We swung past after previous comments about the cache not being only a metre from path, and then the DNF from tangowithcupcake. Robots 1 and 3 had a good look at original placement, and then searched further in and all around.

Given we couldn't find it, and the cache seems to have moved a few times, we're going to disable this cache. Thanks to everyone who found it and logged it.

Was conducting an ever widening search amongst the storm debris when a neighbour got a bit nosy and spoiled the fun.

Is it my GPS or are the coordinates WAY out, I found the cache 8m away......... eventually...... after 3 tries with many eyes

I think the distance from the path is more like 3m. I had originally restricted the search to 2m and found a few likely spots but had to search wider away when nothing was found and only unearthed the container after seeing a gleam under the leaves.

Thanks for the cache.

Enjoyed this cache. Last one of the day. Seems my GPSr is giving me a few misleading readings. Found the cache but not where it was telling me. The cache was about 10m from the reading. Baffle and I were looking one side of the path and the cache was on the other. What made me look over the other side I have no idea but I went straight to the cache.

Urch's Aussie 2008 Emu GC visiting.

Lucky to find. Coord location suggested a hollow tree which was empty. Magwing found it by intuition on the other side of the path.

WanderingAus wandered by, dodging "occasional showers", and the gps didn't want to settle down at all. I knew the cache was "two metres from a walking path", so I was able to limit my search area, and after about 5 metres of searching parallel to the path I was happy to make a GAFF 1 find.

My find No 1304, LCC, TNLNSL, dropped Mr Sticky TB (ref = TB1RJVF), Mum's Dreams TB (ref = TB2AAZQ) and my WanderingAus Happy New Year 2008 Gold GC in for a visit before grabbing them back again.

Fifth of 5 caches that I did on a stroll from the airport while I waited for my departure. Much better than the departure lounge. This time my mojo nearly left me. I took a stroll to the river for a goosey gander. On my return it was in the first place I looked. No horses seen today.

Five caches found. Nine km walked in two hours. Love your work. Thanks for the fun guys.

At first I thought this cache had been muggled as there was no cache in a likely spot where the GPS had taken me, a hollow tree with a well worn path to and around it. Before giving up I broadened the search to the other side of the path and success. TNLN. TFTH.

Went out to find this cache mainly to discover the Endian 2006 geocoin from Canberra that was in it. Due to the road blockage at Maccas, we drove down Epsom Ave and parked at the end of Wickham place for a short 40 metre walk as Mal has an injured foot, so it was a painful and slow walk to the cache. Searched around the tree on the west side of the path, then read the hint and quickly found the cache at 5:45pm on the east side of the path. Another nice spot by the river we hadnt been to before. Left nothing but took the "Endian 2006" geocoin to move along. Thanks for the cache Robot 3.

Had a bit of trouble with this cache as both our gps's insisted it should be in the hollow tree near the fence.however after reading the hint it was soon uncovered

Yay - my first cache for 2009! Lovely area, it's pretty amazing to see all the horses walking down the roads around here.
Took me a bit of searching to find this one, but I got there in the end. Not too hot today.
I took the Cornwall GC, and left the Roonwicket Gnome TB. Thanks for the cache Robot 3!

We drove down to the general area about 8pm and not really having been there before ended up parking at macca's and 'hoofing' it in from there. It was a nice little walk and we noted that many people here have stables in their back yard? Anyway, we got there and found that we were second to find, a little disappointing since we had a far ways to go. Our youngest son, OptimusCache who also just turned 8 came with us to try out his new remote speed boat that Santa brought but we got to the pond and the batteries had exploded! tough luck, on both accounts it seems. I did leave two very beautiful traveling coins for the next cacher to move along...
Thanks for the walk up on a beautiful summer night.

We made the quick trip out here. I didn't make the connection with the horse stables until much later. The find was pretty quick. It was visible from the path so I might be concerned about passers-by finding it.

Due to a recent blockage of a road we have used in the past to get into the area we parked at McDs and walked the 300 odd meters, extremely nice at this time of the night.

Very happy to have another FTF under our belts. Thanks for the cache.

Grabbed TB Waalla for another cache soon.
