Sadly, more damage to the cache found today. Container snapped into two pieces and found lying on the floor.

Maintenance on this container is becoming too common as enough care is not taken when finding.

So, as much as this pains me, it's time for this one to be put to bed.

Great hide. Didn't send the geokids in for this one but sure had fun myself. TFTC

Really cool container. Our first cache in Australia.

Thanks for the cache Gunnie69

The cut and paste bit.
We are on a trip from South Africa to the East. First stop Singapore to visit family including a weekend trip to Batam Island, Indonesia. After that we fly to Brisbane, Australia, drive down to Sydney and then back to Singapore. A week with our children and grandchildren and then back home via a stop over in Dubai.

Thanks to all the COs that made our trip more enjoyable. Greetings from South Africa

Found it but certainly wasn't a drive by for me. A muggle pulled up in his car directly outside GZ not long after I arrived and sat and sat and sat...I was originally in the garden when he pulled up - which must have looked weird. So I went back to my car and I sat and sat and sat. Then I drove back down the road and got some McDonalds! Then came back and sat some more (because he was still here). Eventually he got out of his car, put a suit jacket on and crossed the road. I thought, "Beauty, now is my time" but he didn't leave the footpath. By this time, I thought I had the cache figured out. So muggle eventually went away & I went in and made my swipe. Trickier was figuring how to open correctly. But I did and replaced as found. Also dropped a TB (Captain's Flat Trail #1) to earn some extra points in the Mary Hyde challenge.

Nice quick find.
Have a favourite point for the construction & placement.

I've been farting all day!

Another modification implemented and cache back in place.

Last chance for this one. If people cannot take the 10 seconds to put it back as found and treat the cache with respect, it will be archived.

Please treat the cache as you would like others to treat yours.

10-Jun-17
Picked up to see what is going on. It feels like the inner container is stuck on first play, which is odd.

Not sure if I will return this one, or recycle the container to a placement that is a little less troublesome. I drop past GZ regularly and almost every time, I have to put the cache back in its correct position.

Standby for next comms... [^]

03-Jun-17
Found cache which was not where it should have been, no log in cache. Sent a photo of findings off to CO to confirm it was the cache before I logged it. Looked about the area to see if I could find a log anywhere but no such luck. TFTC

28-Apr-17
Back in place.

27-Apr-17
All shiny and new, with a modification to mitigate the risk of further damage through repeat of the previous replacement error.

It would be very much appreciated if finders could take the 1.2 seconds to ensure the cache is the correct way up before returning.

Replace as found, that would work too... Wink

21-Apr-17
Container removed for a tidy up.

17-Apr-17
Managed to etch date and CA on the log. Great hide . Tftc

16-Apr-17
Nice cache but needs maintenance. Log is floating around in water and impossible to sign. Left a 200 rupiah coin instead.

16-Apr-17
It's frustrating that some find the concept of "replace exactly as found" a little difficult. I cannot get to GZ for at least a week or so, so any finders in the meantime will have to put up with the mess.

16-Apr-17
Log is floating around in water and impossible to sign

15-Apr-17
Fantastic cache - thank you! Looks like someone put it back upside down and everything got wet – the Log is soaked and needs replacing please Smile

13-Apr-17
Found it a sneaky hide in plain view

This is my first film canister in Australia. We have a lot of them in England but I haven't come across any mint tins there.

1/3/17, 1:03 pm Find #625

After completing a few of the Fig Tree Pocket caches, NyssaFlutterby and I made a slight detour (intentional or not) to the next exit along the freeway and I happened to ask if there were any caches here as we have come off at this point. She mentions this one, so I pulled on up and noticed a very interesting item indeed, that looks like it belongs but at the same time doesn't.

I recall the old days of the Amazon water park here, many a school breakup day was spent enjoying the slides and perhaps getting a little sunburn. It was a sad day for many when it was closed down.

Back to the cache tho, a nicely constructed hide, one of the best of these that I've seen. Thanks for the cache Ozibags (Gunnie69).

23-Feb-17
Out with RoddyC, KerriMG and Selva Girls although Selva Girls had found this before. Quick find here, but loved the cache container. Believe it was upside down, so have corrected this (hope we are correct in this assumption, although SG thought so too from memory).
Have a FP for engineering Gunnie69.

23-Feb-17
A caching day arranged with Selva Girls, Nikid1 and KerriMG. Unfortunately Mrs RoddyC had to work today so I represented our team. We cached in the Mount Ommaney area for a few, then across to Sinnamon Park. Altogether we visited eighteen geocaches, and RoddyC was able to log fourteen of those as finds for the five hours we were out. The others we had visited beforehand. I also dropped off five TBs to continue their journeys.

