Whilst walking along the road to the location, my son jumps back and yells "snake"... after freaking out and grasping his hand so tightly I thought it may break, he then adds "it's dead, mum". Phew! Cache was in our hands within a few minutes. TFTC.
Mr N was too busy looking in the usual places, but Mrs N had a brainwave, again, and we soon had it in hand. Simple hide, though cunning.
Lovely day out cycling and quickly checked to see if there were any geocaches. Enjoyed a great lunch and some wine tasting. Didn't have a pen. Tftc
Driving around and some caching in Hunter Valley. Enjoyed the nice scenery and the excellent food and wine in Hunter Valley. Weather was perfect during this long weekend! Most caches were easy accesible as drive by ones. This one was the closest to our hotel. TFTC
Took longer than I should. 4th find of the series. Off to sneak I. A couple more.
Our first find in the SSS series. Great hide - beware of the gardeners!!
Up around the hunter valley this weekend to take in the sights and as a bit of a getaway, we had a couple of caches on the list that we planned to do which would also take us around the area to places we normally wouldn’t go to, thanks for the cache good series to see the sights lilla07
A lovely day out caching with Calypso62. Found this cache on a very enjoyable trip up to the Hunter Valley.

Geotooter and I seemed to make this one harder to find than it should have been. It really is an easy one! I quite liked the letterbox across the road. After we left and were a few hundred metres down the road, I realised I hadn't taken note of the code in the cache to help me find the final in the series. So, back we went and a photo taken of the required information. Thanks lilla07 for the hide.

Cache #889 and first Swirl, Sip & Savour cache. I now wish I had read the full cache series description, as I do not think I will have time tomorrow for 8 caches. ( My average is 4 or 5 on a good day). Oh well, gives me a reason to return. We did not know there was a country & western concert on at Hope this weekend when we booked our accommodation. Oh well I don't mind c&w when I listen from 800 metres away. TFTC Lilla07
Called in and had a look see at this one. Replaced log and positioned where it should be. Good to go
Find a sign.
There's signs every where.
Which one .......
Of course it had to be the last one I looked at
Cache was soon found , signed , sealed and delivered back to its hiding spot.
Thanks for the cache Lilla I have done 2 and will come back another day for some more.
Not this weekend though as I tried to stop at some up the road and it was all blocked off due to a concert tomorrow.
I will also send you an e mail.

Out for a drive around the Hunter Valley today to get some caches and this was one I found and number 4 in this series.
I was initially stumped by this one but just stood back and had a look and there it was.
Thanks for the cache lilla07

7 from 8 - one was a DNF so not sure if we will get the final cache with missing co-ords...
Day 30 of "31 Days of Geocaching".
Mrs BB and I were up in the Hunter Valley enjoying our wedding anniversary along with a beautiful lunch at The Verandah (this cache is at the entrance), some wine tasting and of course the cache of the day.
This one was it as was right were we were dining.
A quick find and a cool attachment.

Conditions: sunny.
Current streak #25 days.
Today's finds 12 of 16.
My 397th find for The Great Scouts Australia Geocaching Competition 2013.
Day twenty five of the 31 Days of Geocaching in the month of August and I headed out to claim another daily souvenir to keep #31in31 streak alive.
I headed up from Sydney to the Hunter Valley for the day to attend the Caching Among The Vines Meet & Greet Geocaching Event. After the event had ended and while I was on the long way home, I came past this cache for a park and grab. TFTC lilla07.

Somewhat disappointing seeing as though we had only replaced the container and log a bit over a week ago. Will stand it down and replace again ASAP.
Searched and searched for about 40 minutes. As this was the first of the series we were looking for this weekend, it puts a dampener on the rest!
What a shame! We saw this one on the GPS and thought the series would be some fun. Pretty sure it's not here. Hope we can maybe work out the missing coords when we complete the series. We'll see how we go.
Even though this was only found a few days ago - we are sure it has gone..Could CO please check on this one? Thanks
Very quick find. Thank you for organizing the series in Hunter Region. We grabbed first clue and will definitely try to finish the series when we are back in the area. TFTC
Called in and replaced cache container as the lid was broken and also replaced the log. Good to go.
Found on our weekend trip to the hunter. Went for a drive to a few of the wineries and the local caches. TFTC
A quick find guarded by a tiny green frog. Canister need replacement. Thanks lilla07
A relatively quick find by GeoSon D after GeoMum had searched for five minutes without any luck. TFTC
Log is saturated inside its container. I replaced the torn bag but the contents need to be dried out.
Nice easy find at the entrance to our first wine tasting of the day. The bag is torn so the big is damp making signing difficult.
This really is beautiful country out here isn't it?
To have the view, ambience, and even the brew all in the one place and not just a place but a whole Valley; amazing!
If we had more time we would have dropped into these two established on this road but unfortunately we promised the kids a picnic at HVG and the pool later on and I promised Team Verityandequity more caches today.
So, with a quick find and a quick log sign, it was into the next cache of the day.

Simple Minds & Co. at Bimbadgen Estate yesterday, Tapas Tower and a cache at this winery today. How much better can it get? Thanks for the little one and greets from Germany.
Such a cheeky obvious one! All nice and dry even though it's raining heavily today.
