The Big Western Australia trip in 2018. Day 14. A morning in and around Kununarra was followed by a Ord River crossing as the Ivanhoe crossing and a back roads trip to Wyndham for dusk.
I think it is time for this one to be checked.
Thanks.

A great place to look out across the irrigated lands. A pity, it looks like this cache has gone missing.
Thanks.

Me and my sister were going for a look but sadly we didn’t have any luck and we couldn’t find it
I'm visiting Kununurra for a few days (from Canberra) for work. After flying in from Broome I thought a good way of starting to discover Kununurra was to head up to these amazing rock formations.
Sadly, I don't think there is a cache here. There was really only one place that matched the hint and unless it was very well hidden there was no cache there. The CO might want to check.
Still it was absolutely worth the visit for the amazing views - and even more so for the astonishing views once I hugged and puffed my way up to the real prize at the top of the knob behind.

In Kununurra for a few days and chance for a drive around town for a cache or two. This was certainly a great lookout to visit. TFTC Everlasting.
We are staying in Kununurra for the day and we went out to check out the sights. This was the first place we visited and Enjoyed the sights then quickly found the cache.

Spending a few days in WA before heading back home to Qld after our holiday in the top part of NT. We've spent the day checking out the sights of Kununurra & this was our last stop before heading back to the campground.
A great view from up here, obligatory photos taken & off to find a cache which was a very quick find as it was sitting out in the open. Log signed & cache replaced & covered.

It is now a large preform container.
It is now under the bottom ledge of the rock with the tree growing out of it.
Many thanks to Team Crackers for replacement the cache for me.

We came up here yesterday to grab a cache and take in the sunset views and realised that the cache had been disabled. We had a good look around and with a great spoiler pic we knew that this cache hide was now totally different due to rock movement. We contacted the CO and explained the circumstances and she was more than happy for us to replace the missing container and we were more than happy to do so. It also gave us an excuse to come back to this great location in the morning and see the different contrasting lights with the sun in a different part of the sky.
Thanks for bringing us to this great location Everlasting

On our trip from Perth to Darwin we found this Cache. Greeting from Germany, Saxony, Leipzig Petra und Kurt (kupesp)
A quick find today while on a spending spree around Kununnurra. TWO was looking from the 'lower lookout' while I located and signed the cache close to the upper. A long time since we've chatted Danielle [:;]. Thanks to Everlasting for the cache.
Continuing west and staying for a couple of days we went here for a sunset treat.
Not so much the sun setting in the west but the colours of the rocks to the east as the sun sets on them.
Found and signed.
Thanks.

Groet team Geo Burgt.

tftc,
Today is day 25 of an adventure that will take me around Australia with a group of trackables. My caches visited can be tracked by checking out the Key Ring using the code TB4P4C1.
At this stage it just involves highway driving, but that will change and the places people take you to with their cache placements will inspire you to explore our great country.
Nana nel located this one. A faorite for the view.
As a part of my contribution to helping make the "Easter 2017 Red Centre Experience" GC6825Z a great Event, I will be leaving a card in every cache that is large enough to take it. This card provides a number for a trackable so you can "Discover me". There is also the Web page address "red.ozmega.com.au".
Happy caching.

After a day of rest, off to do some geocaching in Kununurra, what a great place to find one. Good view. Signed and replaced, thanks to Everlasting.
What a view! Wonderful. Definitely deserving a favourite tick. TFTC Everlasting.
Our current visit to Australia had been in the planning for over a year with the very significant help and advice from friends who live in Melbourne. The original plan was for a 2 month visit, but as things progressed we just couldn't help extending our trip to the full 90 days allowed on our visas - after all it's a big country and so much to see and do, especially with our favourite pastimes being birding, hiking and of course geocaching! Our journey started with our arrival at Perth airport followed by a day cycling around Rottnest Island before travelling on to Adelaide where we met up with our friends. We then continued on to spend some time on Kangaroo Island, before heading to Melbourne via Goolwa, Strathalbyn, Coorong, Mount Gambier, Cape Bridgewater, the Grampians National Park, Port Campbell, Cape Otway and Lorne, cramming in as much as possible on route. The second leg of our journey was a fabulous 9 days in Tasmania. Having then returned to Melbourne we set off on the third leg of our journey, which was to Sydney via Wilson’s Promontory, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota, Pambula Beach, Thredbo, Canberra and Fitzroy Falls. We then spent a few days in Sydney with geocaching friends before flying on to the Gold Coast for the fourth leg of our travels, that included visits to Lamington National Park, Noosa and an overnight trip out to Fraser Island. We then flew from Brisbane to Cairns, where we spent a couple of nights before heading out to the birding hotspots of Yungaburra and Daintree. Following on from a visit to Cape Tribulation we turned to Port Douglas. After a day out on the Great Barrier Reef we returned to Cairns for the flight to Alice Springs and the fifth leg of our travels, which was a wonderful week driving the circuit to and from Ayers Rock in our 4x4 camper. On returning to Alice Springs we then flew on to Darwin, where we picked up another 4x4 camper. We are currently making our way towards Broome via Kakadu, Cooinda, Katherine Gorge, Kununarra, Lake Argyle, Emma Gorge, the Bungle Bungle’s and Fitzroy Crossing. Our last two nights in Australia will be spent in Broome before we fly back to Perth, from where we will connect with the flight all the way back home to Zimbabwe via South Africa. We already know we can't wait to return!
This was a fairly quick find after having first enjoyed the early morning views and watched two Kangaroos jumping about on the rocks below. Thanks so much for the cache.

A beautiful lookout, thanks for putting the cache here for us to find on our visit here. TFTC
What a special cache, celebrating our 4000 and the completion of our once I a lifetime road trip of the Kimberley's. What better spot than the awesome lookout of Kununurra. A favourite from us for the location. Tftc
What a great view had to be careful as muggles were hanging around.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Took us awhile and we have given ourselves points for preserving. Luckily we had loads of time with no niggles. Off to reward ourselves with a drink. Super hide!
Searched for a good amount of time with no luck
Enjoyed the views none the less

Took some time, but finally we found the box. Very nice spot.
Thanks for the hide.
Thanks for the hide.
Thankfully we didn't see the Spoiler Photo. Sometimes I wonder
why people do this. It really is a Spoiler.
We were here way back in 1971 and took in the views then.
Not much has changed really since then. We planned on going
up again but this time with a reward at the end.
Found the cache, signed the log and replaced in the same way
as it was found.
Thanks Everlasting

A quick find while on our half lap of Australia. Just doing the lookout admiring the views and grabbing a cache. TFTC.
Today we explored Kununurra and surrounds using geocaching as a guide. We tackled this cache in the afternoon when it was a bit cooler, dodged the muggles and made a quick find. What a fantastic view, well worth the walk. From here we then did the GA up the big hill!!
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

After three attempts, the first being in 2011 we have finally found this one. Couldn't sign log as pencil was broken. Tftc
Found at sunset. Extreme stealth required in presence of multiple muggles. Wonderful view. TFTC.
Last find for the day while visiting Kununurra. Great views from the lookout.
Thanks
Thanks
Found this one after muggles had descended and before the next lot came up. We found it fairly quickly. Enjoyed the views over the town. TFTC.
A wonderful place to have a look over the town. It's so strange for us Germans to see a town right in the middle of nowhere so far away from the next settlement. Anyway, nice cache.

Went up for a sunset view and a geocache hunt but way to many muggles and mugglets all over the subject area and rocks so abandoned the search. Nice sunset though but too quick. Recommend to search for cache way prior to the sunset crowd! Particularly on a Friday night.
