DNF. We looked in all the obvious spots... and then all the not-so-obvious ones too! But no luck. If we can't find it, it might as well be invisible because I had an army-level searcher with me and two very un-trained (but enthusiastically determined) terriers in tow. Still couldn't sniff it out!
Cleared a hell of a lot of ground and foliage from the tree, unable to find. XPRDx
Im back in Darwin visiting family. At the big tree, I found a great place to hide a cache but there was nothing there. I poked all around the tree with a stick, but nothing. There are signs (rubbish) that Muggles have been here.
Early morning walk along the foreshore - beautiful beach. Not too many people here and all clothed. Quick find at gz. Thanks for the hide.
Travelling with richlink on a trip from Perth to Darwin and return through the centre to SA and home again. They were all fully clothed here today. Thanks NTSTROM.
Holidaying in Darwin and what a beach to come too. Cashe was signed and returned where found. TFTF
On holidays up in Darwin, thought id try out the nuditity on the beach, but didnt last long as nobody else was nude and i started to feel weird.. so clothes back on and i headed out to the cache.. quickly found and the log was signed.. thanks for the hide..
Today we walked and walked in Casuarina Coastal Reserve along the many trails, finding Darwin's first 'power' trial and completing it along with some other caches in the reserve. Some caches were easier to find than others, some were in prickly bush areas, others searching amongst the debris. No nudists bathing today. TFTC
Going under that big bushy tree was cool. The cache was pretty easy to find too TFTC
On holiday here in Darwin, we got up early to do a walk along a few trails in this area before it becomes too hot.
The walk in to GZ was beautiful, with spectacular mangroves around.
At GZ, we made our way through the undergrowth where we were able to sign the log with no one being aware of our presence.
Thanks NTSTROM

On my way to Perth via Darwin with a few detours for LGAs. TFTC.
Finishing the trek down this road with an interesting finish. Awesome trees.

& I here in Darwin on a whirlwind visit before the whole world closes due to COVID . This being our 2nd one in the NT my partner in crime was alover this! It ended being a quick find which was great. Thanks for the location, cache & placement.
With the hint this was a quick find. Managed to sign the log and get bitten by only one green ant. Pretty good outcome
Great bike ride along here. The vegetation looked a bit daunting at first but being a hardy bushwalker....cache was completely covered by leaf foliage. It's in good condition.
I've been working at a mine site south of here for two weeks. With a night in town before flying out, a couple of caches were in order.
Raced down here as the red Darwin sun headed for the horizon and arrived at the beach just in time to..... just miss it. Nevermind. A few quick selfies with the remaining sunlight wearing my beach appropriate outfit and a quick cache. Found by torchlight.
There used to be a cache like this at a similar beach close to home, but I never managed to find that one before the raised eyebrow brigade put and end to that..

Found by the 'other' big tree close to GZ after a bit of head scratching! No nude selfies today the dry season mornings are way too cold!!! TFTC
Found after a sweaty search. Covered with leaves. Who would have thought it would be so hard to find a stick (that wasn't rotten) in a forest.
Came here today on our last day in Darwin on holiday for our 11th wedding anniversary. Stumbled on this lovely beach on day 1 first thing and had to come back again. Of course we adhered to the dresscode required! Went for a longer walk than we thought we were going to and did not wear suncream we are now very sunburnt. Thanks for a memorable morning. Placed a trackable to commemorate our Darwin adventure.
A nice stroll along the track and I easily spotted a shady spot for a search. Great spot but not GZ. Once in the right spot the cache was found in very good order,
thanks NTSTROM.
thanks NTSTROM.
Decided to come out and do this walk before continuing our adventures down along the west coast. Thanks to all for placing and maintaining caches along this area.
This was a nice find today
I was geocaching in this area last time I was in Darwin which is approximately 2 years ago. It's a nice area, so once again I decided to come bake on bike and find some more caches
It was rather a long bike ride for about 7 hours and I made sure to say in the shade as much as possible. As usual the back pack was fully loaded with water, hat, sun block and mosquito repellent, so I could enjoy the ride . Of course the camera was brought along too, so I could take lots of picture of the beautiful view and all the pretty birds here .
I had 'feared' that the cache would be closer to the beach, but I was spared for any bad sightings and could go straight to the cache which was easily found due to the nice hint The cache is doing well!
Thanks a lot for the cache

On our way to inspect the nudist beach we grabbed a few smileys as an excuse to be here. Ha ha. TFTC
Now visiting Darwin after the Red Centre Experience.
Mr Felix was at a loose end today whilst Mrs Felix was in hospital. No guesses what he chose to do whilst waiting. [:o)]
So the report given back after today's caching was I hate green ants and thorny bushes, and every cache seems to come with flies or mosquitoes. Geez you'd think he didn't have fun, but that's just not true.

25/02/2017 1:17:00 PM - Geez it's hot and very humid for me out here...maybe I should go for a swim? I'll just take a looksy over there first
So after looking over that way I figured I'd better look over there for the cache...nice to be under some shade so I took my time, had swig of water, signed the log and wandered off. The trail to the beach has gotten busy...maybe I left too soon?!
Thanks NTSTROM Cache is good condition and is hidden in a great location.

Yes, it's holiday time Great to be back in the Northern Territory again. Todays plans had us on the East Point for sunrise and now this beach area. The kiddies were with Granny, so the geo wife and I took the chance to grab some finds. We didn't realise there was a nudist beach here. The coast was clear today. The hide was found after negotiationing our way in. Stamped and returned as found.
[blue]Thanks for this trad cache hide, NT Strom. [^]
Log and container in good condition.
Took Nothing, Left Nothing [/blue]

Seeing a nude motorbike rider while exploring with my girlfriend, what a sight!
Cool cache find. Somehow I took the longest and hardest route to the GZ - the jungle route. Lots of bugs and scratches to show for it. Swapped a blue rubber ball in exchange for a Luke skywalker.
Out for an early morning walk along the foreshore and this was a quick find. I chose to keep my clothes on today.

