As there's been no cache to find or log to sign for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Will have to disable this till I get out there to check it out

23-Apr-11
Spent a long time trying to locate this one. Disappointed!!!!!!!

10-Apr-11
Jasenjanine - thank you very much for reporting about this. Lokipagan and I were going to have a look for this elusive cache today. Your note saved us the trouble of scratching around the GZ for an hour or so. We did drive past - but a scarey looking biker fellow had set up camp so we moved on.

09-Apr-11
We thought we might check this out after the recent DNF's after Forest Challenge 5 at Jimna. The cache is not where we discovered it in April 2010, so unless there is some serious 'cache creep'......it's gone. Sad

03-Apr-11
Tried to find this on the way home from Forest Challenge 5. Had tried to look early yesterday morning but was Muggle Central. A really good look then joined by Ghostgums and they could not locate either.

03-Apr-11
We had been thwarted at this one previosuly by muggles, so after grabbing some lunch in Kilcoy decided to drop by for a lunch stop and a look. We arrived at GZ to find Eco & Rev had already given it a good look without luck. We joined in and caressed every bit of the structure without luck. Even did a PAF to a previous finder. In the end we conceded defeat, and will try again. Big Grin

02-Apr-11
We stopped in here on our way home from the fantastic Forest Challenge 5 Geocaching Event held today starting out at Peach Trees campground near Jimna. We were both in good geocaching mode and hunted and hunted, but this one slipped our eyesight this time. I do hope it is still there and that we were just suffering a bit of night cache blindness even though we each had a torch.

08-Mar-11
I must be going blind could not find this anywhere.

01-Jan-11
Had to do one while visiting Woodford Folk Festival, even if unable to sign. Rather wet day when we did it.

24-Dec-10
Took a while to locate this one due to the muggles but geoson found it in the end.
Cheers,

We always stop here on our trek to Maleny in Coco our motorhome ,so know the park well . Today we were so lucky it was fairly quiet ,its a popular freebie for caravans & motorhomers. We soon had the cache in hand -thank God for Manola Blahniks, those 6inch heels really heped !!!

Finally logging a find from a while ago. TFTC

28-Aug-10
Heading back to Melbourne from the Sunshine Coast, I called in here and tried to find this cache @ 15:31hrs today.
I looked in all the obvious places and all the not so obvious places and I couldn't find the cache. It must be very well hidden. In fact I considered that if I can't find it then the muggles that were near by would never be able to find it either. It was a messy place as the bins were overflowing and smelly, so all up it wasn't a very nice experience to be honest. Maybe I'll have another look the next time I'm passing this way.

Quick, easy find ...Big Grin...

Shelter was being painted
Thanks to the painter n his trusty ladder for this find

14-Jun-10
It's lucky the kids loved the playground as we had to stay a while to search between muggles coming and going. Finally we spied the cache just as another car load pulled up. One of us stood guard while the other grabbed the cache when muggle heads were turned. Replacing it was just as tricky. TFTC

09-May-10
Called in to grab this one late in the afternoon. Only to find some muggle caravaners set up right beside the shelter shed. We did have a bit of look around, only to get some very strange look s from them, oh well better luck next time.

Luck was again on our side with a muggle free park/rest stop - might be the fact that the first day back at school has ensured most holiday makers with kids are off the roads! Spotted by Anderka, retrieved by me... T stamp L: coin

TFTC!

ps: sorry for late log… Twisted been out of the inter-webs range for a while…

18-Apr-10
Finally got this one after a week of driving past every day for work. An endless supply of muggle campers were determined to spoil my fun. Sad TFTC

13-Apr-10
Too many camper muggles today, and the last few days as well. Finished work out there for now so will try again next time.

05-Mar-10
I think high heels are not tough enough Wink but a sharp mind helps for sure!! TFTC!

28-Feb-10
Had a brief look around but came up empty handed on this occasion

06-Jan-10
Stopped by on way home from Blackbutt. Was introducing my brother to caching, he ended up finding it. Only minutes later fellow cachers showed up and we chatted for a bit. Did a swap of trackables, so am dipping a coin they took with, into this cache for owner to track miles. TFTF.

