25-Sep-10
After being soundly barked at by 2 dogs in nearby houses we gave up looking near GZ and widened our search. Eventually found it 40m away under a bush as mentioned in previous log. Yep container is completely broken and log is wet. Needs some TLC. Didn't have a spare container with us to replace it sadly. TFTC

13-Sep-10
Gave up on this one... Then as I was walking back to car I found it under a bush quite a distance from gz. Container is broken and toys inside are ripped. I replaced it where I found it. I hope this one gets repaired before a dog or a mingle child finds it.

29-Aug-10
Odd as I have visited this cache in the past. Thought it would be a quick log and go but this time I failed to find it??

19-Aug-10
I looked until the dogs started barking. No joy. Albida

12-Aug-10
The cache container is in a very sad state of repair and the lid is missing. Looks like the local dog has chewed on it

12-Aug-10
Walking along the path enjoying the wind when the dog nearby barked and had me three feet of the ground. The container has no lid and is in a sade state of affairs. SL TNLN TFTC

06-Jun-10
Found this one with geobaby. Looks like it has been attacked by something and is in need of some maintenance, was in the open when found. TNLN

We found our first one!!! An easy one to start with and just around the corner from our house. It's a little battered and looks like it's seen some rain, but how exciting!

29-Apr-10
Found cache easily, but the barking dogs were almost enough to make us turn the other way leaving the cache for another day

29-Apr-10
I almost gave up on this one, between the dogs, and the fast approaching school children ( it was only minutes before the school was going to be set free) when I decided that I was not going to come back to this trap of a spot again. At that moment I said to myself, $#%@ this and litterally climbed into the bush head first, found the cache and exited at about my 11 o'clock on the other side with cache in hand and a head full of spiky leaves and an itch that would not subside for a while from being severally scratched.

DNF for me today

11-Apr-10
Found by Mary & David at 1610. Thought initially when we read this that the cache was somehow related to elves and goblins. Spotted the true connection as we neared GZ. Horrible barking dogs nearby. Despite the considerable damage a couple of months back, the contents remain in surprisingly good condition. Our thanks to Cohens.

26-Feb-10
We found the cache easily - unfortunately it was spread across the ground. It looks an industrial whipper snipper has got to it accidentally. Container is in pieces, contents, including a toy stuffed horse, slashed and spread everywhere. The log is missing a few bits. However, we signed what was left of the log and put as many pieces as we could back in the mangled container which is now open to the weather. We put it as far under the tree as we could reach to keep it as safe and weatherproof as possible. Sorry for the bad news but thanks for the cache.

14-Feb-10
Although I could see it after searching for a short time, getting to it was a bit more challenging than I'd anticipated, and in the end I got my sister to put her hand through the webs and toss it in my direction - thanks, sis! Signed and returned in short order, TFTC ='.'=

13-Feb-10
Found while staying with family. We have returned to the great state of Qld after travelling around Australia for the past nine months. TFTF

06-Feb-10
I started caching with StormyKnights. My sister and I have decided to make up our own profiles so we can see who has found each cache Smile
May the Geo-contest begin [B)]

Thanks for the Cache Cool

Hi, I’m “stellbell 67†and I have been caching as a member of StormyKnights. My brother and I have decided to create our own log-in to reflect accurately how many caches each of us have found (not that we are competitive – hardly!).... Twisted

Therefore this entry has been added retrospectively.

Fairly easy find, although caution is required as the park can be approached from multiple angles. The constantly barking dog is a giveaway too!

Geokids made some small swaps.

We tried quite hard where the GPS indicated and compared it to all the clues without any luck. Is it possibe it may have been muggled as we were positive we were looking in the right place.

