I have stopped by on 2 occasions. Even confirmed numbers with a previous finder. This cache appears to be missing or has been relocated with some assistance from water levels during storms. Possibly needs a visit from the CO

06-May-15
I paid a visit and appreciated the deep significance of the site. After doing the calculations (which I hope I got right), my short walk ended with the realisation that the recent floods have apparently rearranged the area pretty significantly. Grass has been flattened and some logs have definitely been picked up and moved!
If my figures are right, this cache needs checking out for sure.

02-Apr-15
this was an interesting multi, thanks for this!

17-Mar-15
Previous Maintenance requests appear to have gone unnoticed. Needs new container and log

16-Mar-15
Rounding out the last of the unfound caches in the area here. Took a pleasant stroll around to the WP, where the info was readily accessible, but without pen and paper the calcs took a little longer than perhaps they should have. Coords loaded, took a wander and found what I was after. This really does need a new container and log, the existing one is wet and slimy. Couldn't sign log, took photo instead. Needs maintenance please. Thanks for a well thought out multi

On an evening walk after a hot day, TB visiting a few places before it travels further afield.

07-Jan-15
We found this cache today and it was very dirty inside. Also the log book was damaged by water and seemed to be a dirt like mush. We gave the container and contents a bit of a wash out but the log book definatley needs replacing.

07-Jan-15
Found and deocoded in this nice retreat. Sat near the cache while figuring it out. Unfortunatley we were inable to sign the log book due to water damage. TFTC

13-Jul-14
5th of 5 today...our first multi-cache and a little tricky for us but we finally found it with thanks to hints in past comments.

Still in desparate need of TLC, EngPhil's new page is no longer a nice white sheet and container & contents needs a wash...

02-May-14
As noted previously by me and others, this one is in pretty bad shape....

Find #1178 at 17:41 while killing time before an appointment nearby.

Light was rapidly fading as I hit the first point. As I took a quick photo, the mozzies tried to carry me away.

I retreated to a nearby bench to do the sums but was lifted back out of it by an even bigger swarm of mozzies. So I retreated further back down the path, scribbling numbers as I went.

Eventually the answer came out and I was only metres away! But... with THAT in between me and the cache, it was back to Mozzie Central.... oh the things we do.

The cache was soon revealed by iPhone-light and, oh no.... the log is a wet manky pulp! Surprised I was not particularly prepared for this, however I do always carry spare paper, so in went a new sheet. Unfortunately I'm sure it'll be just as manky before long, so I snapped a photo of my log while it was still readable.

Thanks, Duppers, for a cache in a lovely little hidden spot (with a sad story). Seems there's a few of these surprise spots tucked away around here.

21-Jan-14
Couldn't sign it as the log book is damp and decomposing in the bag. Cache was full of ants.

Cannot believe I didn't see this one earlier this year when I came a looking, but easily discovered today. The logbook, unfortunately, is a pulpy mess. I scrawled an entry on the paper, but it needs replacing. Nice quiet spot here, a fitting tribute. tftc Duppers

Finding my way to the waypoint and GZ wasn't the problem, finding my way out was.TFTC

01-Feb-13
Went back today to try my luck again.

A lot of damage from Mother Nature last weekend, trees down in a few places along the walk way to the park.

Got to the spot and reworked the numbers in case of error last time. Followed Ms Garmin's pink line to the big X. Same spot as last time, just looked a little bit harder and didn't let cache blindness take over. Spotted the treasure in its hidey hole.

A lot of water went through here last weekend but the cache managed to hold on. It's very wet inside but that is to be expected.

Thanks for the cache Duppers.

26-Jan-13
Very wet here with foul weather for Australia Day '13. Found my way to the listed coordinates and then did the sums. Qick trundle off to GZ. No obvious entry point into the bush, so I took the time to re-check my calculations.

All good. On expanding my search, I found an easier point of entry and then a cache in the obvious spot matching the clue. The GPSr wanted me to look further to the east, where the grass is taller and the scrub thicker. Had quite a lot of trouble with accuracy today with this awful weather.

I looked everywhere, but could not find it (on the 6th). I will recheck my coordinates and try again another day. This is a just little spot though - with a really great play area for kids just around the corner!

EDIT: I went home and re-did my calculatations and realised I'd made a mistake (brackets take precedence people! Razz... I went back today with the correct coordinates and found the cache in no time Smile TFTH. Very nicely done.

Geoson and I came to this cute little park near home to work this one out.

We did the calculations and made our way to gz. We looked and looked, checked our maths, looked and looked again but didn't find the cache. Pretty sure we were in the right spot, it hasn't been found for about 6 months so may not be there any more.

