all over grown. But today armed with knowledge from a friend we came back and decided not to leave until we had it.
It payed off and after ages searching we found what we were after.
Thanks for the cache, so glad I dont have to come back at all.

what a pile and nicely overgrown too loked at it and thought Riggs i'm too old for this waiting for snakes but found with ease took octopus left army man
A snake trap in the waiting. Searched the gz carefully, until eagle eye Hoochi spotted it, and gingerly retrieved it. Second half of cache was on the ground, so placed it where it looked like it should be, with a small stone holding it in place. And yes, that Ettamogah pub style unit on the house is a bit weird, isn't it? Took nothing, left kangaroo. TFTC.
Found as part of the Great YP Caching Blitz by Team Waldron, Trail06 and Moses On the Move.
110 caches were attempted in 17 hours actual caching.
We found both parts easily but with some trepidation as we feared the snakes might be about.
Thanks to all cache owners.

This was one the first of 100 or so caches in a big YP trip with Team Waldron & Moses on the Move and Co. It was an excellent hide and quick find which is what was required today. TFTC. TNLN.
Certainly some interesting things around. I have driven past the house several times and always asked WTF. TFTC.
Didn't take long to locate the cache. Very sneaky way of having to then log the find. Still, it kept myself and the Wife busy for about 10minutes.

We found the cache box but couldn't find the log book container. We hunted but couldn't find it so we kind of found it but we didn't at the same time. TNLN Geo kid had a great time climbing on the machine.
An interesting piece of machinery. I'm not sure why this is a puzzle, or what the hint means, but I signed the log after Jardry's entry, so I am hopeful that I found the right cache!
An interesting bit of gear. I wonder what sort of era it's from. No idea what the hint was on about.

Found the right area - the Rusty Machine & the House on the House - but couldn't find the Cache - Might try this one again some time.
Find# 447
1st find of the day.
Took: Nothing / Left: Nothing
Having read the description I was looking for a 200ml sistema container, without much luck. Resorted to reading the clue, which initially didn't offer much help. Spied something sort of masonry, but not quite, and found the cache. There is a twist with this cache which I am not at liberty to reveal.
One of a number of finds over the Easter 2009 weekend on our way to Coobowie caravan park for the long weekend. Thanks for the cache!

At first could not see this one. Took a second look to see it. Well done, well hidden.
It wasn't such a quick find on the way to St Kilda. The hints we pondered and pondered while looking. Not sure if they helped or hindered.....
After searching, with 2 pairs of eyes and hands, the pesky little cache was found.

Found at 13:20.
Took a while to find. It turns out I'd seen the cache but discounted it. Fortunately Josie had a more thorough look. Only found the log though. Not sure what this talk of a separate cache is about.

First find for the day. Enjoyed seeing the house on house again. TNLNSL.

found the first part on dec 20, decided to leave after having a farmer watch me, finally got back this way to sign the log. TFTC.
We worked out where this one was a while ago while speaking to winterdragon at a Christmas event, and only just now managed to get back here for another look on the way to the YP. Had no problems this time, didn't even hear any sudden flicking noises from under the pile! TFTC.
Have driven past this many a time, but not noticed it before [|)].
Found the cache easy enough, but spent a few minutes more to locate the log book .
TNLNSL.
Thanks howie_sf.

Now is this a find or not, Found the cache at original coordinates, but couldn't find the log.
Finding the cache was easy since I knew exactly where to look, the logbook on the other hand required a little more time
Got a chance to have a good look over the machinery as well this visit.
Cheers, TFTH.

The last coupla times I was near here it was too too mugglish. Today was the day. Wpt1 found in record time and the trek to GZ was not too bad - no muggles there either!
Interesting apparatus. Definately off the Astro bucket list now. ...and a bronze after all this time. Now that's cool. [^]
Clear skies to howie from TeamAstro.
Silver to the frog nation at 10.05am. Going to be seriously late for my appointment at Gawler!!
As this was supposed to be a quick(ish) find I have updated the clue. Happy hunting
Looked around for a while then the muggle farmer came asking questions.... didnt look happy so we took off. Maybe another day.
Found the site easily enough; the only other thing we found was a redback spider. Wherever the cache is it is well hidden. Might try again.
Finally, a lunchbreak long enough for a return visit to this spot, to find out why the new cache is causing so much grief. I found the cache container pretty quickly - right where the original had been . Unfortunately, that was also about the point that I discovered why this was now a mystery cache, and that I couldn't log my find just yet . The next bit took about 20 minutes of hunting until I finally found what I was looking for.
TNLN - Thanks howie_sf !
You'll have to excuse me now, I need to go off for a while and bask in the warm glow of smug self-satisfaction at my *FTF*!

Not sure why this is a mystery cache, but after half an hour searching GZ I came up with nothing. Any Ideas?
Well theUmp and the spot intrigued me enough to go for a lunch time run north.
No joy for me either, although snakes was always at the back of my mind.
Besides the house on the house, I've always wondered what the structure is at the corner[?]

I stopped here on the way to get an FTF way out at Dublin, and searched around the elevator for about 20 minutes before hearing lots of 'flicking' noises going through the grass and rubbish nearby. That alone convinced me to stop searching and move on. Came back later for another look to test some theories on the clues, but ended up being unable to make any sense out of them.
