This one has gone missing already. I've decided it's past its use by date so I'll archive it to free up some space for other caches.
We have been wondering about this cache for some months now and wondered if it was still there will all the earthworks. Even with the new co-ords and a good 10min search with gloves and torches, in light drizzle, we couldn't find it.
Maybe another day.

Maybe we should have read the most recent comments before attempting this one No luck around the tree which the coordinates indicated, found the beehive in the other one nearby, luckily no spiders for us...
[red]WARNING WARNING - under NO circumstances examine the large dead tree about 20m from the roadway - BEES have a swarm/hive in there.[/red]
Anyways, didn't find cache despite SCOURING the other living trees nearby. As I was up one, MtnLioness disturbed a huntsmans nest - Huntsman spiders EVERYWHERE.
NO CACHE TO BE FOUND.

Found the lid of a previous cache, scoured all trees in vicinity, found LARGE bees nest in dead tree!!!
WATCH OUT!!
Pulled a giant chunk of bark off a tree and cried out "HOLY CRAP!!" as about 20 palm sized huntsmans scattered all over the trunk!!
The bark was crawling with them!
I was already gone by the time I turned around and also saw Dad scampering off as fast as he could after I yelled out so loud!
He thought I saw more bees! I couldn't stop laughing!!
So very funny!!
SO many bees, SOOOOO MANY SPIDERS!!!!!
EUCK!!!!

Popped back again to this one so we could actually sign it this time around. The toddler enjoyed the path in once I gave him a helping hand. New location looks like it might last a bit longer than the last!

(I Think!) Going by the Geotwins photo lower down I found this one. It appears the tree has grown to the point the cache is now stuck and the lid has popped off and water has filled it up. All I could see inside was a soggy mass of paper.
Perth 10.4. This was an odd spot no where, but there were no problems on Sunday with very little traffic. Thanks.

Felt like and looked like (I'm sure) like a bit of a goose looking for this cache on such a busy strip of road. Got lots of looks anyway. With recent earthmoving works going on in the area, mounds of red dirt actually assisted in finding this little beauty. Great hiding spot.

TFTC after seeing the dirt thought it might have gone but no good drive by TNLNSL.
Great little drive by and a wonderful hide. I've seeen a couple of caches of this ilk now and they are starting to really stand out from the crowd. The hint had me a little perplexed at first, amd I was looking for the particular AS.... Doh,
Was a good hide/find.

I had to come out this way to have an ID photo taken, and getting a cache this far away from home means another day that I can continue finding caches while riding to work.
The nearby road is definitely busy.

I couldnt resist, came back for another look and found it - cant believe the places you stick your hands when geocaching!
There was big spider webs everywhere but while I was thinking about it Dazzatron had the cache... Signed and onto the next one... Thanks for the cache
Tried finding without GPS using just google earth but had no luck - was actually more worried about disturbing snakes in the long grass, instead a rabbit jumped out at me and nearly gave me a heart attack - ill save this one for another day when i get my courage back!!!!
We had a bit of a story here! After checking various places to no avail I checked previous logs. One talked about HUGE spider web which threw us because the only web we could see was rather puny. Of course you know where the cache was!
In the meantime we were checking other places and we decided to lift YT up to look at a higher spot, and I went bang into a pointy bit of dead branch. Ouch! Happily it wasn't too bad but the bit of branch is no longer there!

This was cache # 67 of 77 for the day, in the company of Alansee on our five day long weekend Adelaide caching Bonanza. this cache could have ended our caching for the day as I lifted Alan up to check a certain spot, he met with a branch that drew blood thankfully he is tuff and we kept going. The cache was finally found. My thanks to howie_sf for the cache.
ewewewweew GZ had a HUUUUGE spider web surrounding it.. Lucky i was brave enough to scream at Geohubby to get it!!

found on the way back from charlies in the dark tftc sl. netdrifter and all the gang
GPS was a little unstable on approach so I zig-zagged into GZ. A couple of hidy holes presented themselves and the container was in hand nice and quickly. No need to reference the standard for this find... [^]

Found by Mrs 4evermore. Sunday morning caching. Had a bit of fun trying to find this one. An easy find, eventually. TFTC TNLN
interesting hide, though it was easily accessible by the geokids. Traffic on the road was not a great issue but the Hilux roaring around in teh mud behind the GZ was more of a concern.
Looks like he was having fun in the mud but was not too careful about where he was going.......

Finaly able to log it after driving passed it every day to and from work for 2 years. not that ive been caching that long. had to wait for the constant stream of muggles to thin out.
Easy find on the way home from work - clue works really well. Did have to time my pounce on the cache because of heavy traffic.
Also be careful - a large dead white gum tree behind the cache has a wild bee hive in the base of it at the moment

Accompanied with Sevabo, Found it - no problem... SL. Thanks howie_sf for organising the cache and hunt.
This was a bit easier than Keelhauled!! Mabar was much more game with crossing the road than me! This poor country girl was a bit nervous about the traffic! TNLN TFTC
A quick dash and grab in the late afternoon.

Man those Huntsman spiders were big and also there were millions of eggs layed by them ants ready to invade DSTO
Thanks howie_sf

Another quick find. The missus passes here on her way into work most days so we know how busy it can be on a weekday.

Easy find. Took coin and was going to leave one behind but had none that would fit in the cache container! TFTC
Walked around in circles for a minute, trying to decide which object to look at first.
Took pathtag. Left Stef & Petra's 5th anniversary GC. SL.
Thanks again howie_sf.

Didn’t even bother trying to get this on a weekday, but I made a mistake if I thought Sunday was going to be any better. I couldn’t believe the amount of passing traffic that went … well… past while trying to retrieve it. Success in the end. Cheers.
It surprised me how much traffic passed by here on a Saturday morning. With that in mind, it took a little longer than I wanted to find the cache, but I got it in the end. TFTC.

Out for some summertime evening caching, I wonder what some in the passing cars thought we were up to? We did decide if quizzed we were building a bridge to get over it!! But no one stopped, and we discovered the spot, signed the log and dropped in a Path tag for the next adventurer.
Cheers

Found@19:45, last day of work for 2008 and just had to clear this one from my regular drive-by. Spotted the Flipper&Co pathtag but left it for a Geocaching newbie . TFTC howie_sf Cheers 'scargoes
Nice quick driveby. Thanks to Howie SF for another cache in the area. Good hide too. TFTC, TNLN.
Lots of traffic going to DSTO.. had to cross busy road... so AS4360 is appropriate reading. Second [orange]silver[/orange] today which was surprising. [^]
Our thanx and clear skies to howie_sf from TeamAstro
What's this? A new driveby cache, on my way home, just before leaving time? And with an all time classic Australian Standard for a hint? What a pearler!
I drive past here every day now that they've closed the rail crossing on Bolivar (grrr), and have idly thought about putting a cache here. Guess I won't be doing that any more...
Thanks howie_sf!