Will put it on our watch list in case it is found.

Thanks the duppers.

On a beautiful sunny day, I ventured out to find some caches. I had a little bit of trouble calculating this one but got there in the end. Had the place to myself. Log dry. TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Duppers Cool

Clever naming and after a little time calculating GZ came up with the cache. Another new park for us in an area we thought we knew.

Visited with Net88, and sat and watched her do the numbers.

Ionlathe k had the opportunity to sit and watch as I found this one. The only help she gave me was a piece of paper. Nice little multi. TFTC cache was dry but covered in ants

Quite difficult & we found our maths (puzzle solving ability) was a bit out so the co-ordinates were a bit confusing for us. It was lots of fun with T-Tech,Ootiumfaan & IolantheK. TFTC.

03-Mar-12
Had a bit of difficulty working out co-ords but got there in the end. We had a snack with the possums ??

Out spending some time with friends that are new to Geocacheing. So NixOnTrix, Ootiumfaan, IolantheK (my geospouse), and myself arrived at GZ to discover the first clue. IolantheK used Geobuddy to work through the equations to come up with the final cache location. Found the cache. Signed the log then off we went for another cache.
Thanks for the cache Duppers.

03-Mar-12
Out caching with geospouse T-Tech and newbies Ootiumfaan and NixOnTrix. Found the required info on the sign but had some difficulty getting the numbers to work. Did some number crunching and created a set of co-ords but they led us up the wrong path. Did some more number crunching and followed the new set of co-ords to the right GZ and found a likely spot that only a cacher would recognise. O and N loved the nearby passionfruit vine. Cache is in good condition. TFTC, Duppers.

After finding a park nearby and a lovely stroll over to GZ I soon found what I needed then off to find the cache.

I had to wait for a few dog walkers to pass before the search began. A look here and a look there...nothing...mmmm...ok stand back and have a look....and it is right there. Big Grin A little out in the open so I placed a bit of camo over the top and it is good to go.

All dry inside as well.

Had a wild time couldnt seem to get the maths to add up wouldn't mind if someone could email me a hint or explain the maths to me. Its a bit embarassing am an Engineer Red FaceEnded walking all over the park and into the state forest nearbyBig Grin

Out and about exploring the park on our bikes and ended up at the top of Hippy House Road no time at all - enjoying the downhill not enjoying the uphill so much. A small detour had us out of the park but in a nice cool park. We had some refreshments, found the sign, thanked our lucky stars that we haven't had similar experience and found the cache - eventually.

Find #103. Found 21/11/11 @1300.

Having cleared out a large portion of this suburb this afternoon on a rare day off, we found ourselves near here. This is quite out-of-the-way, and I wonder if many people even know about it. We were saddened by the dedication sign, and took a moment to ponder before performing the cache grab/sign/replace routine. Saw one of the locals (a water dragon), and took our leave.

Also found a strange type of trackable which we will move on.

What an awesome little hidey-park. I stopped the car on a nearby street just in front of a house that was open for inspection. Don't think they got too many visitors cause the agent almost ran down the driveway to get my attention and look so forlorn when I turned around to walk the other way. He was gone by the time I got back.

The hidden away gem of a park this cache is based in was worth the visit alone, but the smilie is also good Smile

29-Oct-11
Solved the little puzzle without great difficulty ... but just where was the elusive prize? Spent a good half an hour looking and then gave up in disgust as waves of muggles swept through the area. Went home and carefully read the cache info - then found it on the return visit in seconds. I must have almost knelt on the container three or four times without noticing it! Duh!

An idyllic little spot. TFTC, Duppers.

12-Oct-11
Didn't have co-ords right on first attempt, but we checked cache location out on a hunch. Must have had cache blindness. Correct co-ords worked out and back to cache location. Got it this time. TFTH.

co-ords worked out with a little help from a friend

we were so standing on it the first time. lol

11-Sep-11
Took a while to find once we had the coordinates but perseverance paid off and we had a successful find. TFTC.

31-Jul-11
TFTC second attempt on this one. It works if you work out the clue correctly, a lot quicker this time.

22-Apr-11
After an initial hic-cup with conversions, we corrected our mistake and soon had the cache in hand. The container had some water in it, so we dried it out and removed some paper pulp from the bottom of the container (i think the stash note). Thanks Duppers

18-Mar-11

Found without too much dificulty. Plenty of mossies keeping company today.

Our first Cache. To think we ride past it every week-end.
It is a bit wet so will dry it out this week-end and leave something behind.

Nice!
Love the spot, and a tiny little bit of maths was bearable ha ha Big Grin
fisherw0man manned the GPS and we found both spots quickly
Cache is a bit wet... still ok at this stage

Beautiful spot with a hidden path. What a stunning area! Cache was a little damp. Nice little search. Thanks.