06-Jan-10
This was an easy find, as we were arriving I noticed somebody that looked as if they were replacing a cache, I then asked if they had found it and their reply Ah!!!! yes, then we had a long chat about caching, swapped a couple of trackables and discovered a few more, thanks guys.

12-Dec-09
On the way there when I suddenly realised I knew this park - we by mushroom compost just down the road. . (Good value too, and often with quite a few edible mushrooms in it)

A few muggles visiting the facilities, but with trusty geo-hounds to walk we were easily able to bide our time.

Forget the high heels - I would have needed stilts to even spot this one, but fortunately I am only one half of the human side of Seizer, and the cache was soon in hand.

07-Dec-09
I drive past this location on a regular basis to visit my Son and his family in Brisbane. Usually you can see from the D'Aigular Highway when driving past if there are people at GZ. Today I tempted fate. I bought breakfast at a service station and arrived at GZ and there was no body around. So I parked the geomobile right up at the shelter and set out my breakfast. As there was no one around I was able to view the area from the high point and I was writing in the log at 0700. The additional hint says " high heels on or are tall" but how tall is tall. I am 180cm and that was not tall enough. so resorted to other means to retrieve container from GZ. TFTC

04-Dec-09
No one was around so we did not have to explain what we were up to.
Chris & Renate from Ontario, Canada

01-Dec-09
Transport Department muggles were sitting at GZ having smoko. I wasn't leaving without this one, so I came clean about what I was looking for and in the end had both of them looking as well.Smile

30-Nov-09
Found on the TiedyeSmileys Adelaide NSW QLD trip away.

Our last find on our 2000km plus trip up from Adelaide to the Sunshine Coast. After seeing all the DNFs in the logs we were a bit worried on this, needlessly as it turns out as we found it within a couple of minutes.

A revisit today for If.
I approached nervously after the lecture I got last time about council waste collection [:o]
But no locals around today, just one tent muggle, 2 RV muggleloads, 2 caravan muggleloads and a several other car based restees to keep an eye on me Big Grin
No one was actually using GZ though Razz
I had a chance [^]
Half an hour later and I was thinking that cruice-ifixtion might be a good idea Wink
But I couldn't leave this one alone !!
It had to be there and I had a chance of grabbing it....if only I could spot it's hiding place Razz
I finally decided that those picnic tables might have a use Wink
So I took a seat and thought about the problem at hand.
"Where would I hide it ?
Where would be the most diabolical place ?" I thought Twisted
Ahhh!! I know.
Sure enough I found it in the next place I looked Big Grin
In full view of the muggle crowds too.
I would have thought they would be a bit more interested in my antics after a goodly 45 minutes by now [:o]
Seems they were more interested in whether you could drink the muddy water out of the tank !!
Well yes you could Razz
Don't mind the mozzie wrigglers in it, extra protein !!

At last, we have stopped here so many times to locate this one but have been stopped by the masses. Today we outwaited them and came up tall with the cache. SL TFTC

26-Sep-09
Seemed to be in the right place but no luck. Arrival of muggles prevented more in depth search for longer

25-Sep-09
Found whilst doing the Cherbourg Walk (Cherbourg to Brisbane).

11-Aug-09
Quick caching stop on the way home from the Ekka cattle rings. Pulled up to confront a sea of travelling muggles all sitting in and around GZ, so checked the load on the truck and hoped in vain that they would all magically disappear. But alas, it was not to be, and with time ticking on I headed on my way. Will attempt this one again next time I'm on the back road home.
Cheers

Found it No. 1974 ... nice place to camp ... TNLN

18-Jul-09
Found with geo-uncle 'Lat&Long Junkie' on our western weekend wander. There was a trailer parked nearby that the Bedmobile almost 'cruised' away with, but that would have been dis-honest (see the pic). TFTC

18-Jul-09
Found with geonephew 'Bedmaker' on our western weekend wander. Glad there were two of us looking. This could have taken quite a while, but we were lucky. TN/LN/SL.

20-Jun-09
Top spot in Kilcoy, had to watch for mugglers. Found cache with ease. Would be a good overnighter is you were looking for somewere in that region. TFTC TNLN

10-Jun-09
Found it, people of the world! TFTC.

