Well, due to changes in work travels, I won't be able to maintain this cache.
It is however, a great spot for one so I invite people to consider placing one here.
Thanks all, Jeff Tickell.

I will be heading through Myrtleford in the next week. I will relocate the container and adjust the co-ords then.

We were driving back through Myrtleford at night, so thought we would have another try at this one. We went over everything with a torch, but still couldnt find it. Never mind!
I think I would like to hire chewinprickles grandchild. I did not have the luxury of a small one to camouflage my interest in the playground. There was one very attentive grandma supervising her grandbabies in a very officious manner, and she put the wind up me, so I left without making the find. Was only there for the day too, so will have to mark this as a miss . However, I did find twenty cents!!!!! Thanks for the cache.

I had the advantage and indeed good fortune to have brought along our eight year old grandson so wandering about the playground was infinitely easier than it would have been otherwise. Geojen found the cache right under the noses of a few kiddie muggles and I managed to fill it in and return it still under their noses and they were none the wiser.
All pretty easy really. I wonder if I could rent out said grandson

I stopped at this cache on my way to Bright earlier in the week, but there were some children playing, so I kept on moving. On my way home, I stopped again, but it was again being used. Unfortunately, (or possibly fortunately) at this point in time, my alternator gave up the ghost - the engine had been making occasional strange noises previously but I could never work out what it was.
As a result, I had to stay in town overnight while the repair company ordered a replacement. Therefore, I was later able to return to the park and find the cache without any muggles around. It was easily found and easily retrieved, so I suspect that it may not be in its original hiding spot. (It may be worth the owner checking it out next time they are nearby).
The required part didn't make it to Myrtleford on the next day (Saturday) so I had to return home by bus and train. C'est la vie. At least it happened in a town and not out in the middle of nowhere like where I'd been the day before. Thanks for the cache, and for something to do in town while I sat around waiting.

Found the right spot, but too many mini-muggles playing for a couple of adults to start looking for the cache! Will come back another day.
Found at 3pm on the way to Falls Creek. Not sure if the cache was in an appropriate spot, but we couldn't find anywhere better so we put it back where we found it. Might be worth the owner checking out whether it has been moved.

If it wasnt for a nasty cold i have, we may well have been FTF's but after over a week since appearing, we are more than pleased with a 3rd to find.
Spotted by the keen eyed Mrs Red Devil, worryingly it was the actual log she spotted first, and after my retrieval and signing, i did have some difficulty in properly replacing the log back into its holder.
A neat little hide, thankfully no muggles about, definatley an advantage to have the younger ones with you though...i tried to make myself look like an inspector or something...
Note to self.............add a clipboard to my cache bag..lol.

Well done to the first finders. Thanks for the note re the log being exposed. It was a spur-of-the-moment cache placement while in town and I now have a more appropriate container. I will swap it when next in Myrtleford.

Found 07/01/09 1643 . I was surprised that this one was listed in Cachemate as still being unfound after a week but I suspected that someone would have got to this cleverly concealed cache before me ... I just didn't think it would only be a couple of hours before me [:o]
Oh well... 2TF is better than a poke in the eye with a burnt stick [B)]
The hgh temperatures must have been keeping the mugglettes away so I was able to search unhindered ... if there had been kids around I think I would have given it a miss

Cheers Jeff Tickell
