Hmm, used old coordinates and were not aware that it has been archieved. And yes, the cache was in good condition, the logbock a bit damp but we managed to sign it.
Unfortunately had to dry the cache, but apart from that we found it!

hmm, an archived cache... ok everything lay around openly and so the logbook was quite wet, but it was still a good and quick find. and the nice bench next to it is really worth a stop in this little nice park.

Unaware that the cache had been archived since we left on our current caching trip, we looked for, and found it, although the coordinates were a bit out. The logbook was sodden and unsignable, which did seem a bit suspicious, as the location should have been very dry. TFTC
We are new to this, and failed at the first attempt because I probably don't understand my new Suunto and the coordinates transferred were 150m out! When we finally found it, the way point was in the middle of the grassy area but we had a good search and found it soon enough. Sadly the little box was full of water! Possible sabotage? Notebook unusable and sodden. We were not carrying a spare so another lesson learned.
Sorry, just noticed the "needs maintenance" flag on the Log Type... This needs new everything...
As this is the third time this cache has been muggled it may not be the best placement, I will be placing another in this area in the future.

Easy find although had to try a couple of "places" first as the GPS ran out of battery.

Fairlie easy to find. Seems like only yesterday there was only one cache in this town, very nice to see some more.

Have to agree with others about the co-ordinates but grateful to find some shade from the Mackenzie Country heat. Cache container was exposed when we found it, so left in covered with the "obvious pile of sticks". TFTC Took rubber, left decoder badge.
Found ok but it was 18 meters out by my GPS so just be aware of that when deciding on which tree. TFTC.
It took all four trees before the cache was found, however the hint is pretty good. A cold wind blowing today so didnt stick around. TNLN Thanks.
Co-ordinates were out so the clue was a big help, no problem .Quick find in the end. TFTC
[Found this one today after a bit of a hunt. It was mentioned that the co-ordinates were a bit out so we just looked at likely spots. Of course there were quite a few likely spots and I think we checked them all before we found the right one. Found the cache half uncovered], and being blue it stood out. [This is another cache that will go missing if we cachers are not careful to rehide well. There was no geocoin in this cache. TNLN. SL. TFTC.
Very high winds. Found cache totally exposed with no cover. Re-hid it well using leaf litter but in this wind it may become exposed again. However its still well out of sight. TFTC.
PS. We always hide our cache finds properly, better than we found them.

Driving from Christchurch to Queenstown, and picked this one up along the way.
Nice place - I used this cache to show my muggle traveling companion what caching was about.

Coordinates a bit out - but no problem finding. Picked up (as yet) unlogged Travel Slug and will take to Oamaru

Tariq & Bubbles found this one during our trip around New Zealand. Nice park, with cave-like trees. Must be fun for kids to play in. Left geocoin Sparrow Family. Then headed out for a nice lunch at the Old Library which we passed at the beginning of the town. Thank you!
Coordinates took us to some open ground but not too many hiding places so found quickly anyway.
Nice little park!
Many thanks

Found my GPS way off at this one, but the pick the correct obvious location first time.
Good spot for the dog and some exercise again. Had to look in a few spots - not too sure of coordinates, but pretty obvious what sort of place it was in. TFTC. Covered it substantially.
Found this cache with my personal travel bug Ice Age Scrat along our 3 moths trip around the whole New Zealand,

Thank's for the cache, and thank's to KiwiLegend for the alternative coordinates. We were more than 15 meter of with the original coordinates.
We took a TB.

A quick find by B once he worked out where to be. It was beginning to heat up in the town. TNLN TFTC
i think my gps was having one of those days. or me not to sure but again i was way off on this one. found it with just a wee bit of scouting about
GPS 13 m out, had to do a lot of looking to find it, but find it we did. What a nice park.

KiwiLegend's co-ords took us straight to it.... dropped off Diabetes Geocoin... TN.... Thanks!
2 dogs running around the park, we didn't think they had GPS so proceeded to look. Found it, signed it, replaced it.
Nice peaceful area for Pippi to walk around in.
GPS was a bit vague, and kept changing his mind.
However, an obvious spot was soon found, and cache located.
TNLN - Cheers

Took quite a long time to find - as the GPS took me to a spot right in the middle of 5 of the items mentioned in the hint! And of course - it would be the last one. Pretty obvious that others had done the same. I reckon the coords were closer to S44 06.319 E170 49.747

Quick find with Sez&Jon (Jon was first to it) while travelling back to Christchurch from Tekapo. Had to search several possible locations in the area as the coordinates were not very accurate but had the cache in hand after about 5 minutes. Signed log, TFTC!
Much the same experience as the previous log. GPS zeroed out bang in the middle of an area of grass where there were several things in reasonable proximity that matched the hint. A mower operator was sitting on his mower having lunch right there anyway so we went and had ours. By the time we had finished he had moved on and the cache was turned up quickly.
We did find the co-ords about 15m out, which put us in the middle of a number of items corresponding to the hint. So, of course, the one that PB searched was the correct one!! LOL Loved the wooden seats nearby.

Found this one after a bit of trouble finding access. On our way home to Geraldine from Mt. Cook. A bit disappointing to find nothing in it to trade but nice park. TFTC.
Woohoo FTF, a quick stop on the way to work - well, the long way round - so found at 8 am this morning in the rain and all alone - which made it easier. TFTC, TNLN
