Refuse to give in and make this a micro. There are just too many kids playing here. Might make a good spot to start a multi, or something.
Yep. It's gone. Thanks YWURRY for letting us know.
They have done alot of gardening here to remove weeds, and it looks like more kids have moved into the area. There were 4 little kids that couldn't stop staring at Caleb & I today. They seem to have set up lots of little places for themselves here!
Will try to find a new place for the cache this weekend when no one is around.

We are logging this as a find, however it has definitely been muggled. We got to the spot GPS was telling us and we conducted a decent search of the area... couldn't find... then brought our eyes back from looking at hiding spots and saw the remnants of the log book strewn all over the area.
We spent the next 20 minutes doing the ole cache-in 'trash'-out. It is evident from what we collected and what we saw, that whichever &%^$#-knuckle decided to trash this site did so with time and intent to destroy.
We have taken the log-book remains with us and more than happy to post back to the cache owner (email me through profile if you like).
Despite finding it muggled, I enjoyed visiting another little urban treasure! Thanks for the trip!

Nice story about the site. Needs to more of it.
A nice walk through the trees brought us to a familar hide.
Thanks, Robmc.

Thanks, Robmc.
There were a big cluster of new caches here to be found and with most of the parkland areas deserted this morning we began to make short work of them.
An easy find in the trees.
Thanks

Quick find in a nice little park. I liked the vegetation. Thanks for the history lesson too.
A familiar park, well at least the parking area is familiar. Whenever I'm working close-by in Cranbourne, I've often parked under the nearby trees for lunch in the ample shade in summer. This park certainly looks dry - as of course, does everywhere else in Melbourne! Quick find. TNLN & SL at 6pm. Thanks Jyetara for the cache. Regards, 38degsouth.
Found this one after a bit of searching around the trees. Looks like the restaurant has closed down.

I have to agree with Geodes' sentiments, projects such as this are great for kids and they remember them fondly when the leave school. Our school has done a lot of work in this area over the last year and the students just loved it.
I too was impressed by the work that has gone into this area, and the excellent coords saved me a lot of time searching through the low scrub!
Thanks,
R - B

Found @ 1915.
Found with ggkof on our usual Tuesday night caching conjunction. A lovely walk through a pocket of bushland. Good to see this here. Cache was found quickly. Left Solvognen Holte #1 coin.

Found at 6.00pm. Tried to get to this reserve from the rear, but no go. So we went around to the front and went in the traditional way. The cache was found after looking in a few likely spots first as our GPS was wondering around a bit here. Thanks Jyetara for the history.

A nice bit of history - I think projects like this can be very beneficial to the development of young minds - encourages kids to feel a sense of ownership and involvement in society. I always worry about parking on the main roads around here - but I guess it's ok, so I pulled up right near GZ and headed into the "forest". I'm glad there was a hint and that it wasn't tucked under all that pesky "Wandering Jew" that seems to be taking over so many areas these days and it turned out to be a nice, quick find with good co-ords.

20:40 Found this location after walking around the plantation. Signed the log book with the hope of leaving a TB in here, but it wouldn't fit, so replaced the cache and moved on.
Impressive place to have been created by a group of primary school kids - I'll bet some of them are pretty proud of this. Inside it we found a bit of a mess, including the remains of a book that can only be described as a religious view of "how to make a marriage work in the bedroom" - seriously disturbing stuff for an athiest such as myself.

For a moment this looked familiar but it was just a similar location somewhere else. Acts2youthgroup went staright to the hide on this one. thanks Jyetara for a cache in a lovely spot.
This was cache # 22 of 41 for the day in the company of Alansee on our Frankston,Cranbourne and Narre Warren tour, the cache was found at 1455. It was good to see this pocket of tall tress in the middle of the ever growing urban spread. My thanks to Jyetara for the cache.
The hardest part of this one was finding where to park. Tom Tom had no idea so after a couple of U turns we found the place we should have stopped at first. From here we simply followed the GPSr to the cache and with no one around it was an easy find. We did not know of these plantations before.
Thanks Jyetara

Found in the morning on a quick run around. Never realised this was a school plantation, always nice to find a cache with a reason.

A new cache, great! Right where we had planned one just yesterday, bugger...
So off we go. Get to the closest parking to GZ & notice a little white vehicle suspiciously like the swaggie wagon, walk up to it & it's always a pleasure to say hi to Daff who has been here for quite a while. Double bugger... Off to the cache (now more hurried).
Get there and... Hold on, you aren't Mr. Swaggie?? Nice to meet you Mr. Looney.
After a lot of searching we turn around and up in the distance are now 3 people and we recognise the dance they are doing, it's the chat after the de-flowering of the new log dance. We have missed another one.Surprised, not us. Until we discovered that the third person was the owner himself. Hi Mr. Jyetara, nice to finally meet you too!
We won't claim this as a FTF as we weren't anywhere near the others when it was found.
TNLNSL TFTC, find #428 for Echo & Spice.

** Coordinates Changed From **
S 38° 06.796 E 145° 16.642
Distance From Old: 78.6 feet
After a txt saying 4ppl can't find, made a quick dash up the street so as to not upset anyone any further! I had checked the coords for this twice due to the trees, and second time was about 25m out from the original coords on a cloudy day. So after confirming updated coords with 2 other GPSrs these should be spot on.
Clue edited as well. D'oh!

### FTF ###
A joint FTF tonight between us, The Looneys and Echo & Spice after the arrival of the cache owner who verified that the co-ordinates were a little out. In fact there were so many people here tonight that we were only missing Mr Coffee (who I was hoping would bring the coffee, cause it was cold out there tonight) and Harlips, who would at least bring some tea! Still it was eventually a good result and BTW LJ if you need confirmation of the co-ords again, just give me a buzz and I will come out and check them. (Of course I might have to sign the log as a FTF as well .
Thanks for the cache.