10-Jun-09
Found on maybe our 7th attempt - mostly because of muggles. Finally spotted cache waaaay out of my reach, but fortunately Huge Red Machine was along to give me a hand. TFTC The olly's.

07-May-09
Found it a bit tricky to spot

27-Apr-09
Cunning Spot - Olly's. plus was a bit hard as muggles just kept pulling up to exercise their dogs Signed Log at 11:30am

19-Apr-09
Last cache attempted today on way home from w/end on sunshine coast...

Searched high & low but to no avail...for a wwile but others in party where anxious to make tracks..SadSad

Always next time

04-Mar-09
Searched everywhere that needed high heels, no luck. I think that the cache has been muggled. thanks anyway.

22-Feb-09
We had the place to ourselves for a while and were able to poke around all the likely areas but no joy for us today. Said hi to the wasps but no joy for us today.

20-Feb-09
Looked everywhere, used the clue and yet nothing to show for our efforts. Maybe it was under the green tree frog hiding in the roof, maybe we'll try another day.

14-Feb-09
A very cunning spot indeed. We drove in to find muggles every where and drove out again to return 2 hours later to find muggles still every where.

A little wait saw all of us looking at a fast past just in case someone else showed up.

Got it very easy once we were alone.

A great one to test skills and not get caught.

Thanks for the cache found at 1300 local.

01-Feb-09
Found Ok

30-Jan-09
Crowd-free when we arrived today and had a good look around but still no cache find for us. Aaargh.

26-Jan-09
Was going to say the cache was AWOL until we got home and read the latest notes. Had the place to our selves and we searched. Will be back

Lots of traffic passing through here without stopping. Every time we'd start looking, another vehicle would come through. Could have been more cachers I suppose. Lots of wasps too. Found OK in the end though. TFTC

24-Jan-09
Quite a bit of poking around... avoided the friendly wasps (they didn't bite me no matter how close I got so I guess they're friendly) and poked a poor frog with a stick, thinking he may be the cache (just saw a dark shape in a hidey hole - didn't realise it was a frog, the poor thing - he seemed ok after the invasion). Finally hit on the right spot without annoying anymore wildlife. TFTC

17-Jan-09
Driving by everyday the past week or so, everytime a muggle camped right next to the site! Sad

Sidenote: Haven't noticed the hotbed. Most of us use the Woodford dump. Park is a very popular (dumping) site for motorhomes and caravans. [:(!]

15-Jan-09
Ooooh, how many times will it take to find this cache! Tried twice during the folk festival - too many muggles and no GPS (the GPS had had a hissy fit and lost its chipset - well, I never!) And today a mobile home parked right next to where I wanted to look ...

11-Jan-09
Easy find, had to avoid a few wasps while looking near the bricks, but other then that great cache. Thanks.

11-Jan-09

02-Jan-09
Very late in the afternoon so I don't think the Muggles camping nearby were very interested in what we were doing. We had driven past each day for the last week to attend the festival and this rest stop was camp central so it was a relief to find it almost deserted today.
TFTC

25-Dec-08
I couldn't see the cache for the muggles this morning [:o]
Judging by the camps set up I don't think they were going to be moving any time soon either Smile

Seems it is a political hotbed here too [:o]
The local council doesn't provide a rubbish collections service to houses up the hills nearby. The local rubbish collection station way down the road at Wamuran is only open working hours. So the bins here are the defacto waste transfer station.
That's why the wheely bins in the park are always overflowing Razz

Amazing what you learn while caching, even if you don't find the cache [^]

23-Dec-08
Found at 0605 with my car pooling mate on the way to work.
Have stopped at this park and had a coffee break before. Nice park. Good hide. TFTC.

22-Dec-08
After lunch in the nearby town we headed up here for a bit of a play and a cache. A tough hide but one that we eventually met. TNLNSL.

14-Dec-08
*FTF* Yay Smile We had to wait for some muggles on bikes to leave first, and hope the muggle in his van was too busy with breakfast to notice what we were doing. TFTC
