Found what we thought was the perfect spot but nothing there. Looked all around all the trees, might have been muggled..
No luck with this one, though we were looking for a systema container as specified in the cache description, but reading back through logs, looks like it was replaced with a v bottle at some point.
After a nice quick find at the other 'local' cache we headed over here. Looked in this hole and that, around and around, read the description, hint and logs but still no luck.
Either its just another of G-2's very awesome camo's (the more likely option) or its been muggled .
Thanks for bringing us here anyway and whiling away the time until our dinner was ready.

Found it after we visited the markets. spent a lovely day in Matakana thanks
What a lovely little spot and not many mugged. A large truck with a wheel off covered what I did. Loved the entrance way SL TFTC
Had a good look around most of trees think gps was not spot on found something dead that's juices ran down my hand no luck though muffles everywhere
It's not a systema container, it's more of a small cylinder/bottle. Unless we found the wrong one.
A lovely hiku inside to read.

Hey guys first NZ geocache adventure and DNF
Oh well! Still as beautiful day with a great waterfall view.

Ate our picnic lunch here in the sun before venturing over to search for the cache. We thought we mightn't be able to find it but during a break in the muggles one of the kids came up with the goods. TFTC
Second DNF for the day think we found the right tree and got right in there but no luck
Stink, can't find it. Pretty sure we're in the right spot & shoulder deep in search but no cache for us today.
Took us a while but finally got there thanks to J's longer arms. nice area, lots of people around. Cache is no longer a sistema TFTC
I was forced to sit in the car and wait for a few minutes while two gorgeous yummy mummy's passed by the tree with the cache, ooh dear, life is sooo hard when you are caching. Things I have to put up with... and it's all your fault G-2, I only have you to blame (or thank) for that.
interesting loos. Stopped here for a bite of lunch (and to find the cache of course). A gegho or skink (not sure which) ran down the tree into where the cache container was. Great hiding spot. TFTC
Tried earlier in the day, but was put off by picnic muggles. Called in again on the way home from the beach and found it strait away! TFTC
In the district to take my nieces wedding service. Thanks for the cache. Great place to visit.
Toilet stop + park & grab after snorkelling at Goat Island. Kiwi finally found cache but Kiwiscot was required to retrieve as Kiwis paws were to large. Unfortunately a wedding photographer snuck up on us whilst we were all kneeling around the tree trying to grab the cache. Need to keep a better look-out next time. TFTC
Accidentally touched a lizard when rooting about but found it!! Also - the way that tube fits inside the container is almost orgasmic. Thank you!
Out and about with the family for the day, and thought we'd get some caches at the same time. Headed past here earlier this afternoon, but there was way to many people here to even think of trying to look for the cache. A bit quieter when heading back home so thought we'd have a look. Took a bit of hunting before finding the well hidden cache. Thanks for the hide.
Taken many attempts at this time of year but today I was lucky noone was about.
Description mentioned log book, items of treasure & pencil... there is only a small piece of paper in it.
Thanks.

Thanks.
We decided to head out to Matakana to visit the Market and afterwards to watch Shakespeare in the Vines presenting Macbeth. On our way around the area we also collected some geocaches. Quick find at GZ. TFTC
I looked in the obvious spot and was totally wrong I needed to do a more thorough search. With muggles coming and going it was a bit tricky. Perseverance payed off and the neat hiding place was found.
Out tonight at the rusty for pizza followed by the cinema. Couldn't resist a quick grab between events.
No room left on the logs so we have replaced with fresh paper.
Here with Barny.
Find #1068. Thank you very much for the cache. 25/11/2014 20:30

that was quite funny. there was only 2 other people having a picnic in the park and they happened to be friends of ours! tftc
Found it - muggles everywhere. So glad to have kids for cover in times like this. No trackable in the cache so probably missing?
Lovely spot, first visit to matakana and great place to feed a few ducks and geocache while the better half wanders around the shops. No pen to sign unfortunately. Many thanks again!
BZZZZT. Muggles right by GZ and not in a hurry to move. Will have to try this one another day.
Nice location, a wedding had just finished while I was there, taking pictures at the sculptures.
Found this with my daughter Amie which is her first find. I was thrown on my first attempt by the cache description.
Found this with Bapboy1996 after having to explain geocaching to some muggles. TFTC
A nice easy find on a terribly windy day while the power was out with jtp2001. After being misled by JTP as to the size of the cache and rereading the cache description, managed to find almost straight away. TFTC!
Went this way and that way. Then decided to go back to where we started - yeah. Worth the challenge - thanks
Noticed this was showing as disabled so when I was driving by I thought I'd stop and check on it. It is definitely still there so you can enable it again glyn(the only one)!
