Found on our annual pilgrimage to Balmoral for Easter. Quick find. Peaceful spot. TFTC
Had a fun drive out to the place I spent quite a few Saturday nights...Nice little area Tftc
quick find. added log sheetFound with Mogni. I think this is the most changed trip in the planning stage that i have ever been on. The " original trip " was supposed to start on the 31st of dec but at the start of decemeber life changed and the trip was now starting on the 26th of decemeber and all accommodation that had booked cancelled and now see what else is free on the ealier dates. A major readjust of plans and got 1/2 the trip booked before the next curve ball came in to alter the plans again. More adjusting the plans again and i realized i could host 2 CITO's in 2 different LGA's in victoria. What we do to qualify for victorian challenge caches. Also i got my 20, 000 cache over in victoria in this trip. It was decided in the end that the 4x4 was going to be the vechicle for this trip that way we could go and target all the caches that you never get, the ones down the sandy/rocky/dirt and forestry roads/tracks. We left Adelaide and headed to Casterton for a couple of days, then to Budj Bim National Park ( and saw 5 koalas in the camp ground high up in the trees ), then over Heywood, a night in Mount Gambier plus there attended the 3rd CITO of the trip before sending a few nights in Millicent and then finally home. Over 250 caches found plus 86 lab caches. Mogni also got her 11th D/T loop. I also got 3 more victorian LGA's up to 20 finds mininium for another victorian challenage cache. If the cache was broken/eaten/smashed it was reaced with a new container and if the logsheet was wet it was replaced and if the log was full or almost full extra log sheets were added to the cache.
Christmas holidays means caching trip with sir_spectre. This year we managed to attend 3 CITO's, claim 2 FTF's, visit lots of Adventure Labs and claim many smilies.Caches that needed some love got it, and we might of even hidden a few too.As a bonus I got to catch up with my family and some friends along the way. Thanks to the.judge from mogni .
Parked up and made the short walk into this cache, nicely tucked away the cache was foundThis week I decided to head to Victoria for a few days to target finishing off the Ballarat Geotour and also find the new series in St Arnaud, anything else was a bonus. I ended up finding a little over 300 caches plus a tonne of ad labs along the way. Thanks for the cache
Found it after looking at hint - yes coordinates are a bit out but not too hard to find - beautiful area SLTFTC
SL at 11:25am. Daytrip out with my geopup. I had to take her to the vets this afternoon in Hamilton so why not do some caching beforehand. Yeah ok, I will say I was going around in circles here before using the hint to find the cache. No sign of any slithering creatures here today or any foxes.

Our first visit to Balmoral had us picking up a few caches as we made our way home.
We drove out a bit further up the road to make this find before heading back into town.
Thanks the.judge for the placement.

Accurate coordinates and the additional information led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks the.judge for the cache.
This was a definite must for us as I like to find caches placed before 2010. Thank you for placing this one and maintaining it for so long.
GT37 likes to find old caches so this was a must for us today. This is a lovely area that we must get back to and explore some more. Unfortunately not enough time today. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.
After a great few days in Portland visiting dad and really enjoying our new found freedoms we decided to take the long way back to Melbourne via Swan Hill and grab a few caches on the roads that we don't travel that often.
We enjoyed reading the history on the cache page and had a bit of a chuckle with the mention that "Lin Po" may have passed this way. as we have followed his ventures from Robe to Victoria. so we had to stop and try our luck at this one.
Once parked we followed the GPSr to gz and as normal if there is two likely locations the good sized cache was found in the second place we checked. At least we can say that the log book now contains our name.
Many thanks the.judge for the history and the hide.