Been here many times in my working life to install POS systems into the DFO. Back now for a different purpose. Hmmm - that looks a bit unusual. Close to something we have seen many times before.

Log signed & replaced again. Found at 10.45am on 23rd February 2017. TFTC, Gunnie69.

23-Feb-17
Out for the day with Nikid1, Mr RoddyC & Selva Girls.
This was our 5th cache of the day & we were very lazy & drove the 120m up the road from where we'd parked for the previous cache!
I had a pretty good idea of what we might be looking for here & it never hurts to have a previous finder in your group! We quickly discovered the very impressive cache, signed our names & replaced it.
TFTC Gunnie69, very well done!

11-Feb-17
Had come away and found on the ground. Put back where it looked like it went. TFTC

Smile very cool.
I parked at the DFO, and went for a walk. A little lizard had made itself at home in the larger container, so I got a bit of a fright... cute

11.40am. At the end of a walk along the river. Have seen similar hides before so this was a quick find. It was obviously not placed as it should be so I stuck it back in place. Fav Point.
Thank You. David and Noeline.

TFTC nice quick and easy one despite some GPS bounce. Off to DFO now

New log added and cache back in place.

***PLEASE REPLACE EXACTLY*** as you find it...

10-Jun-16
I don't understand how the log can get wet on this one. The design is such that moisture and water should never get in... [?]

Anyway, I have removed the container to fix it up and it will be back in place soon.

03-Jun-16
Such a clever hide

Easter Sunday geocaching out west. TFTC.

02-Mar-16
Decided it was about time i found this one. I have been here previously, but didn't have the headspace to stop and look.

I'm always surprised how this place continues to operate as there always appear to have less and less stores each time i visit - i guess it means a generally quieter location these days to grab a cache. Wink I do think Amazons was much more appealing back in it's day though.

Having a bit of an idea what i was looking for, I was soon parked alongside. Spied what i needed from the car and soon had it retrieved and the log book signed. All good with this one, a really clever hide - Thanks! Smile

29-Feb-16
First time the sharpie has been out in a while (not that you need it, it's just my cache pen). Cool camo. Tftc! Shining new log too Smile

18-Jan-16
Awesome camouflage! Logs are in several pieces and a little crumbly. Wish we brought a fresh one to put in. Thank you for the fun cache!

26-Dec-15
Peak time for juggles but I decided to go look for this one sort looking because of muggle I sat down in the shade waiting for a quite pierod in the muggles as I went to stand up I put my hand on it and didn't even know it and it came off in my hand so stayed where I was signed the log and return it to the same place great hide and I found it on the busiest bay of the year it feels like

TFTC. Over the ditch for a family deck party and needed to do a job in Jindalee. Oh no problem for me to go there I said, knowing this cache was close by. It was the 'stand back and look' technique that worked for me. A lovely cache indeed and my first this trip.
A favourite vote from me.
Thanks Gunnie69 for placing the cache.

11-Jul-15
First find since getting back from Melbourne. Had me stumped and I had to stop looking after the owner of the car parked behind me sat in their car for 15 minutes. After resuming the search I was about to give up before getting a clue from one of the previous logs. A hunch turned out to be correct and I had the cache in hand. Genius. For that a favourite point. Signed and returned. TFTC.

Pleased to say that the cache is fine and exactly as designed... [^] A little out of place when I dropped by, but everything is as it's meant to be so I popped it back in place and left it for the next visitor.

Please replace exactly as found.

27-Feb-15
Found lying on the ground broken. Not sure where it is meant to be. Log dry and safe but outside container not secure.

Visiting a physio nearby for my wife. I took my 4 month old boy for a walk in a sling while she was treated.

24-Jan-15
Spotted immediately as it was hanging loose from the hide location. signed abd replaced with obvious assistance engaged

This was the first for a little cycling geoadventure with geogramps and the geonephews. Their eyes aren't quite yet geotrained but this was a good one to get us started on this drizzly afternoon! TFTC! Smile

03-Jan-15
I was just searching for new caches in the area to take my boys to and saw this little one missing a smilie. Somehow I must have missed logging it last year. I had been out exploring with Dr_pepi, who had recently discovered this one and suggested the challenge for me. It seems it had taken her some time to find it and she was a bit taken aback I think when I picked it out straight away. A little tricky to remove the canister, but my signature is there. Sorry for the delay in logging.

18-Dec-14
Love a clever 'out in the open' hide. Also love a 'car cache' on a super hot day. Thanks

15-Nov-14
Had to bring geogranddaughter to Centenary High for rehearsals. As we were a little early, we decided to find a cache first. Smile At GZ, geogranddaughter and muggleson were a little confused about what and where to search. I decided to look where I thought I would hide a cache. Sure enough, there it was. Smile Log signed and cache safely returned to its hiding spot.
