Great spot by a newly done up hall. Great fenced area with permission for off leashed dogs. Would be a great spot to come caching while your furry friend has a run around
Cache 1399 Heading to Christchurch for a geocaching holiday this week where I’m targeting hidden days/months and a few D/T and to sign challenge caches. This one was a hidden month Cache was a nice quick find at GZ just a shame my arms weren’t longer then I wouldn’t have had to go in the park oh well T4TC
I always enjoyed driving through country roads, even though they don't take me to intresting destinations. Found this one with no much trouble. Saw on the log book that someone else were here too today. TFTC.
A geat morning for a drive to find a few more caches around the place. Working my way towards completing the Challenge Wheel (Hard) for this month. A good spot for the cache. No problems here. TFTC, Biggles.
Out collecting a few caches out of the city, and get some more points for the Wheel of Challenges for this month.
Oh that's cool, kind of in the middle of nowhere haha. Fitting to come here with ANZAC day coming up. No issues with the cache.
TFTC Kiwi Nomad, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 22 find(s) of 25 today, making this find #3952

Cache was a quick find and there wasn’t a logbook in the cache so I added a logbook. Cache was exposed so I covered it properly
Took a detour on our way home from Ashburton. The cache was a quick find. TFTC.
Time to escape the city & find a few caches - and hopefully collect another souvenir. Another lovely, sunny day.
Thanks for this cache & for highlighting this Memorial, Kiwi Nomad

Found this one without a lid and the log strewn around in bits. Have replaced with a new container.
Easy find after letting a couple of cars go past container had lots of water but log book was dry tftc
The logbook was indeed very wet and slimy. On my way to Akaroa, no children, so plenty of time to clean and dry the container. New logbook added so all ready to go for the weekend.
Happy caching everyone.
Happy caching everyone.
A cache full of slime isn't a plesant experience so I'm disabling until I get a chance to visit it. Hopefully April will be less busy than March was and I be able to fix it over the school holidays.
Yep, found with no dramas. Everything was soaking wet, so I decided to try an experiment. I left the log out of the plastic bag and left the container slightly open. Well come to think of it things couldn't be any wetter so if it all happens to be dry when the next person comes along that will be a bonus. Thanks Kiwi Nomad for the hide.
Out with one of my granddaughters, Redco5, today as we make our way up to Christchurch.
She had a couple of TBs to place and another big cache to place one in.
Cheers for the cache.

Heading home after a fun weekend in Christchurch and a few planned stops along the way to help me with my goal of getting to #3000 by the end of the year. A bit of a detour up this road and a nice quick find TFTC
Thank you add new sealed bag as the bag and in side box was wet ..thanks for the find
I am hoping to get a new dry logbook for the cache this Saturday and will clean the container then. Sorry to anyone who has visited before I do while it is wet.
Found today - cache still very wet and book unable to be signed due to water damage.
Found today with BDP82. Very wet, full of water, drained out said water. Needs maintainance. Thank you for the cache.
#14090. Interesting gates; well worth a cache. I managed to reach the cache without going over the fence. TFTC.
Despite the drizzly weather, StreetWalker and I set out to find some caches today to bring our total finds for 27th May over the 20 mark. We had never been down this road before and a series of caches gave us the opportunity to explore the area.
A nice entrance way - but to what? We wondered if there had been a country school here at one stage. Another quick find for the second cache of the day. Thanks for replacing and for bringing me here. TFTC.

I will have to come back for this cache as there were too many people here as they had just done an ANZAC Day service.
Quick detour on the way home from Christchurch. Cache was indeed missing, new one in place now and ready to be found.
Arrrhhhh four dnfs on a simple cache it must be missing. I'll get a replacement out there soon.
nothing where the hint says - only newish looking woodchip - cache may have gone...
Got some cheap flights a few weeks ago so the plan was to come down for a big run in Ashburton to achieve the 120 in one day and get the gemstone. OMG! We started at the crack of dawn and finished in the dark. Foggy and cool but cleared by lunchtime. It should have been achieved much quicker. We had not really planned a route and detoured a bit. Some of this backfired as we ended up on some long gravel roads that had missing caches and was most disappointing. We got stuck for about an hour on a multi I specially wanted for qualifying for another cache which was frustrating. However, we made it - with a few to spare I believe - but are totally shattered. Too many to log individually so are doing the copy and paste. Many thanks to all who placed caches. What beautiful countryside and we love the fact we could pull over and park safely. Not keen on the many prickly pine trees so many were hidden under. The breeze only got up in the afternoon and it was a lovely warm breeze - not like Manawatu freezing winds even at this time of the year. More traffic on the roads than we expected and they fair motor along. Many thanks for the caches. It has made the whole trip worthwhile.
Bugga - could not find it anywhere.

Well what a surprise in the middle of a really quiet place, - well apart from the odd heavy duty truck whizzing by. TFTC
Enjoy caching for this very reason, coming down a road I'd never usually go down, and finding places like this. Quick find thanks!
What a beautiful day to be out grabbing a few caches. Was in rakaia doing a job today and thought it would be rude not to grab a cache or two. Found nice and safe. Tftc
I decided to venture out on a random drive to find some caches and get to know places. Both aims accomplished successfully in around 8.5 hours, covering a mere 180-ish k's, with plenty of interesting caches along the way. It was a good day for caching, overcast, turning to rain and showers, keeping muggles indoors. Got back home late, wet, and happy. Thanks to all the CO's for great hides that gave me hours of entertainment!
Lest we forget. On way home from West Coast after seeing family before Christmas. Geocaching certainly helps break up the journey. TFTC
Cache was sat out in the open just asking to be muggle so hid using some of the plentiful available camouflage tftc
Mum was doing a maintenance visit and my name got added to the logbook. Always a quick find when the cache owner is with you and we have to get home to have dinner.
Mum was doing a maintenance visit and my name got added to the logbook. Interesting spot.
Mum was doing a maintenance visit and my name got added to the logbook. Still a long way to go to get home, good we have plenty of DVDs to watch.
Out on a Monday Night Mission with TG. We attempted an Alpine assult on a new puzzle but were foiled by wind and rain!!! We headed out to Rakaia for a FTF attempt and rounded up the night with some smurfs. We were rained on, saw a spectacular sunset. Drove down some 'no exit' roads to find an exit and had a great old time.
Thanks for the cache.

It was 28 degrees outside and I had no work today. I decided to go on a country drive with the air-conditioning on full blast.
This was the first cache I stopped for. Indeed it is a nice gate. Now I need to decide what to do next.

Another great find while slowly heading to the Christchurch Mega.
Thanks for adding to the fun of my trip!

Even with the give away hint I still couldn't find it... end of the day so I was probably missing something right in front of me... another time.

A quick find, possibly due to the cache being rather exposed. I endeavoured to re-hide it again. No sign of the supposed travel bug... TFTC.
Worth stopping for
Thanks