05-Feb-11
Lovely and sad spot. Cache was full of water but the logbook was still nice and dry.

15-Jan-11
Decided to do a few caches after the floods. Thought we might find some have gone the way of the water. This might be one of them. Will keep an eye on watch to see if others encounter similar.

21-Oct-10
Collected the info , did the maths, then went towards GZ but what a mass of vegetation deposited by the recent flood. Not a chance of finding anything and maybe it's not even there !!! Moved on to the next cache. Thanks anyway.

27-Sep-10
This was cache # 8 of 17 for the day, on a nice warm day caching around the hills. This cache sure does make you think, I had a near death year last year with a perforated bowel so made me think how lucky I am to be still here. My thanks to uppers for the cache.

19-Sep-10

After quite a few attempts at this one, at long last we have a GPS that works. Thank goodness because the mozzies are pretty bad at this location, would advise bring some aeroguard. Good hide, signed log, took nothing.

16-Jul-10
Found at 0954. A quick find after working out the co -ords. Nice bit of park. Cache OK and dry. TFTC.

Thought I had the wrong spot and was about to check the maths (again) but poked a bit more and cache was at hand. TFTC

22-May-10
I had big problems finding the sign - and I firmly blame my TomTom. It put me on the wrong side of the parks. Once I located the park, everything fell into place. A wonderful (and sadly named) place. TFTC Duppers Smile

08-May-10
Found on Mothers Day as a family. A nice park and a place to reflect on life for a moment.
Took Nothing. Left Origami.

TFTC Smile

05-May-10
A sad story behind this parks name but a really nice park tucked away in here... After a quick read and a quick adjustment, GZ was approached and the cache found. I admit it took a little longer than it should after I ignored the obvious at GZ... Red Face

Cheers Duppers.

16-Apr-10
had a look for this one at night but were looking in the wrong spot altogether.....back we go and cache is in the bag.sl.tftc.cache was a bit exposed so we tried to put it a little bit more where the clue says it is.

07-Apr-10
Found without too much dificulty. Plenty of mossies keeping company today. I guess they havn't seen the aeroguard adds! TFTC

30-Jan-10
415 - Wow who would have thought that the cache was actually easier to locate than the sign used to find the cache. With the heavy tree cover in the area the dial just kept going around and around in circles. I finally worked out there was another section to the park and found the sign, made the calculations and found the cache in the right place at 4:31pm. A nice multi this one, although the log book was just a fraction damp but nothing to worry about just yet. A moving location and its great to see this spot recognised. TFTC Duppers.

The cloud cover was playing with the GPS and had me wandering about a bit until I read the clue and zeroed in on the area I had been circling. Thanks for bringing me here.

25-Nov-09
Team effort at solving this puzzle and we then located the cache. Lovely area commemorating a short life. TFTC.

25-Nov-09
Found this quiet area and after reflecting a while headed off to the cache which was somewhat exposed.
Thanks for the cache.

14-Nov-09
Had the coordinates from a previous visit, so on a return visit was able to find the cache. Thanks duppers, a truely reflective park indeed... a very sad story.

13-Nov-09
Ok, ok, We admit defeat, we have tried again...... twice, we are having GPS issues too!! If someone wants to send us co-ordinates or another hint, it would be much appreciated.

Cheers.

08-Nov-09
We struggled to both decipher this one and also our gps kept sending us in opposite directions once we cracked the code. We think we have it now but could not locate it; due the GPS issues. We will wait until we have moved on from the iphone I think.

Otherwise, we spent a nice hour and a half hanging out with our dog and searching through one of our favourite local areas, only 5 minutes walk from our place. Bit of a sad story goes along with it too.

We will be BACK!!

18-Oct-09
Cache has been dried out & is ready to go.

21-Sep-09
Will take this cache off-line for a dry-out.

13-Sep-09
Found with help from the hint. Managed to look right past this on first examination! -doh- Cache had a few mm of water in the bottom. Log book surprisingly in good shape but a bit damp. This needs some time out for a dry off - we didn't have the time today sorry Sad. TFTC Smile

14-Jul-09
We Found the Sign with the name on, and we did some calc's and think we have it right. The GPS led us to within 2 M of a clue object, close to the creek. There was evidence of the floods having covered the area. So if we are right and the cache is close to the creek I think it may be in Morton Bay now, like some of mine.

12-Apr-09
At 16:40. Got it right but when we got there the GPSr had a change of heart. Fortunately, just as I started to tell Cyndi we were in the wrong place she stumbled over it.

