After getting a phone call about this cache I checked it out, looks like the shire has been cleaning up here and the cache has gone!
Hi. Was caching and took the time to get yours but to no avail. Even checking with another cacher who had found this one. It wasnt where expected or anywhere around. Area has been disterbed an dirt around tree. ? Missing? Scrappy_1
Found this one with NoonaB, our last cache for our quick afternoon of caching, a nice little park, with a pretty water hole and an old tyre swing that in desperately wanted to try.. however sensibility got the better of me.. back to cache hunting. a nice little find, and trackable retrieved and another placed in. Thanks for the hide
Found this cache today with Bigrobv. A nice and easy find and was our last cache for the day. Nice little park, thanks for the hide
Nice neat park this and quiet too this made it easy to find.. left a T/B.... TFTC
We stopped here for lunch, great picnic spot. Then we decided to check for caches, wow!
Wind really getting up, the noise through the trees is drowning out the birds.
Thanks for bringing us here.
Thanks for bringing us here.
Found while geomum was taking a lunchbreak. Found a TB. Beautiful park to visit, will bring geokids back here for a play sometime soon I think. TFTC
Searched for a quick find after being stumped by the mystery rail trial. Beautiful day to be in the park - picked up the TB to take on an adventure
In Maffra today on business with enough time spare to squeeze in a few caches. What a lovely little area this is! We stopped to check out the rope swing that was dangling over the river... do people actually use this? Nowhere near enough water below today for this one to be safe. Would love to see the river when it's full. Wandered off to find the cache and soon had it in hand. SL TNLN Thanks for bringing us here oakman1.
Have passed the cows many times. Amazing what you see if only you stop and look. TFTC.
After a great long weekend, nanton34 suggested we all had lunch at what was a great park for the geokids (all 7). The kids had a ball, but after working out the solution for a multi it was realised that nanton34 would be without a find in maffra today as the final WP was in another park. Luckily for me I was a short walk away from finding this one, a cache previously found by nanton when he first discovered this great reserve. The fake cows are doing a horrible job at chewing the grass unfortunately, that aside I also recommend stopping by for a picnic to break up a long trip home. tftc
Found it today......Yay! I don't know how I missed last time. A very nice park to visit and take a walk. Tyftc
I use to come to this park with my family when we lived here. The park has changed a bit since then, much neater looking now. I have brought my son to this park many times before we started geocaching, it's always been a lovely picnic spot. TFTC
thought it was going to be an easy find but didn't find it .. family playing in the park told us they had just seen a brown snake so we were a bit cautious to go too far off track .. will try again..
Caches always lead you to interesting places. Could have driven straight through Maffra without knowing this place was there. Needed a stop off for lunch with the kids on the way home from camping. Beautiful play area and reserve. Then continued on to the Motor Museum on the way out, great place. Picked up the TB.
Driving Dangerous goods from Dandenong to Bega, stopped in maffra for one drop and then for lunch and decided to grab a cache )
A little search and geomum finds it! A pretty park for a toilet break, leg stretch and geocache!
Nice cache! On the way up to NSW for holidays we decided to stretch our legs and give in to that little part of your brain that screams GEOCACHING!!! An awesome place to put a cache.

A nice walk through the park and my 6yo had the cache before I could say I think its in that tree.

Quick easy find in a lovely little reserve, geodog really enjoyed a run here. Thanks for bringing us here, TFTC
Noticed a DNF so I went for a walk passed the cache and it is still tucked away nicely so keep looking
Kato Potato and I cruised into Maffra for a toddler-free afternoon of caching and waddled our pregnant bellies past this beautiful playground (future destination - tick!) and on to the gz. Passing a couple of teenagers sunbathing after a dip in the creek, boy did they look sheepish; must have been a bit amorous, we made a quick find, signed the log and were on our way. TFTC oakman1, a delightful park I'm sure I'll bring my kid(s) back to since I work in Maffra occasionally.
Such a beautiful spot to discover with kyabbott on a caching afternoon. We waddled our pregnant selves in the general direction of this one and were slightly worried that gz may be located very nearby some frisky looking teenagers by the riverside... happily this awkward confrontation was avoided and the cache was quickly in hand, conveniently out of sight of the nearby muggles. Thanks for the cache oakman1, and for the introduction to this reserve.
Thanks for replacing hillywilly FT(re)F all is good and back ready to go nice easy find with kids
Just went and placed a replacement cache in the same spot so anyone visiting Maffra can go find this with confidence that it is there!
Looked everywhere found lots of slaters and some sick Cicada shells but no cache.
Nice easy find while Mrs Ringtail did a bit of groceries.
Didn't even know this spot existed!
Log was very damp. TFTC.
