With 2 FTFs on offer, I selected the Wonthaggi, Inverloch, and Cape Paterson areas to go geocaching. Obviously, I went for the 2 FTFs first and got 1 of them. Then, I just selected geocaches that caught my attention. 16 finds, and only 1 DNF is not too bad when I wasn't rushing around, and often parked further away than necessary so that I could enjoy a walk on this lovely day.Collected this one while walking back to the car after spending a few hours on the beach and watching the surfers.Thanks for the cache, pprass.Hunter
great views and easy grab and goNice drive from Inverloch and hitting the eagles next cache too. Easy find here and spectacular view of the ocean. Lovely! TFTC
Kylie 51yo and eloise 6yo, it was eloise that ended up finding it. Our first time ever geocashing so it was very hard.
*Found on the 20 Oct 2024 @ 3:15pm.**Cache find # 15904.* After attending the CITO and event earlier on in Inverloch, it was now time to head out and find a few caches and AdLabs as I was making my way to Cape Paterson.I had now arrived at Cape Paterson and I started with this one heading down the trail and into the bushes at the end, shortly after my name was in the log.**Thanks to pprass for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**
Found with icw. We couldn't find any Banksia species, but found a likely looking spot under a Boobialla [*Myoporum insulare*) and that held the cache. Tftc.
Tried to walk to this one along the trail from the other car park, but their was a lock on the gate. So, I had to drive closer and managed to get cache and quickly sit down to look "normal" seconds before muggles arrived
Nice little wander down a track we have wandered before. All these lookouts have awesome views and with the weather being so kind to us there isnt much wind and rain to spoil the experience.Thanks pprass for the cache, found it, signed it and replaced as found. TNLNSL

This year we headed to Cape Paterson to stay a few days over new years and had a nice stay at this beach location I had not been to before. Plenty of people around but that is expected at this time of year.After exploring the beach on arrival I took a round-a-about trip past this on the way back to this house. Had to wait a couple of minutes for a muggle sitting on his electric bike nearby to move on and then I ducked in to the bushes for a nice quick find.Thanks pprass for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Not actually under a Banksia tree under a T tree the opening to the track to find the cash is on a viewing area overlooking the ocean