Taking a stroll (in the humidity) up the beach to acquire this series of caches and collect the clues for "Monster". Dropped in to get this one while on the mission for Monster. In Darwin visiting my children and granddogs. SL TNLN TFTC.
Saw a bloke on the beach but didn't get close enuf to see what/if he was wearing bathers!

I definitely kept my clothes on for this one and kinda wished I had more on.... the grass was long and just starting to seed.... which duly attached to every item of clothing I had on. found the cache and signed the log. TFTC
"Popped in" on way back from GC4Z4AH FrankenSmiley - The Monster.
Also tempted with GA0337!
Also tempted with GA0337!
Found with nk64 and the usual crew. Not a tricky find, but watch out for the wasps! Glad I kept my clothes on for this one! TFTC
Found with Mum and Dad and Abby_too. And mafiagrl and nk64. Mafiagrl got stung by a wasp near GZ so watch out. Lucky mum had stingoes
Found the tree and walked around it for a while was evening and quite dark in the bushes. TFTC 4 January 2014 topendteam
#1090 - 18:30; The nineteenth and last found during a pleasant late afternoon walk from Lee Point south towards civilisation, then back along the beach, where a nudist was spotted doing what nudists do on nudist beaches I suppose. A pleasant trek all round. TFTC NTSTROM
A nice spot for a camp - a pillow, bag and sleeping bag! So I made lots of noise!!
A wonderful morning to set off for a walk along one of Darwin's great walking tracks.
We started at Lee point and headed down the trail towards the hospital.
We took some new geocachers on a bit of a 'how to' tour. Looks like they have caught the bug too!
The overhead trees were great shade from the hot sun as the day started to heat up.
Thanks to the CO's for the wide variety of caches, it makes the next hide exciting!
Cheers for bringing us non-Darwin folk to a place we otherwise would not have visited.

Keep an eye out for the Muggle that has called a nearby tree home for a while.
He came back while we were there but he was completly dis interested in us.

I wasn't going to do this cache, but walked right past it in my way back to car after completing the CCR. TFTC
Sooooooo I've never been to a nudist beach, but I think they're FASCINATING! The image I have of those who go is of an individual that is care-free, comfortable with themselves to no end, and lives life to the fullest. At first JokinJo94 wasn't too keen on visiting near GZ, until I told her there was a geocache nearby - then she was sold and off like a .... well you get the point. No body was on the beach but I still enjoyed stepping foot on the beach just knowing that this is a place where people can be ... people and not judged or gawked or restricted - just live LIFE!!! [^] We arrived in time to watch the sunset slip behind the watery horizon. Beautiful ... and I kept thinking where else can you see the sun and a moon at the same time on such frequent occasion?! TFTC - it truly was pleasurable.
A long walk into this one which is why we've been putting this one off but well worth it for another August cache and souvenir ... Thanks NTSTROM 4TC
Today, we drove out to Lee Point to do the CCR Trail and a few others in the area.
Cache found easily.
As it was a cloudy day, the beach was bare like the patrons that are normally there.
Thanks for the cache, NTSTROM.

Took the thorny way in and the easy way out. All quiet here today. Thanks NTSTROM
I was out for yet another bike ride around the north of towne today
I missed out on the detour to the nudist colony yesterday and so had to try again this morning
Of course I know that the term "nudist beach" in Australia is nothing to get excited about
The only nudists in OZ are the over sixties who for some reason that only psychiatrists might know about, have lost all inhibition and wander around unclad through the bushland [:o]
With the exception of Noosa, all nudist beaches are old age pensioner, clothes off zones
But enough of my dreams of an Aussie utopia full of beaches where scantily clad twenty something's cavort around on the sand ... there was the serious business of finding a geocache !! [:o]
Stepping off the pusbbike nearby, I slowly removed my bike helmet
Ooooh !! I feel naked without it
I snuck into the bushes and vines before anyone could see me
And after a couple of laps of GZ, I found me a cache [^]
Well that was fun !!

# 3498. Our first day caching by bicycle in Darwin. We took a little detour to the left to try to find this one. Mmm, some of these spots were tricky to get to without ripping bike tops. Got there in the end though. Didn't peek over the sand dunes to see if there were any brave souls on the beach today. TFTC
Borrowed a couple of bikes, and set off just before lunch for a short ride up the coast with Bettyboo3747.
Clothes are certainly NOT optional when looking for these caches! We had enough trouble with the wait-a-while fully clothed without worrying about anything else!
A good clue lead to a quick find.
Nice track down from the Power Trail to grab this cache.
Thanks, Robmc.

Didn't bother with the nudie bit. It would not have been a pretty sight!
Besides, you wouldnt want any dangly bits caught up in those vines!
Nice hide

Clothes definitely required due to dense vegetation and lots of bitey things. Did get a strange look from some passing muggles as my muggle cousin and I exited the bush.
There were quite a few vehicles in the car park but all was quiet around GZ. We opted to stay dressed as australian vegetation has too many thorns, vines and biting insects! TFTC
This was our 11th cache in our caching run today - and we found it at around 10:46.
(So this is our 4667th total find.)
We opted to remain fully clothed for this one. (Nobody wants to see a couple of overweight pale oldies anyway.
Took: Nothing
Left: Bling Ring
Thanks NTSTROM for the hunt today.

1030 GAFF3 Out cycling Darwin's harder caches. (Had already got my 'smiley' for a GA cache in Nelson Bay, so wasn't going to get another today), but thanks for the offer.