24-Aug-09
very easy, first for the goehound though, tftc

11-Aug-09
A very busy morning when I arrived at GZ. The neighbours were in the back yard and people on the play equipment as I looked and saw the cache. I didn't retrieve it as I felt a bit exposed and didn't want to compromise the location. It'll keep for another day! (Just read the last log and smiled)

08-Aug-09
Who's calling who a muggle here! (reference to gunnie69 who coudn't replace due to muggles in their backyard) Thanks Jeff, but I'm not a muggle, didn't realise you put it in my own park!! Smile took the maccas toy for Emma and replaced with a necklace.

Found with Gunnie69 and Silversovereign, quick find by Silversovereign In: Little Miss Something or other. Out - TFTC.

18-Jul-09
Silver Sovereign, GIB69 and I approached GZ and commenced the hunt. We had the entire area coverred between the three of us and SS come up with the goods nice and quickly. [^]

Just as the cache was retrieved, the resident muggles in the nearby dwelling came out to play. Surprised Replacement of the cache needed to be done from a different angle of attack...

Cheers Cohen's

Found with Dannza on a caching expedition of Toowoomba. Toowoomba has beautiful parks everywhere and this is another good example. TNLN TFTC

21-Jun-09
The drizzle had gone for a while and the muggles came out to play immediately. There was a family having a game of touch football around the trees in the park. Grabbed the cache while they were up the other end and sat in the shelter shed to log our find.
Had to wait longer than expected as the touch game came down our end of the park. Waited until the opposition took off with the ball up the other end, replaced the cache and took off ourselves.

04-Mar-09
Having found a couple of Cohen's caches before I had a good idea of what to look for. Park was empty in the middle of the day, though a dog in a nearby backyard had a bark or two at me but its the owner didn't come outside to see what was happening. Thanks Cohen's for another good cache.

19-Feb-09
Logged from my phone using the Geocache Navigator by Trimble. Nice Park, but muggles everywhere. GeoBen and I had to wait a while before hiding the cache again. I left The Dragonfly TB to continue on its journey. The location is close to lakeland water features, and so sort of fits with the dragonfly's mission. Fly Dorothy fly...

17-Feb-09
got it!

16-Feb-09
School's almost in which means mums and rugrats in the park. Managed to log the find unseen, it's interesting how a little fall from the nearby play equipment can create such a distration. That kid had a good set of lungs.

15-Feb-09
08:00 nice quick find once i looked in the right spot.

15-Feb-09
Nobody around as it was too early for the locals to be out, Twisted. The little Fuddleys got an early shot at a playground, they loved spinning around the world. Big Grin Cache was soon in hand and we were off to the next. TFTC

14-Feb-09
Found Ok

14-Feb-09
Entered into the book of LEDGIN'S. Park was empty of human life. A few birds though. Thanks Cohen's

14-Feb-09
Seems the owner was lurking in his back yard peering over the fence at us cachers finding his cache. Had a chat after Mrs L&L came up with the box. I like the idea of having a cache where you can keep an eye on it. Most entertaining. TN/LN/SL

Found easily much to the owners delight. He had had fun watching the endless stream of cars coming into his street Cool TFTC

14-Feb-09
Got down and dirty with this one, thanks to the rain. This cache saw some action to day. The neighbours must have got a bit suspicious with the number of people visiting this one!

14-Feb-09
One could have been forgiven for thinking there was an event cache happening in this street with all the cachers that turned up at the same time to find this one. It was good to meet so many and thanks to Cohen's for placing the cache here.

14-Feb-09
Found with the Lat & Long Junkies. TFTC.

14-Feb-09
The neighbours would've been wondering what had hit their street today! A party going on and they weren't invited! We nearly ran out of parking spots there were so many cachers here today... Thanks for a find in a pretty little park.

14-Feb-09
With nowhere to park the car in the cul-de-sac the family threw me out of the just stationary vehicle to go and find the cache while they did a three point turn and off they went. Luckily I'd organised to meet dizzyanne and The Marble here. Cache was spotted quickly and retrieved before the next lot of cachers came. We met them out on the road chatting to those who'd just found the cache. Definitely a pre-event event. TFTC

14-Feb-09
