Stopped by here for another look and remain sure it is missing. If it is meant to be in the obvious place, it is gone and the piece supposed to be covering it is lying a couple of metres away (same deal when I last looked).
I visited this cute little spot on a lovely and mostly very successful caching walk through this area. My GPS was very certain about where the cache should be and in that spot was a log that matched the clue. But I looked all around and underneath it and found nothing except a lot of bugs.
I assume it's gone, but it may just be my incompetence, so I'll put it on the watch list and come back when it's found or replaced.

Accidentally logged comment for a different cache here somehow so please disregard last comment. Did find this one half an hour later though!

This is on the west side of Gardiners creek. If you are on the main trail you have to go to high street and cross the bridge there and go back up the dirt trail.
Quick find for the last cache of our ride today. Log signed and turned around to head back to the car. TFTC
After going to a few wrong logs, we found the cache! But beware, it’s not what you think it is...tftc
Out for a walk and to pick up some caches to fill another day on the caching calendar. Once we crossed over High Street and continued along the Gardiners Creek Trail as we got closer to GZ we realized we were on the wrong side of the creek...… enjoying the walk and took the wrong path. Once we were on the right side of the creek, the path was deserted and Mrs Pooky made the find. What a nice quiet little spot.....well today it was anyway. TFTC and bringing us to this great walking track.
Out with fisherfamfive today for a nice caching trip. After I followed the GPS for a while, I came up with the nicely hidden cache. TFTC
Cache 6 of 7 that Jackson from CammFamThree and I (Geo-Son) found on a nice Monday morning/early afternoon. This one was a nice and easy quick one to keep the finds going. Tftc team_coxy
6 Dec 2019: Streak Day #281/366 (1 March 2019 - 29 February 2020). I left my car other side of the river and had a lovely walk to here, a quick find here. Thanks Travelwriter and team_coxy for the cache.
My kids loved this playground erne they were little, the double slide was a novelty and it's a beautifully spot. I love the shape of this log, too.
Boring that the contained is plastic and rectangular, and bigger than my palm!

The name of this cache said it all and I didn't need to look at the hint. Tftc.
This was a reasonably quick find as I sighted a possible hiding place from the path .. just had to wait for a dog walker to disappear .. the cache was soon located and log signed .. thanks Travelwriter for placing the log and Team_coxy for maintaining it
A great walk along bush paths today. Sun out was great but no little ones for the playground log slightly damp but ok.
Took geokids and one of the friends to do geocaching in this area. As we approached GZ this was easily spotted by the elder geokid. Log signed and replaced

As stated in previously the log is wet, I was able to sign it but I took a pic as well. This is a lovely area to be caching in, so peaceful.
TFTC! Easy find for the kids. It is a bit water logged but we were still able to sign the log.
Thanks for such precise a hint. Easy find despite being in complete darkness. CIGC TNLN TFTC
Took my dog for a walk after work along Gardiners Creek, this is a lovely area with plenty of treasures!

It was getting late, but a geocache was still needed to fill a whole in the calendar and close out September, so it had to happen. A suitable hide was identified and the hunt was on. c:geo was being buggy. A quick call home and the information was in hand. But then the torch wouldn't work! What?!?!?!? Fortunately the coordinates were spot on so no dramas there. Found at 11.59pm... just in time. TFTC
Went for a quick walk after work to find some caches. This was an unexpectedly peaceful spot TFTC

A lovely quiet spot. Hopefully the muggles at the park paid no attention.

Little kids ran straight to the playground while big kids ASP84, CGBH and I went for the find. Thank you
We’re out with LouJean70, CGBH, GeoKids and the Uncle today. With 6 of us on the hunt this one wasn’t going to stay hidden for long.
Wanted to try and boost the numbers for the month and get a long walk. Accomplished both tonight with Gunks around Gardiners creek trail and surrounds. Mostly straightforward finds with a couple that made us linger longer. TFTC
Very freezy day today but I'm still continue to do some caches to find in Ashburton/Burwood area for the day. Found it easily. Thanks Travelwriter for the cache.
Another great find!
Found myself the lovely Kelvin... will be taking him with me on my next geocaching adventure... where? Who knows?
