So much effort in making a new hide, with a new container style, and somebody has decided they either deserve to have it for themselves or don't want it here at all. Offline until we decide whether to replace it or archive it.
Saw an eclipse mint container here but as we were unsure if that is indeed the actual cache container (we were unable to retrieve it) I'm logging a DNF
Quick easy find. but as someone else said we couldnt get the log out of the container. But TFTC very sneaky. Found with Tahlia.t
Find #112
Find #112
Quick find, needs tweezers to get the log out - I couldn't write in the log because of my fat fingers
Cache has been replaced with a new type that doesn't require top-down access. Let's see how long it lasts! Listing/hint altered.
Not there. A local having lunch on their balcony called out and said it used to be there, but isn't anymore. Can owner please check/replace? Thanks
Looks like it's been pushed down out of reach...again. We'll look at it in a few weeks when we're back down that way.
No find today. Searched all logical places with the geokids and we could not find unfortunately
Having waved to the train as it went by, I headed along to this cache, appreciating all the monuments along the way. When I got to GZ, there was really only one place the cache could be, especially given the hint. Alas, there was nothing there, at least, nothing that my fingers could reach. I'm pretty sure I was looking in the right place, as the graffiti mentioned by previous cachers was still there...

I am in Warrnambool, camping here with Geo-Sons for our annual 10-days-in-a-tent. A few years ago, they started rolling their eyes and saying, "Do we HAVE to go geocaching?" As we've walked around town over the past couple of days, I've kept saying, "I bet we are walking past geocaches" Well, I think I have got the perfect balance this year! They both have to work in Melbourne this weekend, so I have put them on the train, and now have three days to myself until they return on Monday afternoon! Geocaching - here I come!!!

Bit of back logging from our road trips in December - Very windy as we signed the log, Mr Stormcatcher had to chase the bag after it flew away. Such an interesting town, but we really need to continue on our trip home ! TFTC
If anyone finds a Garmin etrex30 GPS in Warnambool - please, please, please send me a message - I miss it dearly!
Thanks and happy caching!
Thanks and happy caching!
Found on a caching day trip in the warnambool area with beaker and ferociousflea. TFTC!
Lazy Sunday drive and a few caches with Beaker and Astronaut99. Easy find. The dirty was topped off by some random graffiti at gz. Ewww. Lol. Thanks
Found at 1732. A quick find while the local hoons drove around and around littering a nice park. TFTC.
Today we drove the great ocean road and stop to do a few caches along. This drive is the highlight of our Australian trip. Each time we stop it is simply is simply magnificent.

Another cache that we hadn't found before leaving the state in Dec 2009. The angel has a big reputation!
Thanks o'cholio.

In Warrnambool to pick up a few caches on our way to SA. After abandoning our search for a nearby multi due to a busy event at the old baths site, we decided to hunt for this cache. Short search had the cache in hand. Thanks for the cache.
Out caching down the the great ocean road with Paddle chic and bullertrout our kiwi group over for the Surf Coast Mega signed log " Team Kiwi" thanks for the placement
We are a group of cachers from Nelson New Zealand on a mega trip around Victoria

Staying in Warrnambool with a muggle friend overnight after returning from the Anglesea Mega event...I introduced her to caching so went out to get a few...
My friend new exactly what this dirty angel was all about...I directed her to where GZ was to be...there was a park right in front ...stepped out and grabbed it in rapid time...signed & replaced...I took photos from this angle & had intended to take a nice front on one but it completely slipped my mind...oh well, next time...

On our way home after attending the Mega Cache weekend and extending our break at Warrnambool we quickly grabbed a couple of caches. This was a nice easy find.

Two Norwegian travellers on vacation/geocaching in Australia. Travelling by car from Brisbane to Adelaide with stops in interesting and not so interesting places.
Until now: Coolum Beach - Kilcoy, Stanthorpe, Byron Bay, Port Macquire, Nelson Bay, Hunter Valley, Wagga Wagga, Beechworth and Melbourne.
After Melbourne we are moving slowly westward and will stop at the villages and small towns along the coast. Yesterday we left Apollo Bay and arrived Warrnambool in the afternoon. Rainy day today so not so much geocaching. But we went to Tower Hill and hopet the rain will stop. It didn't stop so we returned to town. Easy find.

Day 2 of the girls' road trip to Warrnambool, which then extended out to Bendigo on day 3. On day 4 we picked up another passenger for Harry as the new passenger needed a lift to Adelaide.
Today we headed back out to Tower Hill, accompanied by micaparamedic, to find Alex' Towering Inferno [^] Then it was off to the 1 month to the Surf Coast Event - Warrnambool for lunch of some great sausages before we wandered the location with other friendly geocachers and finally GoodLook and I drove around Warrnambool and found some caches on our own
18 caches found , only 2 DNFs [^] and 1 event attended
After the nearby event, micaparamedic came with GoodLook and I to this cache as apparently there was something about it that we needed to see[?] [?]
Standing at GZ and the cache was found and then the Iconic Angel was pointed out to us [?]
No angel should be doing that!
I was just on the wrong angle as I also had a flag pole in my view but a small movement left nothing to the imagination
Some people's minds just never get out of the gutter and back up onto the footpath

A lovely spot.
Talk about déjà vu ..... this is the second weekend in a row that I have been on a girls caching road trip with Locus Cache to Victoria. This time however it was a fabulous 4 day jaunt AND we may have even brought back a lovely Victorian fella with us (micaparamedic).....ALWAYS an enjoyable time when we hang out!
Kaye and I travelled from Adelaide to the beautiful Warrnambool area to attend a Friday night picnic in the park event and then on Saturday we enjoyed a yummy BBQ lunch at the 1 month to the Surf Coast Mega Event. Bendigo was our next overnight stop and then we headed home....which only took us 15 HOURS!! haha It wasn't the Little Desert National Park we got lost in this weekend, it was Murray Sunset National Park...LOL - but we did get a joint first to find which made the detour all worth it....who needs to get 8hours sleep before needing to be at work the next day anyway??
We targeted a number of caches over the weekend, including some oldies of Alex...very cool finding original ammo cans in the bush and some to help out the D/T grid!
Once again the conversations were highly amusing and we enjoyed lots of belly laughter!! haha [:o)]
We saw kangaroos, emus, lots of birds and a whole heap of water due to recent heavy rains.
GEOCACHING ROCKS!!! [:X]
Thanks for the cache o'cholio!

Quick find while outnabout with Wollaston on a visit to Warrnambool after watching the Grand Final in Melbourne. Didn't have a replacement log on board but does need one. TFTC
My phone gps must think I need more exercise. Parked 140m away from gz (hoping get pick up another cache whilst I am here - but that one also has been muggled), and then ended up walking about 300m with the gps leading me all over the place. Eventually got to gz, signed log and headed back to the car just in time to avoid getting rained on again. TFTC
Wow that's a strong magnet! Our first find in Warnambool while on holiday from NZ. Will hopefully find a few others before heading on towards Ballarat later today. Tftc
Yet again, this one has fallen down into the void. We'll try and retrieve/replace it at the earliest opportunity.
If the cache is where we figured it would be then it has gone missing ... possibly dropped. But thank goodness the angel is still there! It was still fun looking ... Thanks for the hide!
Had a good look in all the obvious places for this one and couldn't find it.
Still enjoyed seeing the famous angel
