Spent a few hours today chasing down a few earthcaches....
After visiting the nearby falls, I headed down here to river and gathered the info, which has been sent.
Thanks for showing me something a little different....and greetings from Australia.

Stopped here for the excellent earth ache on the way to Lex. Enjoyed talking to junior catcher about how watersheds work and the importance of maintaining water quality. Answers forthcoming.
Out picking up ECs today. Tons of info to read and learn from. Thanks for all the info.
Day 2 of my mid-Kentucky caching trip. I got in late yesterday and did not have much time for caching, but I have most of the day today. Hitting mostly numbers caches. Will take very few "Go Illini" photos and logs will be mostly generic.
Find #30. One of three Earthcaches logged on the day. Loved the detailed information. Spent way too much time walking around here (partly because I was distracted by another new cache placement). Required information forwarded to the CO.
MOGA 2014 is coming to Athens, Ohio on March 28-30. Make plans to join us.

Visited this earth cache after dining at Hall's on the River and before nabbing the new cache "hills on the river". Thanks for this cache
Found while hiking the John Holder trail with the Geocky gang.
It was damp but the bugs were leaving us alone.

Heading to the John Holder Cookout and Trailmix. Grabbing up caches along the way. Stopped by here to get the EC. TFTC
Heading for the John Holder Trail Event and picking up cache along the way. Out with Libbie5 and NavyGeo signing logs as BLN. A nice quick stop to contemplative and learn just a little bit about the river. Certainly a well written and educational EC. E-mail sent. TFTC.
I've canoed this section of the river, but this was the first time I've viewed it from the bank. Bugs were hassling me this morning, but I still enjoyed the view. Gracias!
Working on earthcaches for a challenge at home. This one provided a nice lesson.
The near by restaurant was quite busy, but I had been hiking and didn't think it would be good to go in without a shower.
Thanks for the cache.

A busy place near the cache.
It was getting dark when we got to the cache location so our view of the river wasn't the greatest. Also, the plant life blocked some of our view of the river.

I've been wanting to do these Boonesboro area EC's for a while. Too bad I picked what's been the hottest buggiest day of the summer thus far. Thanks!
