Once again we discover new things on our walks through the city. The train station, the parliament buildings and the churches are beautiful buildings. We enjoy a delicious coffee and browse in the shops. But our hobby is not neglected either and we can conjure up a few smileys. Many thanks to all owners and greetings from the Moorhelmi
After getting completely off track, and barking up a tree, I realised where I should be looking. Tftc
Took the excuse of a lovely Wellington waterfront walk (much like everyone else in the city it seems) with this cache as the turn around point. Made the mistake of trying to get the cache with my broken wrist then quickly remembered that these angles are not attainable at the moment. Regardless. The cache was signed and returned without much issue. Thanks.

I didn't really envisage ever finding this because hides like this are not at all why I do geocaching. But I was not far away on a rainly public holiday and, of course, it wasn't busy. I'd already determined with near certainty where the cache was because I've been past here many times and I was pleased to put my hand on the cache quickly - but it wasn't quite mounted as I expected. Retreated to the wall to sign then returning did not go very well. There seemed to be no ferrous surfaces to attach the cache to and it was quite a number of seconds of fumbling before I found where it went. At least wearing a raincoat (in the rain) felt a bit more anonymous than might otherwise have been the case. Great to get a smiley here against my better judgement. TFTC.
Found while in WEL for a weekend on a morning run, had to pick the right moment between gym comers and bikers meeting super close to GZ.Good spot!
Quick find while tying shoelace lol Down in Wellington for the weekend so hoping to get a few while enjoying the city. TFTC
Second of a couple while on this afternoon's pre-event stroll around the area. Once I'd read the hint, it was a nice quick find at 16:50.TNLNSL. Thanks GeoGeoKiwi.
LOTS of muggles not minding their own business. Easy to grab but harder to re-hide
Alot of mugglers tried to be discret as much as possible(not very good) tftc

This was a good one because it was put in a eclipse mints container and I loved when we had to look for the tugboat
I won't be able to fix the cache for a couple of weeks. Add a photo of the empty container with your found log
Found the empty container with lid broken off on the ground. Think it's been muggled No log book but definitely the cache container.
I chose a super windy day to log this cache so there were fewer muggles about!! Thanks for a great stealthy urban cache!!

Out for some cache finds on a wet Wellington morning with essap2. #10 TFTC GeoGeoKiwi
Nice hide here, as it is a very busy area. Stealth mode definitely required. TFTC
Left the car at the B and B and Ubered into the City for an event and a look round. Didn't venture too far and picked up a few caches on the waterfront. Thanks for placing
Found while here on a short holiday. Thankyou for your contribution to geo caching
Found this one on our way back to motel. Had to be stealthy with people watching from verandah. Great hide. TFTC
Found in the darkness of the early morning. Surprised at how many muggles were out running, managed to do the deed between encounters however. Thanks GeoGeoKiwi
A gorgeous night in Wellington, so I caught the bus out to Oriental Bay. What a busy place it was. People swimming, walking, biking, running. I spent a bit of time looking in completely the wrong place for this, before shifting to a different location and finding the cache straight away. Thanks for the cache!

I am with Muggle on a three and half week trip to NZ. Nothing serious, just the well trodden track every NZ tourist does who is coming from the other side of the world and has not the chance to come here more often. North Island is done, Auckland Coromandel, Rotorua touched. Now it is two days to spend in Wellington before the ferry goes.In the morning we were exploring the botanic gardens. Nice spot is the Begonia Cafe. The raspberry slice with the white chocolate satisfied all my needs. In the afternoon we checked out Cuba street. What a nice area. Spinning with life. Next was a walk on the waterfront. Just tire out yourself completely with impressions. And I was so tired in the evening. But this city has so much nice places to go. The cafe in the tugboat was closed. Somehow it looked like as if they were no longer operating. But who knows? Sometimes I am quite surprised at the opening times of shops and restaurants. Very staff-friendly. Slowly I get used to it.Thx for hiding.
TFTC Find#- 99OCW - GeoLorikeet Notes- so close to 100! A quick find while out caching

A lot of stealth required, but luckily not too many people around as theyre busy doing last minute shopping instead of enjoying the Bay.
We are for two nights in Wellington and have some time to find caches. This was one of them. TFTC