TN/L crocheted hairpin. TFTC Duppers.

02-Feb-09
So it was back to Albany Creek this afternoon to hopefully find the last for the day. I walked down the pathway from where I had parked and was confronted with the usual question of ..........should I turn right or left at the pathway near the creek?
A word of advise to those if you ever follow me into this type of situation.
If I turn left at the T junction, do not follow me, you'll only be wasting your time..... just take the path to your right.
You shall get there before me.
In the end, I went through the creek, found what I needed then re entered the new coords and found the cache shortly afterwards.
Thanks Duppers for a thoughtful cache.

16-Jan-09
What a great location to have in your back yard. Some people live in the coolest places. Found the name, did the maths and grabbed the cache with no fuss. TN/LN/SL. Thanks for bringing me to this one.

05-Jan-09
Found by Sunshine Toledo at 3:00pm. Had to do some creative accounting to get the right co-ords to find GZ. Not too difficult to track down once I got those co-ords but tried a couple of others first. TFTC

24-Dec-08
A very tranquil little spot. Took a moment then headed off and found the cache after a bit of scratching around. Thanks!

20-Dec-08
A delightful secluded spot which gets a *recommended* from me for the theme and location. Well done. I don't know how people find little places like this. The birds were not helping today so it took a bit of to'ing and thro'ing before I located the cache.

16-Dec-08
As one who has a surname 11 letters long I was green with envy at finding the first waypoint for this cache [B)]
How many hours during my lifetime could I have saved signing, typing or writing if my last name was this long ? Smile
I guess I have more than made up for that handicap though with my geocaching name, so I shouldn't complain Big Grin
But all that time saved signing caching logs counted for nought here this morning as I successfully stuffed up the calculations Red Face
It can't have been the heat, it was lovely and cool in this shady spot Smile
It can't have been a lack of food, as I had dropped by a bakery on the bike ride here Razz
I'll put it down to ADD.
Adding Decimals Dumly Big Grin
But even with the right GZ coords I still missed seeing the cache for a goodly 20 minutes Red Face
TFTC eventually Big Grin

14-Dec-08

Out visiting friends in the area. I managed to duck out and grab this one in between the various activities.

Some nice little spots along here. Nice idea (the naming of these areas) albeit sad.

The easiest of finds as the cache was quite exposed. I have concealed it a little better.

Cache dry and in good condition.

Thanks Smile

Out on a Geocycle through the state forest this afternoon, may have even scoped out a new spot for a cache (watch this space). Found the little park no worries and once i got my head around the conversion i found the spot easily with the clue in my back pocket. It's always good to know special people are remembered in this way. Albany Creek is so lucky with all it's great parks and bikeways. Out: gecko In: Arm band. SL TFTC.

Wasn't planning on getting this one today, but as my understanding of technology sometimes leads me astray I was in the neighbourhood Red Face.

This was a nice little pocket, and a nice little playground on the way there I will take to the kids too.

Cache found easily. Took Geocoin

It was quite quiet here this afternoon. Found the inviting retreat and a thought provoking message, took a moment to ponder, and set off to find the coords for the cache. The warren was discovered after a short search with the clue helping.

SL. No swaps. Dropped "Homedg on the Pokies" GC. Thanks Duppers for the hunt and the placement.

I saw this one at work on Monday as a "never before found" cache and I thought I would have a go at my first ever FTF...

got there about 5:15pm and found the first WP no probs... unfortunately, my maths skills weren't working properly and I was looking in the wrong spot... for about 30 minutes !!!

checked my sums after no joy and realised I was looking in the wrong spot... unfortunately, a wrong equation on the home page meant that I was looking (for another 15 minutes) in the wrong spot... AGAIN !!!

left this one upset and frustrated... hmmm... now the equation is updated I may give it another go...

geofillans <><

P.S. I would have just missed the FTF prize anyway...

01-Dec-08
Found what we needed to do the maths but the maths didn't add up. Maybe we don't think the same. Oh well. Maybe next time.

01-Dec-08
My apologies. I have been advised that final coords are "off".

I have edited the Solution for the South coords.

Thanks to ninasclan for pointing out the error of my ways.

Hope this is better!

A return trip in the dark with updated co-ordinates yielded ... yet another 2nd to Find. Beaten to the cache by Bedmaker. It was an interesting area. Thanks for bringing us here. Took TB. LNSL. TFTC.

A lucky FTF for Bedmaker. Arrived and found the info required. Did the calculations and set off to find the cache. Ended up I know in a wrong spot. Re-calculated and still the same spot. Took a punt and used the clue to eventually find the cache about 25 meters from where I was. Anyway a happy ending in a nice little area. TFTC
