Dodged the killer hornet and spider to get this one. Barely escaped with our lives
21/6/21 In Gladstone area on holidays from Mackay. Grabbing some caches while here. TFTC SL Supplied new logsheet as log wet
Grey nomads travelling around Australia in our caravan. 2020 done and dusted, 2021 here we come
Wandering around Gladstone for the week, we have been able to average at least 5 caches per day.
Easy find here, pretty park, so w left our mark and an alien.
Thanks for the hide Avagomob

1MinnieMoo, Pprime, Crew 153 and I were in the area grabbing a few caches - this was a target.
We parked up and made our way via any bit of shade we could to GZ. We soon found the prize safe and sound. A lovely little and quiet park TFTC Avagomob

4/10/20 Find #4194
Fangsoki, Pprime, Crew153 and I were on a log weekend of adventure in and around Gladstone, concentrating mainly on the older caches. The cache was quickly found here in the obvious spot. No worries with muggles - no one was around here in the heat of the day, and only a neighbourhood dog showed signs of knowing we were heading in here.
Thanks for the cache Avagomob.

A long weekend caching trip to Gladstone had been planned with 1MinnieMoo, Pprime and Fangsoki and a list of target caches had been prepared.
An interesting park. I always like the way locals "enlarge" their land by utilizing the park. The cache was quickly located.

I found your nicely hidden cache this afternoon Avagomob on a lovely afternoon caching in the area. Thankyou for placing it here for us to find.
Someone has dumped their green waste round where the GPS kept pointing me to, thinking maybe it's underneath??
A good park for a muggle free stroll in the midday sun
And in the midst of the browness that is Tigalee Park,
the cache was found while the nearby muggles on their verandah,
were distracted by the garbos picking up the wheely-bins
TFTC.

My Last day in the Gladstone area for this trip and I found this one alone with some other before leaving tomorrow. TFTC.
Parked and walked over to the GZ Easy find as the container was sitting exposed . Signed log KFAU ( my shorted username ) 8:00 am 16/5/19 and replaced as found, Avagomob TFTC. Some TB’s Visited.
We came across your cache, Avagomob, on our way caching towards this year's QOGM in Barcaldine.
Nice quick find. Pleasant area: I don't think the nearby Muggles in the houses were too interested.
Log signed and cache replaced at 3:04 PM on September 16, 2018. TFTC.

First geocache found! It was well hidden so took us a while. Think some people must have hidden in different spot as there’s no way you’d see it 10 metres away!
Out and about on a damp Monday afternoon with hancockT. What a great little spot for a cache. Thanks for placing and bringing us here. Someone even left a soccer ball for us to kick around for a bit. We put everything back where we found it, ball included. Tftc.all is well here.
Easy find. Not sure if muggles but it was left out in the open. Spotted from 10m away.
It was a difficult spot to find, especially considering we did it at night time. P.s. Watch the green ants
Found. Very nice breeze rolling through at the moment making my stat at the park much nicer.
No April fool here. Found with RGJ1023. Even my dodgy GPS wasn't enough to deter us here.
Nice little cache for first timers. The kids had a lot of fun "discovering treasures" and now we're keen for more!
A great starter for my young family. My son took a dino and we left a plush heart.
Finally heading south. staying a few days in Gladstone.
After a day of computing and brain strain yesterday it was good to get back out and have a go today. The mozzies werent too bad in the morning although did become friendlier in the arvo. Glad the clouds seem to have pushed on for a bit.
We did find your cache so thanks.
Picked up the TB which has been hanging around here since July!

A very quick find by our apprentice, tjm2806, who was recently released from penitiary after serving time for forging his school reports. A few dogs were barking and one owner came out to enquire if we had "found it." Not sure if he wanted to be helpful or was annoyed at our presence. TFTC
Watch for spiders and green ants. Say hello to Grandma!! TFTC
Swapped dolphin for the ant.
Swapped dolphin for the ant.
Nice easy find, still in great condition (internally), camo is slightly weathered. TFTC
Found on my drive south today, logging a few caches along the road.
After checking in at my hotel I went for a caching tour of Gladstone
Just as I was about to start poking with my geostick I spotted it
Thanks for hiding

Found easily enough, area swarming with green ants though so don't stand still for too long!
Downloaded app last night and visited my parents and thought i would see if any were around. 1 st one down, box in good condition and sharpened the pencil for the next finders. Thanks
Thank for the cache. For any future geocachers it may help to know that the gps marker is not exactly where the cache is. Use the hints and explore the park and you'll find it.

Checked this one out this afternoon and it is certainly missing from where it was hidden. The coordinates were correct however. By the look of the recent flood debris it probably took the opportunity to swim away. Will change the coordinates back to its original position as the reason for moving it no longer exists.
The GPS goes crazy round here on the phone, but eventually found it. Started it off with a item for the next cacher

Finally home long enough to check this one out. It appears that the council will not be finished their program any time soon so have relocated Tigalee.

Council had done some vegetation clearing in preparation for mulching. I may be blind but i can't see it and suspect it may have been disposed of. Can the owner please confirm its still present?
Couldn't find but council has done some vegetation clearing very recently and i suspect the cache may have been disposed of. Can the owner please confirm its still present. Thanks
After getting frustrated in my inability to find Toonee, despite staying at my wife's grandmothers just across the road and having ready access to it... I decided I needed an easier find to announce my return to town. Thank goodness for Tigalee just around the corner! I stole off to the shops on an errand and just happened to call past for an easy find and the TB. Now... Back to Toonee before I leave again... TFTC. Took TB.
What a lovely green park and another good cache hide. Thanks again for the informative notes. Left TB and took key ring.
TFTC Avagomob and bringing us here to visit this nice park.

Fun to find! Swapped the little screwdriver keychain set for a bottle opener and a button badge. Btw, the screwdrivers are perfect for fixing harmonicas!
If you have a pencil sharpener the pencil is getting blunt
This was our second geocache and we are hooked!

Quickest find yet thanks to my geobuddy sister. Took a cool bottle opener and left a screwdriver keychain
2nd find on my first night dogs were a bit noisy but it was a pretty easy and quick one
Found after awhile in the dark while getting eaten alive by mozzies but good find