There was a feeling of being escorted by the magnificent Grampians as we enjoyed a warm day of caching and exploring the countryside to the south west of Horsham in the fine company of Suscoe. Interesting to see a mention of Chinese diggers walking to the goldfields, where they were so important to the founding of community organisations.
Satellites today had our GZ 8 metres west of where we found the cache.
Our thanks to 'the.judge' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

Suscoe headed out for some caching today in the terrific company of our friends Phetlern.
It was a warm to hot day, quite sunny at first but later on some high cloud moved in and tempered the sunshine just a little.
We saw some wonderful countryside with some emus, kangaroos, birds of all kinds, lots of happy sheep and cows in green fields, some great looking crops and those wondeful mountain ranges to the east.
We found a terrific range of caches and in some interesting locations.
All in all we covered a bit over 300 kms in our journey.
Thanks to the.judge for this hide.
A quick find here with no local wildlife anywhere abouts.

This one is the perfect example of those who wonder are not always lost. Took a bit to find but such a peaceful place. Tftc
Found It!
This one took me a bit longer to find than it should have. But after a bit of wandering around I soon found the right place to be looking!

Nice. Last one on our way back to camp after being out this morning looking for others. TFTC, The Munstas
Tricky one definitely enjoyed finding it! You do need a pen on hand happy hunting
Quiet the interesting cache about the local history of the area, much appreciate you sharing the story, and for the cache. Nice to grab a few around town. Cheers
There was one last cache along this road, so we went up the hill to find it. We soon figured out it was a bit off the track so found the nearest point along the track and next the car, heading off into the bush. Rather than bush bash I went around parches of bush and ended up in a corridor of space . I got to a place where the finding device indicated was GZ, but the coordinates were very shonky in area. I spread out searching, but it was only after reading the very useful hint , that l hit on the cache. All was well and good there. I signed the log and we headed further west.
Nice little hidden piece of bush here.
Today I worked in Horsham and with the afternoon free I decided to drive the long way back to Ballarat via the western side of the Grampians. The trip took me 6.5 hours instead of the usual 2! Lol. I've never driven these roads so I enjoyed the journey. The sun was shining, beautiful green grass and yellow canola fields everywhere with the Grampians rising above. An easy find here - many thanks for the cache.

Found this one with the help of the hint although I must confess to missing the cache upon first inspection of the hide. We couldn't see any other "reasonable" place for a cache so I checked again a little more thoroughly this time and was rewarded with the cache!

With a three day break from work over the Easter period, this geo family decided to make our way to Rocklands for a camping trip to an area we had never been before. We loved the trip, going through many towns that had much history and stopping to enjoy them. We pulled into this secluded arae and saw that a sheep had had a fight in here. There was wool everywhere and a few bones too. We didn't stay long after we made a quick find of the cache. Stamped and replaced as found.
**Thanks for placing this trad cache the.judge**
**Cache container and log in fine condition**

Another find by the McPhail family... TFTC

Interesting area, we wondered where this road leads to. The cache was found in the obvious place. We parked and let the GPS settle and went to where it pointed and sure enough we found a nicely hidden cache container. SL TFTC
bit dumb on this on e, couldn't find right track-no coverage didn't help - hope to be back tftc
Quick find as we head back in to Balmoral from Rocklands.

We found Cache! Together with fellow rock'n'rollers returning from a huge weekend of dancing in Horsham stopped for lunch at Balmoral. Muggle friend beat me to it, so not longer a muggle. Great Fun! TFTC
Taking Mrs 1SR on a country drive stopped for a quick find at 11.55. Nice quick bush bash.

Found with OzzieBear while having an overnight stay in Balmoral. A great location for a cache - the bushland is glorious, quite different from the Western District. We love the gums. Thanks for bringing us to the area.
MrSnoop & OzzieBear found at 11.40am after an enjoyable wander through the scrub. A great hiding place but the logbook was soon signed & returned. Thanks for the cache
On our way through to Warrnambool today from Horsham and grabbed this one while passing by. TFTC the.judge and the brief bit of history of the town. A nice easy grab today.
Found with auzzie convict on our way home after a great weekend caching in Victoria tftc took tb
Found quite quickly - ironically, we left a travel bug whose code starts with HRH... . TFTC.
I deviated from my trip to grab this one, and then realised that I was short of time and skipped the two in town. Next time. Thanks to the cache owner for the cache.
Found with some friends after having a drive around rocklands. Great hiding spot. TFTCSL
