TFTC. Interesting to visit and read the headstones especially, those of the early settlers and sailors.
Headed over to Yorkes for some R&R and to Cache...Wow, the Wind and flies are intense!! A quick find in this peaceful place. Container was manked so replaced with a new one. TFTC
No wind no rain some sunshine under the bikes and Ill just do some fines. Nice quick easy one to get the day going.
To escape the scorching heat this long weekend, the family and I have decided to head down to Port Victoria for the coasts and coolness (just kidding its also going to be unbearably hot here too). But when we head to new places, of course we have to head to new geocaches too. Theres nothing better than caching and catching the coastal spectacles (okay well maybe thats not all true, but its still undeniably cool). This is the fifteenth of many for the Port Victoria hunt. A quick find and a quick getaway. Made sure to pay my respects before and after this encounter. May this geocache be blessed with the vernal breeze of the waters abound! TFTC! #87
Found this one a while ago with friends. Fun find but it was on the ground when we found it so we put it back in its spot
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location.
(HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do.
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.
Devilish
Brilliant and Clever
I like it
Another one off the list

Our last day caching from Maitland with iluvtrekking. Still chilly but no rain. No activity here so a quick find. Thanks for the hide.
We spent the morning caching around Port Victoria before heading into the well recommended local pub for lunch. Unfortunately the chef was having a sicky so we headed to another recommended pub….the Yorke Valley in Maitland and were not disappointed with our meals.
Caching in beautiful Port Victoria on a glorious, calm, sunny day was very enjoyable. We had to leave the traditional cache opposite the pub for another day as a caravan was parked there with the owners enjoying their lunch looking at the great views.
Many thanks for the hide Rocky Glen Grommets

A short stop here today, managed to find the cache nicely hidden and all is well
With 2.5 days free and nothing to do, what better than to head to the yorke peninsula for a few days. I made a plan of trying to clean up majority of the caches on the peninsula going from cache to cache. Managed to come away with only a few left and 247 finds for the few day trip.
Thanks for the cache

Day 285 (Tuesday 9th) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Maitland today. A total of 1 for the day and 5624 for the trip. TFTC
Out on a caching run today with goingplaces2 and we had a successful day. Found all the caches we looked for and signed all logs. TFTC.
It was a shorter caching day today with ilook4geo, as the day also includede 4 hours visiting time with family, which was really good too. All caches found were in good condition, with plenty of room on each log for more caching names. None were difficult to find, each log had two more names (or initials) added and we were on our way again. Our thanks go to Rocky Glen Grommets for adding to the caching game by placing this cache.
Found this with CherryRose just as the sun was setting on a beautiful evening. TFTC TNLNSL
Found out with Beary Organised just on dusk & it was lying out in the open. TFTC TNLNSL

So many caches, so little time! This is one of a variety of caches we were able to find before making our way to Port Wakefield, the first overnight stop on our journey home. Our "last stop" in PV, for today.
Thanks to 'Rocky Glen Grommets' for the hunt and cache placement

Team SWAGJJ is visiting the Yorke Peninsula this week to complete the geo art and collect traditionals, multis and other types along the way. Seeing some amazing country side and views as well. Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches.
Yorke Peninsula Day 4: Last day on the peninsula, so we decided to make a big dint into the fishing line today - up before dawn and collecting caches at a very rapid rate. Got as far as we could do while staying sane, then went on to collect a bunch of other cache in the area. All logs signed as the group "SWAG-JJ". TFTC!
Travelling down from Queensland with my fellow cachers Snickersallan, Waz and Vik, Ardom, Gcoven and JooJoo57. We have planned a week long adventure to collect all the geoart, the fishing line and anything else we can get. Thanks for the cache!
Day 4: Time to hit the Fishing Line. Collected a few others as we avoided the drizzle and visited small towns to drop some tourist dollars in.

Looked around the cemetary but didnt find it by the big tree i thought it was supposed to be at
We've had a house in Pt Vic for 10 years, but I'd never visited the cemetery. Thanks Ricky Glen Grommets for remedying that
I'm staying in Moonta for Easter and today I decided to go for a drive south to get some caches that have been placed since I was last here as well as a few others along the way. [^]
I worked out my route so I didn't have to do too much back tracking and I set off on a lovely day for caching.
I had a great day driving along some cool dirt roads criss crossing the peninsula and ended up with 26 finds and no DNF's which I was very pleased about as I had had a frustrating day yesterday.
An easy find right where the hint said. [^]

Found with Team Waldron on a drizzly cold winter afternoon. The caching was great fun and your cache contributed to a great day of fun. TFTC.
Day 3, camped at Minlaton, and took a drive to Curramulka & Port Victoria.
We picked up a good variety of caches, some a little trickier to find than others.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Rocky Glen Grommets, for us and others to find.

Traveling from Yorketown to Kadina today, only 130km by the shortest route, but that's not how geocachers travel it took me all day! Lots of detours and dirt tracks explored, great scenery, and a lot of fun finding caches along the way.
Another good find here, many thanks for placing a cache for others to find [^]

Found while on YP as part of the Reef and Wreck diving expedition for AV2015, 16th Australian Venture.

We ventured out on this windy day for a drive down the western side of the Yorkes.
Had a great time reading some of the history in this very well looked after cemetery.
The locals were nice enough to allow us to shelter in the shelter and have lunch. TFTC

A quick find but the big black eight legged cache guardian wasn't too happy to be disturbed. He was gone by the time we put it back but no doubt he will return. Thanks.
with Limbage on a very windy day of caching around Balgowan , Pt Victoria , Maitland and Arthurton .. found 23 all up ... thanks for the hide .
A small day trip down the western side of the Yorke Peninsula with KarpyKarpyson. Today we collected 21 before the storm hit and drove us home. I'd never been to the cemetery of Port Vic before, even though I'd lived here a year. TFTC - for bringing me out this side of town!
Found as a part of TheKellyGang, writing this as a genaric log as I was a part of TheKellyGang and am now out on my own.
