I went over to Goat Island this time armed with serious insect repellent and the hint. Unfortunately neither did the trick.
Despite a thorough search all I found was a pen.
Maybe the floods got the cache?
Thanks

I went over to the island on my boogie board with my GPSr in a zip-lock bag and plastic container.
I searched for about half an hour but I couldn't give it my full attention as I was completely distracted by the mosquitoes. They so thick you could kill half a dozen with one swipe.
Next time I try I'll be armed with serious insect repellent.
Thanks for the adventure.

Nothing wrong with the coordinates! A joint ftf with fact4 thanks to muggle Gary and his tinny. Changed the name of the island to Mozzy Island but its not yet official! Cache had quite a bit of water in it and the log book was ruined (bag was open). Left a new bag and log book and left the container upright as it is not water tight. Thanks for the challenge Bax!
Excitement over joint FTF with gjdjb. No goats but plenty of mossies. Thanks Gary for ferrying us across. TFTC
