Had a good look but nothing found where my son and l hide it. The picnic is over. Aslan*
I used to love this park. Great day to go out. No one was around and found cache quickly. TFTC!
Great cache to get introduced into caching - and nicely hidden from preying eyes of muggles. And motivating for children to trade "treasures"
We love this park. It is one of the kids favourite ones fairly close to home so we were excited to discover some nearby caches today. An easy find. TFTC
Searched for a bit, and then found it randomly under some cabbage leaves. Hid it more in line with what the hint suggests. TFTC
This was a great place to hide that cache. Kept well away from muggle eyes!

This used to be my children's favourite park. It was like strolling down memory lane. It's so good that ugly vacant building has been demolished!
RuruNZ had picked me up on her way to check a cache in the area. As I hadn't been out for a while took the opportunity to locate some caches in the area. We decided who would go which way and I arrived before RuruNZ but she located the container. Nice sized one for a change. Easy view to Platform 5 from this location.
Abducted kiwcampnut to "help me find a treasure". She willingly came.
After confirming that my nearby puzzle cache was indeed missing in action we made the most of the couple of hours she was allowed o be away by finding 5 around the Heathcote area. This was the fourth.
Found out we could have parked somewhat closer - but exercise is good!
Looked out over the fence while kiwicampnut was signing and could clearly see where we had been not long before. Would have been funny if someone else had been getting Platform 5 as we watched.
Wud be an interesting area to watch the development the new subdivision going in where the brewery was. Just hope this area is not fence off when they get around to doing it.
Just a few muggles today, and none where we needed to be.
Thanks

Time for a play and a cache. Used to bring the girls here a lot when they were young. TFTC
Caught sight of 2kids&dog...they thought we were muggles so left them to it and came back the next day. TFTC.
Tftc. A good start to a great day. Insides were a bit wet, tried to dry it a bit.
Found with graemeann while introducing the to geocaching game. Left a button. TFTC.
Despite myself and 4 kids looking we could not locate it. My son was the last to give up after 15 minutes looking ( I'd promised him a reward ) . We are in this area frequently so will try again another day
Found after a ride on the gondola. Haven't been able to do that for a couple of years now!
Left home in sunshine and reached this wonderful park as it poured with rain. Found cache in the rain and then the rain stopped and the day turned sunny and warm again. A first cache find for Cameron who joined my 7yr old as a buddy for a day out and about.
Found it while on lunch break from work at the gondola. Will be bringing the kids back here, playground is awesome!
Nice wee spot. Looks like a fun playground here, if only I was 20 years younger! TFTC
A nice easy find once the muggles with their dogs had gone. Found with ayeffay while taking a break from the family soccer game after Christmas dinner.
We sneaked off to grab this cache, lots of muggles at the playground. We have had a great play at the playground. We'll definitely be back to play and picnic here. There is so much to do for wee ones and there are nice sheltered and shady spots to layout and picnic. It was scary seeing the empty section were the old malt works once was. Just rubble and diggers.

Nice park, and a tempting flying fox...
I keep finding boxes with only two of the four latches engaged. Are people so conditioned by Sistemas that they only see two latches? !
Contents are dry anyway, though.

Found on our last day in Christchurch while on our way the have a ride on the Gondola which we we arrived we found it closed, nice to have told people on there website. After a quick look the cache was soon in hand. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache. TFTH..SL..TNLN
Working around here and needed to use the loo in the domain so had another go at using my phone to find a cache - success I'm pleased to say! Grabbed the Tiki TB. This is a nice spot but the paths are in very poor repair, easy to turn an ankle if you're not careful.

nice place it brightens up my miserable day!! left a visitor vom Hagley Park because I don't want to start the trip list of its from the bottom!!
Took us a little while to find, then we realized we were just a wee bit further down then found it.
Out cycling and stopped by to try my luck with this one. Another day then.
Hard to believe this might have been a DNF a long while back for us - we saw the building being demolished with a wrecking ball. It attracted our attention - we even thought the cache was archieved for some reason. Found by LG quite quickly got opportunity to play of Flying Fox and observe the dust and distruction. Area is in a bit of a mess - LGM
Nice find, followed by lots of trips on the flying fox for the junior cachers. Took aeroplane TB and left dragonfly TB.
Woo hoo! My 100th find! Spent a bit of time fosicing in the succulents before realising it was right under my nose to start with. Took a travel bug.
A bit of a concrete wasteland next door! Watch out as there is a lot of broken glass close to the GZ. Thanks for the cache
am - Had a good hunt and from the hints we were in the right place but we couldn't see this one. Will go back and have another go another day.
pm - We decided to go for a bike ride and search again. Found it this time. Just didn't search hard enough the first time. Cache was a bit damp inside. Not sure if container is still waterproof.

On 28/11/10
Found the 3 trees; didn't find the GC. Was a very nice Sunday and many muggles about, altho not that close to the GZ (except for same teenage male muggles playing by the stream. Will look again if I see it is subsequently found by someone else.
On 11/1/11
How did I miss it last time!! I was in this same area and it was today so easy to find on a run thru this reserve/park. Maybe my gps had a bad hair day last time. TFTC.

All looking perfectly in order. I think Aslan* must have been for a recent check of cache. TFTC.
There have been a couple of DNF's, so I will get the chance to see if its still their later in the week and decide what to do from there. Cheers Aslan*
Found with Mr B while on a Canterbury cache raid. This one was well hidden and we almost missed it. TFTC.
A great morning geocaching with square-route. We are seeing heaps of places we didn't know existed. TFTC
Hey Aslan, thanks for the cache. Yet another interesting little park.
The cache is in good condition.
Its interesting to see the rock fall from Castle Rock. Incredible !!!

A good hide, plenty of people in the PArk but no-one in this secluded spot. Left Geocoin. TFTC.
The Chisnall Family have found another one at last this one was a tad tricky took 4 attempts but everytime we visited the park we just had to have another look. So at last we have found it thanks again the hunt continues
How embarrassing! Hint was clear - coordinates agreed. Just couldn't find a 500ml box!!
Full team of junior cachers in tow this time; refuelled after a trip up the gondola for lunch.
Mother cacher (Dumpling) found her first cache and was grinning from ear to ear.

No muggles in the park this rainy day while I was searching for this cache. Took a wet while to find but there it was. TFTC, Biggles.
Wazza and the Wenches have invaded NZ on a (caching) holiday. Surprisingly the Wench is happy for BBTD and Wazza to chase caches wherever we go.
Our last few hours in NZ. A bit of a drive down Marine Parade. Much to our embarrassment, we found ourselves lost due to roadworks and temporary road closures and ended up having to drive through the tunnel - quite an experience. Eventually we found our way back to the city district and from there out towards the airport. Thanks NZ for showing us a good caching time.
A pleasant spot to stop and let BBTD have a play on the flying fox, and find a cache of course.
Thanks again Aslan*
